"Tch!" Lyu Bu looked down at Dian Wei with disdain, "If you can’t fly, just say you can’t fly, why the nonsense!"
Dian Wei was startled, then cursed vociferously—being able to fly was not normal at all! How many military generals in this world could fly? No more than the number of fingers on both hands and feet!
Lyu Bu, listening to Dian Wei’s vulgar tirade, grew even more sullen, and finally, with a cold glare, he sneered, "As you wish!"
The moment Lyu Bu spoke, he plummeted from the sky towards Dian Wei, with the Sky Piercer targeting Dian Wei’s head with an unstoppable momentum, locked on!
"Bring it on!" Dian Wei showed no intention to dodge at all, his hands firmly grasping his short halberd, his muscles fiercely bulging, as he smashed back at the plunging Sky Piercer!
"Boom!" A thunderous noise erupted, and within nearly a hundred meters of where Dian Wei stood, the ground was shattered; a wild gust swept through, leaving only Lyu Bu standing there. But in the next moment, Lyu Bu shot backwards with incredible speed, "Boom!" another explosive roar, and from the broken earth, a large hole burst open as Dian Wei leapt out and, using the force of the air, fiercely slashed towards Lyu Bu.
Lyu Bu dodged Dian Wei’s attack with a sneer, then counter-attacked, the Sky Piercer whirling into a blizzard of strikes, instantly making Dian Wei feel the lethal threat at every vital point on his body!
"Get away!" Dian Wei roared madly, clenching his two short halberds together and slamming them towards Lyu Bu, ready to trade blow for blow. If Lyu Bu didn’t dodge, he would be maimed if not killed!
"Hmph!" Lyu Bu slightly widened the distance between them, then started torturing Dian Wei with his long Sky Piercer. With Inner Qi projection, you could disregard the length of weapons, with or without it; short weapons, you’re courting death!
Before long, the two had exchanged over a hundred moves. Lyu Bu had already grasped Dian Wei’s fighting style; albeit grasped, Dian Wei’s immense strength still intimidated him. Despite the several wounds on Dian Wei’s body, Lyu Bu was very clear that such injuries would heal in mere seconds with Dian Wei’s recovery power. He could win by continuing the fight as Dian Wei had no means of long-range attack, and this alone was enough for Lyu Bu to suppress Dian Wei thoroughly. But Dian Wei’s speed and strength were not easy to deal with, and Lyu Bu knew it was definitely impossible to kill him in a short time!

Originally intent on pouncing to continue the fight, Dian Wei looked resentfully at Lyu Bu after hearing Cao Cao’s command. He now understood Lyu Bu’s strength clearly. Clearly, Dian Wei was extremely vexed about Lyu Bu being able to fly. The fight was going well, and then the other guy just took off into the air. Indeed he could jump around, but if he did it for too long, his speed would drop, and once that happened, he was as good as dead!
Thinking about this made Dian Wei look utterly sour. Not only could his opponent fly, but what was more aggravating was Lyu Bu’s speed being nearly identical to his own, even slightly superior when Lyu Bu burst forth with Inner Qi. The thought turned Dian Wei even grimmer. How on earth had this monster cultivated himself!
With his own firsthand experience, Dian Wei now felt even more frustrated about Zhao Zilong who fought Lyu Bu to a standstill in front of Hulao Pass and Huang Zhong who dueled with Lyu Bu for almost a month. Are these still humans? It really seems like the old saying goes: a large forest harbors all kinds of birds, and here I thought I was the strongest!
