Chapter 215: Chapter 215 Movie time
From the transparent walls of the space capsule, the view of the falling snow, the tranquil lake, and the surrounding forest was nothing short of magical.
The scene felt surreal and dreamy.
Kyra gazed out, a smile on her lips, feeling like she was in a dream. Sharing this moment with three incredibly gergeous men, surrounded by the beauty of the snowy landscape, made everything seem perfect.
"You cook great, Damon! I want to hire you in my restaurant," Lucas exclaimed, breaking the comfortable silence.
Damon raised an eyebrow, puzzled but ingested. "Sure," he said, unsure of what a restaurant was but willing to consider it.
"My restaurant and food are definitely going to be more famous than they already are," Lucas continued happily, savoring every bite of the delicious meal.
"Oh my god!" Lucas laughed. "Even though you don’t cook quite as well as me, this was fantastic! If you stayed with us, I’d let you cook every single day."
The atmosphere tensed momentarily as everyone processed Lucas words.
Damn! This wolf was too easy to please!
Vinecnt shot a glare at Lucas, his displeasure evident. The subtle implication that if Damon became Kyra’s mate, he would always be the one cooking didn’t sit well with him.
Kyra felt the need to ease the awkwardness. "I’m just happy we’re all together, enjoying this moment," she said, her voice warm and sincere.
Vinecnt’s expression softened slightly, though he remained quiet, his gaze lingered on Kyra.
Damon’s sharp eyes flashed as he observed Lucas. The wolf seemed easy to fool, and with Vinecnt preparing for hibernation, Damon didn’t see Lucas as any real threat to him.
After lunch, Kyra stood up and announced, "Let’s watch a movie together." Everyone followed her lead and stood up as well.
Damon looked around, puzzled. He didn’t know what a movie was.
"Oh my god! Finally, after so long, I’m going to watch a movie!" Lucas exclaimed with enthusiasm, practically bouncing with joy. If he were in his wolf form, his tail would likely be wagging in excitement.
"What’s a movie?" Damon asked, still confused.
"You’ll find out soon enough," Lucas said, wrapping an arm around Damon’s shoulder.
Damon stiffened, his eyes narrowing slightly as he examined Lucas’s side profile.
If it weren’t for Kyra, Damon would have thrown Lucas into a corner already. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to maintain a calm expression. He would wait and see how he could deal with this wolf and the snake. Kyra was only his, and he wasn’t about to share her with anyone.
As they entered the movie theater area, everyone settled into plush seats. Damon gritted his teeth when he saw that Lucas and Vinecnt had taken the seats on either side of Kyra. Reluctantly, he sat next to Lucas.
"What should we watch today?" Kyra asked, turning on the screen and using the remote to browse options.
She scrolled through the selections, searching for something interesting. When she didn’t find anything appealing, she noticed a poster featuring a couple and, assuming it was a romantic movie, selected "The Lucky Men" without much thought. She started the movie and turned off the lights.
Damon’s eyes widened in surprise as the screen lit up with lifelike images. He couldn’t believe such things even existed. He looked at Kyra with a mix of shock and curiosity, realizing she was even more mysterious than he had thought, with many secrets.
The movie was set in a modern world, showcasing large buildings, cars, and houses. Vinecnt and Lucas watched in awe.
Lucas, ever curious, was full of questions. "What’s that thing?" he asked, pointing to a sleek device on the screen.
"It’s a coffee machine," Kyra explained.
"And that?" Lucas asked, pointing to another gadget.
"That’s a tablet," Kyra said, smiling at their curiosity.
As the movie played on, Damon couldn’t tear his eyes away from the screen. The modern setting was so unlike anything he was used to, and the lifelike quality of the images was almost mesmerizing. He glanced occasionally at Kyra, who was absorbed in the movie, her eyes reflecting the glow of the screen.
Lucas was practically vibrating with excitement, his curiosity uncontainable.
Vinecnt, who was usually more reserved, leaned closer to her. "And what’s that thing with the long arm?" he inquired, his eyes wide with wonder.
"That’s a vacuum cleaner," Kyra said, chuckling softly. "It cleans the floors."
The movie continued, showing scenes of bustling city life, crowded streets, and markets.
Lucas, Damon and Vinecnt were engrossed, their eyes darting between the screen and Kyra as they eagerly awaited her explanations.
As the movie began, the camera focused on a female lead named Ava.
"Your world has so many beautiful females," Lucas remarked, his gaze lingering on the characters.
Kyra’s tone turned sharp. "Oh? Do you like any of them?" Her voice carried a hint of jealousy.
"Of course! There are so many beautiful females," Lucas replied with a smirk, clearly enjoying the reaction he was provoking.
"Ouch!" Lucas yelped as Kyra pinched his cheek, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
She knows the wolf is teasing her, and she’s determined to tease him right back.
"Dare to look at another female, and I’ll pinch your cheeks until you’re a tomato!" Kyra warned, her voice playful but firm.
Vinecnt, observing the playful exchange, gently took Kyra’s hand and kissed it softly. "No one is more beautiful than you, Rainbow. Ignore this wolf."
Kyra blushed deeply, her cheeks reddening at Vinecnt’s tender gesture. Her anger shifted to amusement as she tried to maintain her serious aura.
Lucas attempt to act cute, rubbing his palm with hers and showing big, pitiful eyes, only made her smile.
’They’re so annoying,’ Damon thought, his eyes cold as he watched the interactions unfold.
As the movie progressed, the scene shifted to introduce the male lead. Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit, he exuded an aura of cold sophistication. Tall and ruthless, he was none other than the Mafia King and a powerful businessman within the film.
