Chapter 131: Chapter 131 Lucas remembered why he was kidnapped by Vincent.

She wanted to give her house a cozy wood-themed makeover. She asked Vincent, Lucas, and Tom for their opinions, but they were fine with whatever she chose.

So, she decided to decorate each of their rooms based on their personalities.

Choosing wooden furniture and avoiding dark colors, she opted for a warm brown paint with hints of yellow throughout the house.

Natural light filled the rooms, making the space feel inviting.

She chose Eleation tiles for the floors, there are only few type tiles are available like marble some other they didn’t look much good.

In the living room, she created a cozy nook by the window, perfect for relaxing. Lucas, who loves the sun, would surely enjoy lounging there.

Outside, she added a swimming pool for Vincent and asked him to plant a tree for shade. She also planned a flower garden, adding beauty to the backyard.

Meanwhile, Lucas had his own plans. He decided to start a farm, investing all his savings in seeds and hiring workers with fair wages. He even chose the central area of Market for his shop, aiming for the largest space available.

If someone wanted to open a shop in the Venomcrest tribe, they first had to register their name and describe what their shop would offer. They also needed to gather coins to set up their shop. This was a necessary step for anyone looking to become a shopkeeper in the tribe.

Once all the members of the Venomcrest tribe had settled into their new homes, any new members who wished to join the tribe in the future would have to pay coins to do so. This ensured that the tribe could sustain itself and grow.

Vincent was busy managing various tribe affairs. By this time, the houses had already been painted and everything else was done; all that remained was moving the furniture into the houses. Thanks to the new pipeline, the tribe members no longer had to fill buckets of water from the river or any other water source, making their lives much easier.

Vincent was skilled in making furniture, worked alongside other men proficient in woodworking. It took them more than a week to finish making all the furniture needed for the new homes. After that, everyone started moving furniture into their houses, and the process went smoothly.

Lucas was meeting with his wolf friends, Jin and Ezra, who hugged him so tightly that he could barely breathe.

"I never thought you would get a talented and beautiful female to accept you as a mate, and even her second, more dangerous mate accepted you after what you did to him," Ezra said emotionally. "Even though you were kidnapped by him, you managed to melt his heart with your silly ways." He looked at Lucas with a mix of admiration and sentiment.

Lucas, confused asked, "What did I do to him? Guys, what are you talking about? What did I do to Vincent that got me kidnapped? No one told me! You’re my friends, tell me."

"You don’t remember?" Jin’s eyes widened in disbelief, his face a mask of shock.

"Ahem, you ate the wine fruit we collected. You actually peed on the feral king, and you wanted to poop on him... He was very, very angry and kidnapped you," Jin explained.

Lucas’s eyes widened in shock. Suddenly, all the memories came flooding back. He remembered trying to fly while sitting on Vincent’s snake body. He gulped.

"Remember?" Ezra asked.

"I think it was your wine fruit that did that. With my alpha personality, I would never do such things.." Lucas said, trying to maintain a serious expression.

"Yes, yes, we believe you." they both said, their faces showing I don’t belive you expression.

"Come here," Lucas beckoned them closer. They exchanged looks and leaned in.

"By the way, where did you find that fruit? Help me get it and plant that tree in the Snake Tribe," he whispered.

"If you let us see your new house and treat us to a meal," they said, eyes sparkling with excitement. They had heard about the new amenities like electricity and the river connected with pipelines, so they didn’t have to fetch water in buckets.

"Of course, I will give you guys a house party," Lucas said proudly. "And don’t worry, Kyra is also helping the Silver Wolf tribe get electricity and pipelines."

Kyra had already told him she would share her methods for installing electricity and pipelines. She wanted to do this because of his parents and had already discussed it with Patriarch Tim, who offered her a good amount of coins. They were considering cooperation with the Snake Tribe.

Vincent agreed because of Kyra and Lucas’s parents.

"Really?" Their eyes widened as they looked at Lucas with starry eyes.

"Lucas, you’re so kind. Can you tell Kyra about us? We share a mate and live together," Jin said shyly.

Lucas looked at them both coldly.

"Haha!" he laughed. "Who told you I am kind? I am going to beat your ass until you remember Kyra is your SISTER-IN-LAW." he said, chasing after them. Jin and Ezra, sensing danger, started running away as fast as they could.

Lucas watched them flee and muttered, "Cowards." before heading back to his cottage.

He felt a pang of sadness as he began packing up his clothes, preparing to leave his home and tribe behind.

But he also felt a wave of happiness at the thought of starting a new life with Kyra and Vincent.

He took a bag and started packing all his shampoos.

"My shampoos. I use them to wash my fur coat," Lucas replied, placing them carefully in his bag. He sneakily glanced around, now understanding why he was kidnapped, but he decided not to bring up the topic—it was embarrassing enough! And he certainly wouldn’t let Kyra know about this.

"So many?" Vincent thought aloud.

Then he remembered how thick Lucas’s fur was. It made sense that Lucas would need more shampoo than usual.

And now that Kyra also had a thick fur coat, he made a mental note to buy extra shampoo for his furry mate and friend.
