Chapter 346: Chapter 346 Date With Silas (1)

In the afternoon, Kyra decided to take little Toma and everyone else to her space capsule for some much-needed relaxation. Toma, with his wide green eyes, looked around in pure wonder, taking in the futuristic and cozy space. He eagerly ran around, exploring every corner, his excitement bubbling over.

To keep him entertained, Kyra turned on a children’s movie, Stuart Little. As the screen lit up with the tiny mouse’s adventures, Toma sat down, completely engrossed, his little hands clapping in delight. But to Kyra’s surprise, Lucas seemed to be enjoying the movie even more than Toma. He watched Stuart Little with such fascination, laughing and making comments about the mouse’s bravery.

At one point, Lucas stood up, crossing his arms with a serious expression. "I’ve decided," he announced, "I’ll never treat rat Beastmen badly again. Not after seeing this."

Kyra couldn’t help but burst into laughter at his dramatic declaration. "It’s just a movie, Luca," she teased, wiping a tear from her eye. But Lucas wasn’t budging; he seemed genuinely moved by the story.

Meanwhile, Damon and Silas watched the whole thing with amused smiles, finding Lucas’s sudden change of heart about rodents highly entertaining. Even Oceanus, who was usually calm and composed, chuckled at Lucas’s newfound respect for rats.

As the movie went on, Toma curled up next to Kyra, resting his head on her lap. His small body relaxed as he dozed off, worn out from the excitement of the day. Kyra gently stroked his hair, her heart swelling with affection for the little boy and the peaceful moment they were all sharing.

It was a rare moment of quiet and happiness for their family, and Kyra felt an overwhelming sense of contentment, grateful for the lightheartedness and love.

In the evening, as everyone began preparing for the meal, Kyra decided to turn off the space capsule and head in outside. But as soon as she stepped outside, a wave of nausea hit her, and she quickly rushed to the bathroom.

The feeling was overwhelming, and before she knew it, she was hunched over, vomiting.

Silas, noticing her sudden departure, followed her quietly. Without saying a word, he knelt beside her and gently patted her back, offering silent comfort. Kyra, her eyes teary from the nausea, glanced up at him. They hadn’t spent much time together recently, and in this vulnerable moment, his presence felt surprisingly comforting. Before she could even thank him, another wave of sickness hit, and she started vomiting again.

Silas stayed with her, patiently waiting until the nausea subsided. When it finally did, Kyra leaned back against the wall, exhausted and pale. She felt weak and wasn’t sure she could manage to eat dinner, but she knew she had to. Not eating wasn’t an option, especially with the baby.

Silas helped her up, his hand warm on her back as they returned to the kitchen. Despite her lack of appetite, Kyra forced herself to sit at the table. Damon, Vincent, Oceanus and Lucas, concerned, looked over at her as she slowly took a few bites. The food was delicious, but she could barely taste it. Still, she ate what she could, knowing it was important for her and the baby’s health.

"Take your time," Silas said quietly, sitting across from her, his eyes soft with concern.

Kyra gave him a small, grateful smile, feeling a little better with everyone around. Even though she didn’t want to eat, she knew she had to be strong—for herself and for the little life growing inside her.

As the night deepened, Silas remained by Kyra’s side.

Despite her feeling down, his gentle kisses on her forehead and soft caresses over her baby bump made her smile. She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head on his chest.

"You’re so warm," she whispered softly, gazing into his golden eyes, which seemed to glow like the sun in the dim room.

His eyes darkened with a playful glint. "Wanna know where else I’m warm?" he murmured huskily in her ear, his voice deep and teasing.

Kyra immediately flushed beet red, embarrassed yet amused. "Don’t be naughty..." she muttered, playfully swatting his chest. She quickly changed the subject, trying to hide her blush. "Actually, we haven’t spent much time together. We should go on a date... just the two of us, you know? Spend some time together."

Silas smiled, clearly pleased with the idea. "A date, huh? I’d like that," he replied, pressing a tender kiss to her neck while hugging her closer.

As he held her, his golden eyes flickered with a hidden intensity. Thoughts ran through his mind, ones he would never voice aloud. ’You have no idea, my love, what I can and will do for you...’ he thought darkly. ’I destroyed Emerald Bay ghost eye organisation for you. I killed the female who dared to hurt you. I left behind everything just to be with you. And I don’t regret a single thing...’

Kyra’s soft touch on his waist broke through his thoughts, and he glanced down to see her eyes fluttering shut, her breathing slowing as she drifted into sleep. He exhaled quietly, tightening his arms around her as if to shield her from the world.

As she slept peacefully in his arms, he breathed in her familiar scent, grounding himself in her presence.

Silas absentmindedly played with Kyra’s fingers as she slept, her soft breaths steady and peaceful. He, on the other hand, was wide awake, his mind restless. His golden eyes flickered as they traced over her sleeping form, imagining where his mark would be on her body. The thought made his blood rush with anticipation—he couldn’t wait to claim her, to leave his mark and make sure everyone knew she was his.

But there was something else lingering beneath the surface—a pang of jealousy he couldn’t quite shake off. Hearing her moans and groans earlier, the unmistakable sounds of her with Damon... it stirred something primal in him. He clenched his jaw just thinking about it. As much as he tried to ignore it, he couldn’t help but feel possessive.
