NOVPUBLevin Cloud got sent out of the sunscious realm hosted by the Winter Tree and the Frost Elemental King. He already knew that they were planning to end all things here as the being that is stirring up thentamination below the Winter Tree is trying to weaken them. A human that looked incredibly skinny with clothes that looked like he is a eunuch from the easternntinent.
"What is taking so long, Eternally Starving One?" The Frost High Elf Mage Leader asked as she was waiting for the moment the Winter Tree has fully weakened to activate the magic circle that swaps Levin Cloud's body in it as antrol mechanism.
"There is fierce resistance to my powers, elf. This is still a divine tree we are dealing with and any type of interference from beings that are not divine themselves is difficult." The Primordial Beast of Gluttony stated even though the real reason is that he has weakened and has to focus more in using his own powers.
"Levin Cloud, prepare yourself for theld." A voice suddenly filled the head of Levin Cloud. 𝑛𝘰𝑣𝑝𝑢𝑏.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"Hey, you! What are you trying to do to me!?" Levin Cloud shouted as heuld speak but his upper and lower body is frozen.
"Oh! To think that the foolish Forest Guardian has awakened. Telling you will not do anything as you do not need to know what is happening. Just know that your sacrifice will be the thing that saves the Frost Elf species. Be a good ancestor and sacrifice for your descendants." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader stated as she laughed.
"Is that so? All of you abandoned your duties to protect the Winter Tree because of your stupid hunger for power. If all of you tended to your duties, then power would naturallyme to you." Levin Cloud stated as heuld feel theld energy of the Winter Tree slowly creeping from behind him.
"What does a Faekin know?! You are the chosen race that can live for eternity and gather power! Unlike us that only live for a minuscule amount of timempared to all of you. All of you are beings thatuld easily share your power to us but all of you just watch us from afar because you know our lives are definite." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader exclaimed.
"That is exactly the reason why all of you elves cannot live for eternity. Despite living longer than other races, you crave for what races that are longer lived than you have. It seems that protecting the Winter Tree has clouded all of your minds and forgotten that your purpose was to guard it to protect life." Levin Cloud answered.
"Protect the Winter Tree when it cursed us to forever be in theseld lands. How can we protect something that has already abandoned us. Even we cannot produce children because of the curse that even chills our ability to reproduce." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader stated with rage.
"All that rage and you all know the reason for it. You are just mad that you cannot do what you wanted. All of you wished that the ritual was successful and that the distorted god descends. All of you have brought this curse upon your species." Levin Cloud stated and the Frost High Elf Mage Leader smiled like a madwoman.
"Oh! It seems that you havenversed with the Winter Tree seeing that you knew of the deal with the distorted god. I would have used the pitifulnditions of our race to allure you into helping us but that seems to have been crushed by the Winter Tree. Still, the fact that you know of this means that you havenversed and met the Winter Tree is a good thing. It means that you will be perfect to replace them once this ritual is over." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader exclaimed in glee.
"This ritual will not succeed though. All of you did not aunt for one thing." Levin Cloud stated.
"Your empty ramblings will not save you from the fate that awaits you." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader stated innfidence.
"I am not rambling about empty things though. All of you have been cursed for too long that you have also forgotten that the Winter Tree is also a living being. Divine in a sense but it also lives in the mortal realm alongside us. The fact that it has not been tended for quite a long time means that it is ready to die." Levin Cloud stated as the Primordial Beast of Gluttony that wasntrolling thentamination suddenly charged towards Levin Cloud.
"What did you do?!" The Primordial Beast of Gluttony stated.
"Careful! We need him alive for what is about tome next." The Frost High Elf Mage Leader shouted as she used a spell to protect Levin Cloud from being hit by the Primordial Beast of Gluttony.
"I did not do anything." Levin Cloud answered truthfully.
"You have done something! Thentamination! The hunger it feels cannot bentrolled by me because it is replaced by another primal emotion!" The Primordial Beast of Gluttony stated.
"What do you mean you cannotntrol it!? How are we going to weaken it when you cannot do this simple thing! We had a deal that you must adhere to!" The Frost High Elf Mage Leader stated as the two other Frost High Elves seems to have caught wind of themmotion.
"What is happening?" The Frost High Elf Warrior Leader asked.
"Something is happening to the Winter Tree." The Primordial Beast of Gluttony stated.
"Levin Cloud, it is time. May you help these lands for the uming winter that is tome." The Winter Tree stated as it suddenly used every ounce of life force that it had.
"I hope all of you likes theld." Levin Cloud stated as he smiled but the scene behind him elicited horror to those thatuld see it.
The Winter Tree that just looked like a tree made of ice suddenly shined bright. It is not just the Winter Tree but also the ice sculptures that were beside it. The Frost High Elves felt it in their bodies as the curse of the Winter Tree heightened that they had to kneel on the snow. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony seemed to have an idea of what is happening which is why it called upon the beasts that itntrols to fetch it, but it was too late.
A powerful flash of white light exploded as the Winter Tree turned into a powerful frozen shockwave thatvered the entire landscape around it in ice. This explosion of power is also not just felt in the area near it, but the entire northernntinent felt this energy. The shockwave from the death of the Winter Tree was not the end as this only started or marked a new era for the northernntinent.

Notifications about the northernntinent suddenly started to pile up as numerous calamities and emerging dangers started to sprout up. It seems that the Winter Tree did not only reduce the effects of theld, but it was also responsible for holding back the fierce monsters of old that were sealed in the northernntinent. It is not just the monsters that were released but also the fierceld winds of the northernntinent doubled in power.
"Crap! You did not tell me about the sealed primordial beast." Levin Cloud thought as he was frozen in ice alongside all of the beings that were in the area where the Winter Tree exploded.
The entire Frost Elf village becamevered in ice as if they are an ice sculpture. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony was even caught up in it but the frozen being suddenly opened his eyes. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony suddenly used up some of the energy it has on its body to create a powerful heat that melted the ice that froze it. It took about ten minutes, but the Primordial Beast of Gluttony managed to create enough heat to save itself.
"This plan is already a failure! I was supposed to eat up all their hunger for myself. Even the energy of that distorted god lost purpose when the Winter Tree destroyed itself! Maybe I can at least take there of the tree as it might be there!" The Primordial Beast of Gluttony muttered as it went to the center of the village where the Winter Tree was before, but he found nothing.
"Nothing!" The Primordial Beast of Gluttony shouted as his body started to shiver because of theld.
"I used up my precious energy, yet I get nothing in return! I should at least take this as myllection before going." The Primordial Beast of Gluttony stated as he created a dark orb ofntaminated energy from the poison that hurt the Winter Tree.
