Chapter 164: Chapter 164 Leaving Damon
Benjamin coughed, blood dripping from his mouth. He glared up at Damon, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and hatred. "This isn’t over, Damon," he spat weakly.
Damon’s jaw tightened, but he turned away, not wanting to waste another moment on him. He reached for Kyra, gently pulling her away from the scene. "Let’s go, little thing."
Benjamin’s eyes turned dark as he watched Damon and Kyra walk away. He shifted back into his human form, his face becoming gentle again.
He wiped the blood from his lips and straightened his robe. With calm and grace, he walked back to his house as if nothing had happened, his steps steady and composed.

"Little thing..." he tried to hold her hands, but she shook him off and quickly walked upstairs. He ran after her.
Kyra shut the door behind her, her face blank.
"Little thing, open the door. I didn’t know he would do such things... please, open the door." he pleaded, knocking on the door with bloody hands.
Kyra remembered how he was injured during the fight. She opened the door and looked at him expressionlessly, then pulled him inside and let him sit on the bed. She turned and walked out of the room.
"Little thing, where are you going?" he shouted.
"Wait," she said as she went downstairs. She looked around for a clean rag and a bowl of water and quickly returned upstairs.
"Little thing..." his eyes fell on her hands holding the rag and bowl.
Kyra knelt beside Damon, dipping the rag into the bowl of water. Her movements were careful and deliberate as she started to clean the blood from his wounds and secretly used her healing ability to soothe his wounds.
Damon watched her, his eyes softening with each gentle touch. He hadn’t expected her to take care of him like this, especially after everything that had just happened.
As she worked, her face remained stoic, but her hands were gentle, almost tender. She wiped the blood from his face, her touch lingering slightly on the deeper cuts. Damon felt a strange warmth spread through him, something he couldn’t quite place. He watched her, captivated by her focus and the way her eyes flickered with concern despite her attempt to hide it.
"Thank you," he murmured.
Kyra didn’t respond, but she glanced up briefly, their eyes meeting for a moment.
In that fleeting second, something shifted within Damon.
He realized how much he valued her presence. He tried to push the thoughts aside, even forgetting about his revenge and coming back for her. He liked having her safe and around him. He tried to push his feelings down, but they persisted, growing stronger with each passing minute.
When she finished, she stood up and turned to leave the room. Damon reached out, grabbing her hand gently. "Little thing," he said, his voice softer than before. "I’m sorry for what happened. I didn’t know Benjamin would act that way."
Kyra looked down at their joined hands, then back up at him, her eyes becoming teary.
"Please, I don’t want to seduce him, Damon," she said, her voice trembling. "I can’t do that. If you don’t want to help me find my mates, I will leave..." Her eyes were wet, but she didn’t let her tears fall. "It’s been more than a two weeks, and I’m afraid they’re worrying about me. I don’t have time to play stupid games like seducing someone. You can take your revenge and find another female... I will not stay here."
With that, she turned to leave again. However, she was shocked when suddenly she was hugged from behind. Damon’s strong arms wrapped around her, holding her tightly.
"Little thing," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I’m sorry. I didn’t realize how much this was hurting you. I just... I thought it was the only way."
She stood still, feeling his warmth against her back, his breath hot on her neck. "Please, Damon," she said softly. "I need to find them. I can’t lose them."
Damon tightened his hold, burying his face in her hair. "I promise, I’ll help you find your mates. No more games, no more lies. Just... stay with me a little longer."
Kyra’s heart ached at his words. She could feel the sincerity in his voice, the desperation in his embrace. Slowly, she turned around in his arms, looking up at him.
This time she didn’t see any calculation or evilness in his eyes as she had before, but a sincere expression. She could sense that his feelings towards her had changed, but she didn’t dare to think too much about it.
"I am leaving," she said, breaking his hug and turning around to leave. She didn’t need his clothes or anything else because she had everything in her space capsule.
Damon’s eyes dimmed and his heart tightened.
"Oh yeah," Kyra suddenly turned towards him, causing his eyes to light up.
"Little thing..." he muttered.
"Please give me my necklace back," she said, and Damon’s hands clenched into fists.
He took off the necklace and handed it to her, seeing the determination in her eyes.
As she took the necklace from him, Kyra felt a mixture of relief and sadness. She had grown used to Damon’s presence, but she couldn’t ignore the need to find her mates. She turned to leave once more, but Damon’s voice stopped her.
"Kyra, wait," he said, his tone more desperate than before. "Please, don’t go."
She paused, her back still facing him. "Why should I stay, Damon? You asked me to do something I can’t, and I need to find my mates. They could be in danger."
Damon stepped closer, his heart pounding. "I know, and I’m sorry. I’ve been selfish. But I promise I’ll help you find them. Just... don’t leave like this. Give me a chance to make it right."
Kyra turned to face him, searching his eyes for any sign of deceit. All she saw was sincerity and regret. She hesitated.
"How do I know you mean it?" she asked.
