Chapter 123: Chapter 123 Kyra’s beast shifting(2)

The whole tribe was hard at work, and Kyra was particularly excited as she instructed the males to start building her house.

She had ordered all the necessary materials, though she had worried about how they would carry so much. When she asked, the males explained that they had built carriers to transport everything efficiently.

The main structure of the house was already complete, but there was still much work to do inside.

Kyra had also requested a swimming pool in the backyard and a wall around the house for added security and privacy.

Her house was large, a combination of four domes joined together, each designed to her specific requests.

She looked through the round windows, which offered a stunning view of the outside, though they still needed to be fitted with glass.

Walking across the cement floor, Kyra checked the progress.

The stairs had already been built, and she climbed them to the second floor.

There were four rooms upstairs, each one spacious with huge bay windows that could be opened to reveal breathtaking views of the mountains.

A smile spread across her face as she imagined the finished space.

Each room was designed for comfort and beauty, with balconies where she planned to put sofas and grow plants and flowers.

She then went outside to check on the school’s progress.

The whole school was taking up a large area in the middle of the tribe, with each room being spacious and well-designed.

Vincent had decided they would make the furniture themselves, so they hadn’t purchased any.

Kyra was excited about the project and couldn’t wait to see everything come together.

"Female, we’ve already done what you asked!" a male shouted from the other side. Kyra walked over and looked at the arena with built-in seats. She smiled and nodded in satisfaction.

"You’ve done a great job," Kyra said, smiling as she checked everything.

The males beamed with pride at her praise.

After thoroughly inspecting the arena, Kyra’s smile widened.

She then moved to another area where the hospital was being built. It was a large, three-story building. Although they only had one healer, he was ready to pass his knowledge to the younger males, ensuring the tribe’s health in the future.

Everything was going smoothly, and life was interesting with Vincent, the cold and quiet snake, and Lucas, the sunny wolf who couldn’t stay quiet for a second.

Their relationship was growing stronger.

They were happy together, despite occasional jealousy, which they didn’t allow to ruin their bond.

Having Vincent by her side, who was usually quiet but could make Kyra blush until she turned tomato-red with just a few words.

And cheerful Lucas, who always made her laugh with his antics, was a constant source of joy.

Especially since Lucas discovered that Vincent got jealous when he made new friends, he teased Vincent endlessly.

It was reasonable for Vincent to feel jealousy; he had never experienced true friendship before.

Now that he had accepted Lucas as a friend and saw him making more friends, he felt uncomfortable.

Vincent also had to deal with other males trying to flirt with Kyra and befriend Lucas, which only added to his jealousy.

However, Vincent accepted that he liked Lucas’s company. After all, who wouldn’t like having a cheerful, cute friend who always helped in difficult times?

In the blink of an eye, it was October 19th, Kyra’s birthday.

Today was the day Kyra was going to shift into her beast form. Lucas and Vincent had woken up early at four o’clock, but Kyra, not being a morning person, woke up later than usual.

She saw the anxious look on her husband’s face but felt too lazy to worry about anything. She enjoyed her breakfast and orange juice, relaxing and feeling happy about not having to work today.

"Ky-Ky, when are you going to shift? Do you want water? Do you feel anything in your body?" Lucas asked anxiously.

"Yeah, Rainbow! Do you feel pain or something? You have to tell us if you feel something." Vincent added, his concern evident.

Kyra didn’t even reply; she was feeling too lazy to answer.

"Capsule" she muttered, causing both males to raise their brows in confusion.

"I will shift in the capsule." Kyra said lazily as she raised her wrist to activate the capsule and randomly chose the previous setting. She asked Lucas to open it and Vincent to carry her inside.

Vincent gently took her in his arms and carried her to the capsule.

He put her softly on the bed and kissed her forehead.

Time passed slowly, and Kyra’s eyes began to water from sleepiness.

In the afternoon, Lucas made lunch and fed her.

"Is this a side effect of her shifting?" Vincent asked, frowning. Kyra had never been this lazy.

"Yeah, I think so. Let’s see what happens." Lucas said, nodding.

Kyra lay in bed, feeling nothing but laziness and sleepiness.

Suddenly, a shock went through her body. She felt her bones starting to crack, her eyes instantly turned red, and she fell from the bed, screaming.

Hearing her scream, Lucas and Vincent looked at each other and ran toward the room.

"Kyra!" Lucas shouted, rushing to her side.

"What’s happening?" Vincent asked, panic in his voice.

Kyra writhed on the floor, her body convulsing in pain. "It hurts," she managed to gasp between screams.

Lucas tried to hold her, but her body was shaking violently. "We need to do something!" he yelled to Vincent.

Vincent’s mind raced. "This must be part of her shifting process. We need to keep her safe and make sure she doesn’t hurt herself."

They watched helplessly as Kyra’s form began to change. Her limbs elongated, and her skin took on a different texture. Her screams echoed through the room, filled with both pain and transformation.

Lucas knelt beside her, holding her hand. "You’re strong, Kyra. You can get through this."

Vincent stood guard, ready to help with anything she needed. "We’re here for you." he said, his voice steady and Deep despite the turmoil inside him.

Minutes felt like hours as the transformation continued. Kyra’s body contorted, and her screams gradually subsided into deep, heavy breaths. Finally, the shifting seemed to slow down, and she lay still, her beast form revealed.

Lucas and Vincent’s eyes widened when they saw her beast form.....
