Chapter 2338: Frozen in a Northern Village II
[Levin Cloud: Danger in the north. Bring Vayu and Soleil. Come to these coordinates. Help is urgently needed.]
Adrian is about to depart for the eastern continent when he suddenly received an urgent message from Levin Cloud. He knew that this was not a prank as all of the message looked like it was sent in a rush, or he was in state where he could not explain it. Adrian immediately called for Vayu and Soleil to check where they are as Levin Cloud told him that they were needed.
[Vayu: We are now using the teleportation scroll to return to Avalon.]
Vayu immediately told Adrian that they are now coming to Avalon but something inside of him felt like he needs to hurry up even more. Vayu and Soleil reached Avalon in about ten minutes as they used a Dimensional Teleportation Scroll that took time to activate since this is to ensure their safety upon arrival. As soon as they arrived, Adrian immediately asked them why Levin Cloud would need them.
"He told us that we would need to come to the northern continent to check on the people in a certain tribe. He believes that they are humans with the blood of the Frost Elemental King in their veins." Vayu stated.
"Frost Elemental King? There is now Frost Elemental King, Papa." Soleil stated as she knows all of the elemental kings in Alfheim.
"I have told you this before, but another Frost Elemental King cannot be easily born. There are barely any High Frost Elementals as elementals of powerful elemental states are only born every ten thousand years. Another reason could also be that the Frost Elemental King has yet to truly disappear which is why there is no replacement yet." Vayu stated.
"We can discuss this in the northern continent. Levin Cloud sent a sense of urgency while I could not contact Frey and Peridot. I am now extremely worried about them as something might have happened to them." Adrian stated as he ripped apart the dimension to create an instant portal that led to the specific coordinates that Levin Cloud gave him.
==
Adrian appeared in the exact coordinates given by Levin Cloud and the sight made him drop his jaw. He saw Frey frozen in a cage while Peridot is frozen in her dragon form. They were not the only ones frozen, but they are the only ones that Adrian really cared to check. He then started to look for Levin Cloud, but he could not see his frozen stature.
"Who are you!?" A young-looking warrior shouted at Adrian while he held a sword.
Adrian looked at the young warrior that is now trembling before him. There are other warriors or rather children wearing armor behind this young warrior. It seems that he is the oldest amongst them which is why he took the lead despite the fear he is feeling.
"Your aura is scaring them, big brother." Soleil stated as she came out of the rift after Adrian.
"So, this is the northern continent. It is indeed cold, but the place is devoid of energy beneficial for elementals." Vayu stated as he also arrived.
"Apologies for scaring you. I am Equinox. Champion of the Twin Gods. Can you explain what happened here?" Adrian stated as he safely closed the rift that he created forcefully.
"How sure are we that you are not evil people!" The young warrior stated in a stutter as he is still afraid despite Adrian recalling his menacing aura earlier.
"A fine young warrior. You will become a strong one if you grow up. Still, a warrior must also know when to use his head." Vayu stated as he suddenly appeared next to the young warrior and eased him.
"Papa, are they like us?" Soleil asked as she could feel it to. 𝖓𝔬𝔳𝔭𝔲𝔟.𝖈𝖔𝔪
The children before them had the blood of the elementals running in them. Vayu and Soleil immediately recognized them as they felt like them but a bit different. The Elemental Kings told Vayu and Soleil that their existence is special since there are rarely half elementals born into the world.
"No, it seems that an Elemental King has blessed them and shared part of their power to their ancestors. This flowed to their descendants, but they are not like us that are half elementals. They have a small fraction of elemental blood running in their veins, but this is due to a blessing ritual that only an Elemental King can do." Vayu stated as the children relaxed due to his presence as if something in their blood told them to become calm.
"Champion Equinox! We are trapped here!" A voice from the ice dome suddenly shouted and Adrian heard it.
"The wood elves that came with Levin Cloud! Can you help them, Soleil? In fact, extend all of your help and release them from this Permafrost. Only your flames could thaw them without harming them." Adrian told Soleil.
"If big brother says so then I shall do it. Let us go, Reguchan and Kitsuchan!" Soleil stated as she called upon the flame elementals that follow her.
Soleil suddenly rose to the air as she created a large ball of flame that looked like the sun. The two elementals that follows her made sure to control the heat so that all the beings affected by Permafrost are heated up. The ice that covered the entire field started to melt and all of the people affected by Permafrost started to thaw as well.
The first to thaw was none other than Peridot as she immediately burned her body as soon as the effects of the Permafrost were lifted from her. She was about to rampage, but she noticed that the enemies were no longer there. She looked for Levin Cloud but did not see him which made Adrian worry that she might lose control. Thankfully, she composed herself immediately as if she read a message and then helped Soleil in releasing everyone from the Permafrost.
