Its muffled voice dripped with malice and contempt as it lashed out with dark tendrils of energy, seeking to snuff out the light that shone from within.

Elysia annihilated the doppelganger into mush, but the puddle soon manifested into her form again, sparkling with an increasingly intense purplish-blue sheen.
