Jing Haohao had been searching for a long while before she found a stone. When she picked it up, she discovered a red string attached to it. She carefully examined it for a moment before realizing that this stone was not one of the three she and Liang Chen had chosen from the Stone Story.
She stared at the stone, her brows creasing slightly. A slow understanding began to dawn on her. She clenched the stone in her hand and continued to search in the grass. After about half an hour, Jing Haohao found all the stones.
There were five stones in total, three of which she had chosen to wear on her wrist, and two more were pendants… Presumably, these were the New Year’s gifts Liang Chen had prepared for her on the first day of the Lunar year. Knowing the rumor that the Stone Story could separate two people, she had thrown them all away in anger.
