Chapter 142: Chapter 142 Celebration day

The next morning, Kyra woke up in her bed, Vincent’s arms wrapped protectively around her.

She peered out from under his arm, her eyes widening as she met Vincent’s gaze, a smile playing on his lips.

Blushing, she felt a mixture of shyness and contentment.

"Good morning." Vincent murmured, his voice low, deep, and undeniably sexy.

Kyra nodded, her voice a bit hoarse from the previous night’s moans and pleas for mercy.

Despite her begging, Vincent showed no signs of pity.

Kyra pouted and buried her face in his arms. "You’re so bad. Now my legs and throat are sore because of you," she mumbled into his skin.

Vincent chuckled softly, his hand stroking her hair affectionately. "You loved every minute of it." he teased, his voice filled with satisfaction and a hint of playfulness.

Kyra sighed, feeling both embarrassed and exhilarated by his words. She couldn’t deny the truth in them, remembering the intensity of their shared moments.

"Hmm! Don’t worry, Lucas has prepared warm soup and breakfast for you, knowing you overworked last night." Vincent said, chuckling.

Kyra’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

She grabbed a pillow and playfully hit his face. "You’re terrible." she mumbled, hiding her face behind the pillow to mask her blush.

Vincent laughed softly, catching her wrist and gently pulling the pillow away. "Come on, let’s get you fed. You’ll feel better after some rest and a good meal."

In the blink of an eye, the day of celebration had arrived. Many of the snakes were busy preparing wood for the bonfire and gathering food.

As the celebration was set for the evening, members from other tribes had already begun to arrive.

As the bonfire roared to life, casting a warm glow over the gathering, the air was filled with the hum of excited conversations.

Groups of people stood around, talking animatedly, their faces lit with anticipation.

"I can’t believe how advanced this tribe is," one beastman from the Silver Wolf Tribe said, his eyes wide with wonder. "Look at their houses! I’ve never seen anything like them."

"Right? It’s like they’re from a different world," his friend agreed, nodding vigorously. "I heard they even have running water and electricity. Can you imagine that?"

Sally stood with her mates, listening to the chatter around her. Nathan was engrossed in a conversation with another one of Sally’s mate, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Did you see the way they light up their homes? It’s like magic," he said. "I don’t know how they do it, but it’s amazing." 𝓃𝓸𝓋𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝒸ℴ𝓶

Sally’s other mate, with a smile, laughed. "I’ve heard they use something called ’electricity.’ It’s supposed to be really powerful. I wish we had that in our tribe."

Nathan nodded, though a flicker of jealousy crossed his face. Lucas seemed to have everything—living in a nice place and even receiving better treatment from the snakes.

"I don’t get why everyone likes Lucas so much." Nathan thought.

She watched Nathan and her other mates talk excitedly about the Venomcrest Tribe, feeling a burning jealousy and a desire for revenge.

Nathan voice was full of admiration as he spoke about the tribe’s advancements. He glanced over at Sally with wide eyes, excitement clear on his face. "Can you believe the technology they have here? It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen!"

Sally forced a smile, her eyes narrowing slightly as she scanned the crowd for Kyra. "Yes, it’s quite something." she said, her tone betraying none of her true feelings. Inside, she was seething. How dare Kyra receive so much praise and attention?

Nearby, two beastmen were talking about the feral king. "I heard he’s incredibly strong and wise. No wonder this tribe is so advanced."

"And Kyra," the other man added. "She’s the real genius behind all of this. I’ve heard she was the one who designed the entire tribe and led males to build it."

Sally’s fists clenched at her sides. She looked down at the bracelet on her wrist, its symbols glowing faintly in the firelight.

Tonight, she would use it to execute her plan..

Soon, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as five beautiful females came from the other side of the bonfire, accompanied by a group of male snakes.

Their entrance caused a stir, with males from other tribes buzzing around, trying to catch their attention.

"Wow, look at them," one male exclaimed, eyes wide with admiration. "They’re beautiful!"

Amid the excitement, a few curious voices rose above the chatter. "By the way, where is the feral king and Lucas?" one asked, glancing around.

"Yeah, and where’s Kyra? I heard she’s the most beautiful female here, but I haven’t seen her yet." another added, scanning the crowd.

"And the celebration has already started, right? Shouldn’t they be here?" someone else chimed in, sounding puzzled.

"Let’s grab some food," one male suggested looking at food stall. "It looks tasty!"

"Did you know Lucas from the Silver Tribe has opened a food shop in the market?" another male mentioned hearing his words, excitement in his voice. "I explored the market earlier and was shocked at how good it was."

"Yeah, me too!" his friend agreed, nodding eagerly. "I would love to buy some things from here."

"Hello, hello!" Kyle spoke loudly, catching the attention of all the beasts and females nearby.

"Thank you all, beasts and females, for coming to celebrate this special day of the Venomcrest Tribe." he said, his voice carrying over the crowd. As everyone’s attention turned to him, he took a moment to scan the gathering, a satisfied smile on his face.

"We have been busy building this tribe for months, and our dreams have finally come to fruition. To celebrate the completion of our tribe, we have invited you all here. I hope you enjoy the food and the festivities." Kyle continued, his enthusiasm evident.

He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in. "We have also prepared piano music and dances by our tribe females, so don’t forget to cheer them on!" he added, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

The crowd buzzed with anticipation. Who didn’t love music and dances? Everyone looked forward to the performances, their excitement palpable.

Soon, Monica appeared, causing many males to cheer. She began her special snake dance, moving gracefully to the beautiful piano music.

The males shouted and whistled, completely enthralled by her performance.

However, suddenly, a hush fell over the crowd. The cheering and whistling stopped abruptly as everyone turned to look in a particular direction, their jaws almost dropping to the ground.
