NOVPUB"No, no, my tower!" The Evil God growled in annoyance but dared not descend into the Hell Trial Realm.
Based on his observations, the ones strongest challengers were Sylvia the blood dragon devil, the nine-tailed demon fox, and the lightning human girl. They killed many hell beings. Not to mention, that Deity-level magma black dragon.
Despite everything, the most dangerous threat was actually the seemingly powerless devil. That ’man’ was supposed to only have prowess equal to 0th Rank, but it was just an illusion and an error in estimation.
Every ultimate attack launched by this dangerous variable could wipe out several 10th Rank monsters at once. This threat was the one that eliminated most hell creatures.
To put it bluntly, the Hell Trial’s creatures could be wiped out by this threat single-handedly. This threat also had several faithful, obedient servants. Regardless, the evil energy corruption had no effect on them.
This situation was driving him crazy. The central figure and the most dangerous threat was that seemingly powerless devil young master. Even the blood dragon devil and the nine-tailed demon fox listened to that man’s order.
"My faithful servants of hell! Heed my call! Exterminate the challengers who are climbing my tower!" The Evil God growled, followed by rumbling thunder in the sky.
Three gigantic gates appeared around the sky tower, and they opened slowly, creating the sound of jingling chains. An aura of death and destruction was creeping out of the gates.
"Grr!" "Roar!" "Awoooo!"
Three monstrous demonic beasts at the pinnacle of the 12th Rank emerged from within the giant gate.
"!?" Noir was threatened. He stopped for a moment and thought. He was a 10th Rank demonic dragon and a powerful overlord. However, somehow, there were still many entities capable of bullying him.
"Don’t stop! Keep moving up. We’ll handle them." Sylvia smacked Noir on the head.
"Rawr..." Noir grumbled, but he then continued to climb the sky tower.
The three monsters rushed to hunt down the challengers.
"I’ll take the left, you in the middle. Eve, you the right. Please assist us, everyone." Yuuki pulled her bowstring as she divided the chores between everyone.
"Alright. Noir, listen to Ely’s command. We will cheat our way to the final floor." Sylvia patted Noir on the head before getting ready to attack.
"..." Gabriella and the other disciples also prepared to attack. This was a long-range group battle for survival, but strangely, they felt it was like a training simulation somehow.
"Grr!" The wolf-like monster shot up with impressive speed. It catches up with the black dragon in seconds.
"Your opponent is me. Return to your grave!" Sylvia swung her dark spear and knocked down the wolf-like monster.
The black flames burned that monster, but its flesh was peeled off to avoid the lasting flames. It immediately regenerated its skin before rushing up the sky tower again.
The hell dragon flew straight up. It was completely unaffected by the altitude restriction and immediately confronted the black dragon. It opened its mouth wide, ready to spit hot blue flames.
"Heavenly Ice, Absolute Zero!" Yuuki released her ice arrow towards the hell dragon above.
*Swoosh* *Rumble*
The super hot blue fire met the extremely cold ice arrow. The elemental collision occurred and destroyed each other.
However, Yuuki’s Heavenly Ice was still superior to the blue fire. She released another arrow and went straight into the hell dragon’s mouth.
*Crackle* *Crackle*
The hell dragon froze and fell as a giant chunk of ice.
Yuuki’s ice couldn’t kill it that easily, but it was enough to buy some time.
*Rumble!* *Boom!* *Bang!*
Evelyn spoke nothing and attacked the strange monster approaching with her divine thunder and elemental magics. Kirara and Ely’s disciples also helped her.
*Blop* *Blop*
The liquid-like monster continued to slither upwards, only slowing down occasionally, despite the many elemental attacks raining down on its body.
"The lightning element is effective enough to slow its movements. If you have any elemental magic, use it now! Help me attack the monster to form composite magic! Yuuki, shoot your ice at that thing!" Evelyn was a little overwhelmed.
"OK." Yuuki fired a shot to freeze the liquid-like monster, but the freezing effect was quite slow, and it was negated by the corrosive liquid.
Even so, the other twelve people immediately launched their follow-up attacks. Their combined magic created various elemental reactions and caused the liquid monster to be overwhelmed. It soon fell but immediately stuck to the wall of the sky tower again.
"..." Ely took a deep breath and took out another SS Rank holy weapon.
She had already used more than half of her holy weapons and artifacts. Yet, she couldn’t be careless and kept saving them for the unexpected when they were already close to the final floor.
With that in mind, Ely didn’t hesitate to use her Mythical-tier weapon again.
"Elemental strikes!" Ely raised the golden sceptre high, and a dazzling colourful light radiated from it.
Hundreds of colourful magic circles appeared in the air, and various elemental attacks soon rained down on any creatures around the sky tower.

The elemental strikes obliterated countless hell creatures within a two-kilometer radius. Yet, monsters above 10th Rank or above only suffered a few injuries.
Area of effect attacks couldn’t inflict enough damage to easily kill a 10th Rank monster or above. However, Ely’s objective was to safely arrive at the sky tower’s final floor.
"Keep it up, Noir. We are close!" Ely was panting while holding on tightly to Noir’s horn because she was afraid to fall.
"Roar!" Noir roared with pride. It was already close to the summit, and he could see they were so close to the fiery blue sky.
The Hell Trial’s challengers should need to enter the sky tower and climb up after clearing the obstacles on each floor in this massive sky tower. However, Ely’s group didn’t take that risk and cheated from the tower’s outside wall.
The magma black dragon climbed up quickly, thanks to Sylvia’s acceleration magic. It took almost four minutes to reach the top.
The spiritual roots and energy flow in the air and spread from a floor beneath the tower’s summit.
Ely pointed to the side. Everyone understood their destination was behind that wall.
"Stop! I won’t allow it!" The Evil God shouted out loud.
All of his powerful minions were successfully knocked down by the challengers. Everything didn’t go according to what he had planned. He should have laughed at the ending, but he was now at his wit’s end.
If he failed to prevent those challengers, and they did what he did not wish to happen, then his thousands of years of efforts and preparations to seek revenge against the heaven would go down the drain.
With that thought in mind, he had no choice but to unleash one of his ultimate moves.
A giant golden palm fell from the sky, about to catch the dragon at the top of the tower.
"Let’s see what you can do!" Sylvia threw her spear into the sky to clash with the golden palm.
*Bam!*
The black flames and the darkness smashed into the golden palm, creating a huge impact in the air. However, Sylvia’s attack was not strong enough to prevent the golden palm from descending.
Her spear fell, and she quickly pulled it back up.
*Boom!*
Everyone worked together to make a hole in the super thick and hard tower wall. It took them some time, but they managed to create a small gap that penetrated the inside.
"Quick, come in." Ely immediately jumped in, and everyone immediately followed suit.
She knew everyone was tired because they continuously used powerful ranged attacks within those decisive minutes. They were nearly out of spiritual energy, and further fighting would only be detrimental.
Noir transformed into a little dragon and immediately entered the gap before the golden palm fell upon him.
*Boom!*
The golden palm hit the sky tower’s summit, shattering the ceiling.
Ely activated a protective talisman and rushed towards a red gem floating above the altar in the hall’s centre.
She didn’t know whether it was the real Hell Trial Realm’s core or not. Regardless, since the spiritual roots and energy flows throughout this realm spread from there, she could only conclude it was something of great value to this Hell Trial Realm, or perhaps the entire Artificial Hell Realm.
The Evil God also panicked. That possibility was most likely true.
A weapon and artifact above A Rank that has recognized someone as the owner would never betray the owner even if it was destroyed. Unless the owner died or there were problems with the ’relationship’, it would never recognize a new owner, let alone listen to other people’s orders.
However, Ely had a technique where her skill could nullify any evil things from anything. Since everything originated from evil energy, then nothing was impossible there.
"Greater Purification!" Ely used her potent purification skill. She didn’t care if it would drain hundreds of thousands of her MP and SP all at once.
The golden light shone, nearly blinding everyone.
"Stop!" The Evil God descended from the sky. He never thought that a 0th Rank devil could pose such an overwhelming threat even to the realm core.
