NOVPUBDespite his announcement, the brawl of the two village chiefs did not stop. The guards wanted to stop them, but they know that they are not as powerful as the two and needed to reserve their strength. Seeing that the two were not listening or rather ignored him, Adrian prompted to do this the heavy-handed way.
One would think that a demon would suddenly join in and then the brawl will become a three person fight but Adrian is not like that. At least he is not like that when his battle junkie side does not kick in. Adrian proceeded to create a portal beneath their feet and proceeded to open the other end about two hundred meters up in the sky. All of the village chiefs saw the two unruly ones vanish from the floor and shivered as they looked at the demon before them.
"AAAHHH!"
The sound of two large men shouting at the top of their lungs while falling from a height did not sound pretty. The two of them thought that they could ignore the demon as the winner between the both of them could just battle him later. What they did not expect is that both of them being caught in a spatial anomaly and transported to the skies above. The people of the north rarely interacted with the Daemos and only stories of them circle about which led to them not believing their powers as much.
"Harsh but effective." Ain stated as he stood next to Adrian.
"The only way to tame two muscle brained idiots is to make sure that they cannot use their muscles." Adrian answered casually as he turned his head back towards the two falling village chiefs. 𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑝𝘶𝘣.𝑐𝘰𝘮
"Are you not going to save them? They are still our allies!" One of the people related to one of the village chiefs shouted.
"He is right!" another person added.
"So, now all of you have voices? What happened to using those voices earlier and stopping such childish feuds against your village chiefs? Do you not know what we are facing against? We are facing against a primordial beast. Not one but potentially two of them at the same time." Adrian stated which made all the rowdy warriors calm down.
"We are going to die!" The two village chiefs shouted as they could not control their body in the air as much as they thought.
Adrian shook his head and then proceeded to snap his fingers as the two suddenly stopped just before they crashed to the ground. They were about two meters above the ground when they were frozen in time. Adrian held his hands and absorbed any remaining force that the two village chiefs have before snapping his fingers again. When Adrian snapped his fingers, the two village chiefs crashed to the ground with a light thud.
"What just happened?!" The village chief with a bear cloak stated as he touched his body to make sure that he was still in one piece.
"I am actually alive." The village chief with a mammoth cloak shouted in joy.
"I hope that is enough of a lesson for both of you." Adrian stated and was about to walk away when two powerful bursts of energy came from behind him.
A blast of aura suddenly headed towards Adrian's face when Ain intercepted it with his palm. The two village chiefs did not learn their lesson and actually shifted their anger towards Adrian. They were utterly humiliated, and they wanted to humiliate Adrian in return. The two village chiefs even riled up their warriors to deal with Adrian as well.
"You dare humiliate me! Warriors, with me!" The mammoth cloaked village chief shouted.
"I will make sure to break your bones! I was only caught by surprise, but it is different now! Teach the demon a lesson, my warriors!" The bear cloaked village chief added.
The two village chiefs and warriors got riled up and thought that they would be able to take down Adrian. What they did not know is that they were surrounded by his guild members. As soon as Adrian was disrespected, the killing intent of all the Pantheon guild members that are still in the kingdom skyrocketed. Ain suddenly felt chills in his skin as this was the first time that his special skill Fox Instincts told him to actually run away.
"I am the one in charge here so all of you have to follow what I say." Adrian announced without any pretense.
"Do you think we will listen to you just because those guards tell us you are the one given the authority!? You were only given authority because we were not present earlier! If we were then the Ice Queen will definitely give it to one of us." The mammoth cloaked village chief stated as he attempted to also have the other village chiefs to rally under him.
"I have no time for this." Adrian stated in an exhausted tone as his presence suddenly shifted from nothing to extremely heavy.
All of a sudden, the killing intent of the Pantheon guild members were cancelled out as Adrian released his own aura that he usually keeps sealed. All the people before him suddenly kneeled not because of reverence but their bodies suddenly became ten times heavier. There was no distinction against this overbearing force as it affected both friend and foe. The two village chiefs in question were basically kissing the ground as Adrian targeted them specifically and the others around them were just collateral damage.
"I can arrange a very comfy icy prison for the both of you if you want. I can have the Ice Queen deal with you once she wakes up but until then I am in charge." Adrian's voice sounded the same, but the intent felt like an entire planet was crushing down on you.
"Keugh! I… surrender." The mammoth cloaked village chief stated with great difficulty as he felt his body getting squashed meanwhile the bear cloaked village chief already passed out from the pressure.
