Reality itself seemed to erase along the path of the God Slaying Sword's edge. Distant stars blinked out of existence. The fabric of space-time ruptured, leaving behind a scar that even the Realm of Chaos couldn't immediately mend.

The Devourer roared, throwing all its power into blocking the strike. Countless tendrils of darkness surged forward, weaving a shield of absolute consumption—

—and were annihilated on contact.

BOOOOOOM—!

The sword's edge carved straight through the Devourer's body, bisecting its form vertically. Black ichor—its lifeblood—sprayed into the void, evaporating into nothingness.

For a breathless moment, silence.

Then—

"ARRRRRGH—!"

The Devourer's scream shook the cosmos. Its two halves thrashed violently, trying to reform—but the wound refused to heal. Yun Lintian's perfected Chaos energy, combined with the God of Death's authority, had made the damage permanent.

It wasn't dead.

But it was broken.

The Devourer's remaining eye locked onto Yun Lintian, its voice no longer mocking—only shaken.

"You... what ARE you?"

Yun Lintian floated calmly, his sword still humming. "Your end, if you stand in my way again."

The Devourer's bisected form trembled in the void, its essence leaking into the abyss like black smoke. But then—

"MY END? HAHAHA!"

BOOOOOOM!

Space itself ruptured as the Devourer unleashed its final, desperate gambit. Its remaining eye burned with madness as it exploded outward, its form dissolving into countless writhing tendrils that latched onto the very fabric of reality.

The nearby Abyssal Rift shuddered—then began collapsing inward, its energy being forcibly consumed by the Devourer's ravenous hunger. Distant stars dimmed as their light was sucked into the growing vortex of annihilation.

"IF I CANNOT DEVOUR YOU..."

The Devourer's voice echoed across dimensions as its power swelled exponentially.

"...THEN I WILL DEVOUR EXISTENCE ITSELF!"

The entire sector of the Realm of Chaos began folding inward, space-time itself being torn apart by the Devourer's final, all-consuming assault.

Yun Lintian's white hair whipped violently in the gravitational storm. His mismatched eyes narrowed—this was beyond what even he had anticipated.

The Devourer wasn't just attacking him now.

It was trying to erase this entire region of reality to fuel its power.

A normal God would have fled.

Yun Lintian smiled.

"Finally serious?"

His body erupted with five-colored divine light—Azure Dragon, Divine Phoenix, Golden Crow, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger—all burning at maximum output. The God Slaying Sword in his hand thrummed with primordial energy, its obsidian edge gleaming like a fragment of the void itself.

"God Slaying Technique—"

Yun Lintian's voice cut through the chaos, calm yet absolute.

"—God Slayer."

He swung.

The blade moved slowly, yet also instantaneously—a paradox made manifest. Where it passed, reality ceased to exist. The Devourer's all-consuming vortex, the collapsing Abyssal Rift, even the very concept of space in its path—all were severed at the most fundamental level.

The Devourer's eye widened in true terror as it realized—

—this attack couldn't be devoured.

—this attack couldn't be blocked.

—this attack transcended all laws.

"NOOOOO—!"

The God Slayer technique struck.

There was no explosion. No grand collision.

Just... erasure.

Where the Devourer's form had been, now existed only emptiness. Its lower half had completely vanished, its remaining upper half flickering weakly like a dying candle. Black ichor leaked from its wounds, evaporating into the void.

It wasn't dead.

But it was finished.

Yun Lintian floated forward, his sword pointed at the Devourer's remaining eye. "Still hungry?"

The Devourer's form shuddered, its voice barely a whisper now.

"This... isn't... over... I… can…"

The void trembled as the Devourer's crippled form flickered weakly, its remaining eye burning with hatred. Yun Lintian raised his sword for the final strike—

Then—

"Kekekeke... What a delightful show."

A voice like grinding bones echoed through the abyss.

Yun Lintian's eyes snapped to the side—just in time to see space itself peel open, revealing an endless black maw lined with jagged teeth of crystallized nothingness.

Yin.

The Chasm of Uncreation.

The Devourer's eye widened in genuine terror.

"Y-YOU—!"

Before Yun Lintian could react, black tendrils shot from the maw, wrapping around the Devourer's broken form.

"NO! RELEASE ME—!"

The Devourer wailed, thrashing violently—but it was useless. Yin's grip was absolute.

"Thank you, little useful idiot," Yin mocked, its voice slithering through the void. "For tenderizing my meal."

Then—

CRUNCH.

The Devourer screamed—a sound that shook the fabric of reality—before being dragged into the maw and consumed whole.

Silence.

Yun Lintian's body moved before his mind could process it. The God Slaying Sword blazed with five-colored divine light as he lunged, aiming straight for Yin's core.

"Die."

The blade descended—

—and stopped.

Yin's maw split into a grin as a single, clawed finger caught the sword's edge, holding it effortlessly.

"Tsk tsk."

A shockwave erupted, sending Yun Lintian flying backward through the void like a leaf in a storm. His body tumbled uncontrollably before he stabilized, his mismatched eyes burning with surprise.

Yin chuckled, its voice dripping with amusement.

"After all that power... you're still weak."

Yun Lintian's grip tightened on his sword. He was genuinely shocked by Yin's strength. This was beyond the boundaries of the Primordial God already.

Yin's maw stretched wider, its teeth gleaming.

"Don't look so surprised. The Devourer was just an appetizer." It licked its jagged teeth mockingly. "You? You're the main course."

Yun Lintian's mind raced. Even with the power of the God of Death, he couldn't even contend with Yin, what he was supposed to do now?

But before he could attack again, Yin yawned, its form already fading into the void.

"But not today. I'll let you marinate a little longer."

Its laughter echoed as it vanished completely.

"Dance for me, boy. I'll be back... when you're ripe enough to eat."

Silence returned to the Realm of Chaos.

Yun Lintian floated alone, his sword still humming.

He genuinely had no idea how to deal with Yin in the future… Perhaps defeating the God of Time was the only way.

Yun Lintian took a deep breath to calm down and scanned the surroundings before moving forward, searching for the Haven…

Inside the secret realm, Ren Yuan's third eye snapped shut, his expression unreadable. Behind him, Chun Yue collapsed to her knees, her body trembling uncontrollably.

"M-Master... that was...!"

Ren Yuan's fingers twitched, his cold smile returning.

"Perfect."

He turned toward the swirling portal.

"The final act begins now."
