Chapter 167: Chapter 167 Fever

Kyra’s eyes softened with concern as she touched Damon’s cheeks. "You have a fever," she murmured, worry etched across her face. Despite being a powerful dragon, Damon was still a living being who could feel pain and fall ill. She touched his forehead again, feeling the heat radiate from him.

Damon, his mind foggy with fever, hugged Kyra tighter, his rough cheek pressing against hers. "Damon..." she muttered, looking at him. His eyes were closed, and his hands kept rubbing her back and arms as if seeking comfort.

Seeing him in such a state was heart-wrenching, and the cold was intensifying, the temperature dropping to minus 90 degrees.

Kyra quickly leaned Damon against the cave wall. As she tried to pull away, he gripped her wrist and pulled her close again.

"Little thing..." he muttered, his voice soft and feverish. "I like you..." His words were barely audible, but Kyra didn’t catch them. Her attention was suddenly drawn to her back, where her mark seemed to be glowing. She felt a sudden wave of anxiety and hoped Vincent was okay. She tried to soothe the glowing mark with her hand, feeling a warm sensation spread through her.

The anxiety slowly ebbed away, but her heart ached with longing. "What happened to you, Vincent?" she thought, her eyes growing sadder. She missed them all, missed cuddling with her fluffy wolf, missed being in Vincent’s arms and blushing at his teasing words. She missed everyone.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but she blinked them away, focusing on the present. Damon needed her now.

Kyra activated her space capsule, And put in the cave. She gently placed Damon’s hands around her neck, trying to support his weight and guide him inside. But he was so heavy that she almost fell, struggling to keep both of them steady.

With great effort, she managed to pull Damon into the capsule, securing him inside. She could feel his feverish breath against her neck, his weight pressing down on her as she finally got him to the bed. Exhausted, she collapsed beside him, catching her breath.

Kyra brushed the hair from his forehead, feeling the heat radiating from him. "You’ll be okay, Damon." she whispered softly, hoping he could hear her. She searched through her supplies for anything that might help with his fever, finding a small cloth and some water.

Dipping the cloth in the water, she gently wiped Damon’s face, cooling him down as best as she could. His eyes flickered open briefly, and she smiled reassuringly at him. "You’re going to be okay," she murmured again.

Kyra covered Damon with a thick blanket, ensuring he was warm and secure. She lay beside him, watching his face intently. Every breath he took, every slight movement, she noticed, her heart pounding with worry.

She didn’t dare close her eyes, fearing that his fever might return. She gently placed her hand on his forehead, feeling the warmth still radiating from him. He seemed more peaceful now, his breathing steady, but she remained vigilant.

As the snow storm continued to howl outside, Kyra found herself lost in thought. She remembered the warmth and safety she felt with Vincent and Lucas, the way they protected her and made her feel loved. She missed them terribly, and the ache in her heart was almost unbearable.

She looked at Damon, his face softened in sleep. Despite everything, there was a vulnerability about him that tugged at her heart. She couldn’t deny the growing bond between them, even if it complicated everything.

Brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead, Kyra took in Damon’s rugged face. His facial features were sharp.

His lips were a light shade of pink, contrasting against his skin.

Her eyes traced the line of his strong jaw, down to his neck where his Adam’s apple bobbed gently with each breath.

The sight of him so vulnerable, yet so strikingly masculine, stirred something deep within her.

Hours passed, and Kyra stayed awake, her eyes never leaving Damon.

The storm outside began to wane.

She wrapped the blanket more tightly around them, ensuring they stayed warm.

Finally, after a long time, Damon seemed more stable, and Kyra let out a sigh of relief. She rested her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat, finding comfort in its steady rhythm.

Despite her exhaustion, she tried to stay awake, but she didn’t know when she fell asleep in his arms. As she drifted off, his muscular arms instinctively wrapped around her, pulling her closer.

Damon woke up and immediately noticed the soft, fragrant body in his arms. He slowly looked down at Kyra and noticed her red locks spread over his chest, her cheeks so close to his heart. Her hands held his arm, one innocently curled around his d**k.

He closed his eyes tightly, taking a deep breath. His breathing became heavier and messier, and suddenly, he felt himself growing hard. The sensation was overwhelming, and he struggled to maintain control.

Desperate to keep his composure, he carefully shifted his position, trying not to wake her. But the more he tried to move away, the more she clung to him, her warmth and softness making it even harder to control his reactions.

Damon knew he had to get up and create some distance, but part of him didn’t want to let go. He gently brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, his fingers lingering on her soft skin. She stirred slightly, her lips parting as she snuggled closer to him. 𝘯𝘰𝑣𝘱𝑢𝘣.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"Little thing," he whispered, his voice hoarse with desire and frustration. "You have no idea what you’re doing to me."

Kyra murmured something in her sleep, her hand tightening its grip on his arm.

Suddenly, Damon noticed an unfamiliar surrounding.

His eyes became vigilant as he looked around, his body tensing with alertness.

Kyra woke up, feeling Damon tense. "What happened?" she asked, her voice low with sleep.

Damon’s eyes were sharp as he scanned the surroundings. "Where are we?" he asked, his voice low and cautious.

Kyra’s head started pounding as she woke up completely.
