However, she was above a deep and seemingly bottomless chasm. Thus, she could do nothing but fall down.
"Aaah!" Kirara shouted as she fell down. She manoeuvred and thrust the two long swords into the cliff.
"Boo!" "Whoo-oo-oo..." "Uuuu..."
The nearby ghosts and evil spirits surrounded the hanging human.
"Go away!" Kirara used her magic. She glowed like a lamp amidst the darkness. The surrounding weak ghosts and evil spirits were reduced to dust.
However, there were still countless supernatural evil creatures floating in the abyss. They were varied in shape and size but were equally terrifying.
"Are you okay?" Sylvia peered down into the abyss.
"Quickly pull her up." Ely urged Sylvia to take quick rescue action.
"Hmm, alright. You are a sword saint or sword maiden... your sword skills are pretty good, but you urgently need a new sword." Sylvia sent several blood threads down to save Kirara. She murmured, but it sounded like a scolding.
"Cleanse the evil." Ely used her purification light to drive away the surrounding ghosts and evil spirits. She then looked back. Her disciples, Yuuki, Evelyn, and Noir, had almost finished exterminating the abyss demons.
Sylvia’s blood threads wrapped around Kirara’s waist, and Sylvia pulled Kirara up. However, Kirara’s sword and Ely’s holy sword were still stuck.
Kirara planted her foot on the cliff, then pulled it with all her might.
*Clang*
Kirara managed to pull both swords out, but they left the cracks in the cliff. She was then pulled up by Sylvia.
"Um, thank you." Kirara expressed her gratitude.
"Everything is okay." Ely checked Kirara’s condition. Luckily, they were on time, and Kirara was fine. She only had three priestesses by her side, and it would be bad if one got hurt.
"They’re almost done. Let’s find a way to cross this chasm. It’s only about five hundred meters wide, but it’s so deep and seems bottomless." Sylvia sighed as she looked at the dark abyss. She felt the abyss staring back at her, but she didn’t care.
With Ely’s holy light, no spiritual evil creatures dared to approach. So, she could ask her pet to serve as a bridge.
After reaching that conclusion, Sylvia looked for Noir’s whereabouts. He just killed an abyss demon and then put on a triumphant pose.

Ely looked down when she heard some strange noises.
"!!!" Ely was surprised to find that the rocky ground where her foot was standing had many cracks. The ground would collapse!
She immediately pulled Kirara and Sylvia away from the edge of the cliff, but the place where they stood suddenly collapsed.
"Aaahh!!!" Kirara shouted in surprise.
She had just been rescued from the abyss, but she had once again fallen down there. She also dragged Ely and Sylvia with her.
"Ugh!" Sylvia immediately caught Ely’s hand and Kirara’s leg. She flapped her black angel-like wings frantically.
It was easy, but this Hell Trial’s laws pulled them down.

However, Sylvia’s wings had become too heavy to move. She fell with Ely and Kirara. Before they fell too deep, Sylvia thought of throwing Ely and Kirara up to save them.
"It’s okay. Get closer to the stone wall, and we can get out safely." Ely grasped Sylvia’s hand tightly as she could tell Sylvia’s intention.
"..." Sylvia spoke nothing more. She took out a sturdy high-tier spear and thrust it into the cliff wall with her dragon tail.

Sylvia landed there safely. She pulled Ely and Kirara close to the wall so they could stand on it. "Quick, hold on."
"Purify." Ely used her skill to emit a purification light from her palm. The surrounding evil spirits within a twenty-meter radius vanished into ashes, and the other spiritual entities immediately kept their distance.
She then looked up at the steep, sharp rock wall above her. The black mist and evil spirits blocked the view, but her Sacred Vision could help her see more clearly.
They had already fallen about four hundred meters into the abyss. Yuuki and the others were panicking up there.
As for the bottom of the abyss, it was pretty shallow. They were only about a hundred meters from the ground. There was a deeper layer of abyss, but she could see the first bottom was nearby.

Kirara appreciated Ely’s reassurance and was relieved because of it.
"Phew..." Sylvia breathed a sigh of relief.

The rumbling sound from below sounded like a series of explosions. Several pillars of fire then shot up.
The temperature there was relatively hotter than in the volcano area, but one thing made Ely gasp.
A pair of fiery blue eyes glowed in the darkness. It moved closer from within the deeper abyss rapidly.

A massive hell serpent shot up by slithering up the rock wall of a steep cliff.
"Hold on to my blood threads. We can hitchhike that monster to the surface." Sylvia tied Ely and Kirara with her blood threads, and then she used the spear that was still stuck as a springboard to jump towards the hell serpent.
"Hey, wait!" Kirara wasn’t ready yet. Sylvia immediately took a risky action without considering anything!
"Ha!" Sylvia plunged her dagger into the hell serpent and dangled from the huge monster’s back.
"Hiss!" The hell serpent squirmed to shake the puny creatures on its back to fall. It then turned around to devour the puny creatures on its back.
"Just keep going upward!" Sylvia manifested her darkness and blood weapon to hit the hell serpent’s head.
The brief clashes happened, and Sylvia only made the hell serpent angrier.
The hell serpent slammed its body against the wall, then continued to shoot up as if it was crushing the puny creatures on its back.
"Phew..." Sylvia had shifted position to avoid the collision and crush.

Yuuki and Evelyn immediately used their ultimate move, but the hell serpent was agile. Their attacks only grazed the massive hell serpent.

She then pulled her dagger from the hell serpent and landed elegantly.
