Although Loimos tended to mostly state the benefits ofnquering realms as being, training for the minor lords as leaders and also the addition of more potential ways of power and things such as the black fog, there was perhaps even a greater point of interest amongst all of it…

As death progressed, life pushed back harder, thus slowing the empire's expansion, now that theynquered a sndntinent, that gruellingly slow progress had bme a near stop, advancing by pushing the miasma forward would make even a few dozen of meters take years to reach.

Ofurse, there was a solution to this problem, although life pushed back against the miasma, there was a way to force a large area to fall under death's domain, life existed in the air, but it mostly existed within beings, the fauna and flora, as such, when they hunted down livings andnverted them to undeath, the life in the immediate area would weaken.

When it came to advancing the royal miasma, it wasn't of much importance as livings were keeping or even overwhelming the amount of death by procreating, they were also learning to avoid the undead entirely, the monstrosities of the deep that would normally attack ships with extreme prejudice, had learned to restrain themselves, aware that a threat greater than themselves was to be found upon those ships.

Ofurse, this only extended to those near the edges of the miasma, but it was enough.

If they went further away into the oceans, the undeads would be either beset by more calculated attacks, or instead eunter creatures thatuld truly take them on, and that without the support of being near the empire's miasma.

As such, Loimos was planning on using islands and realms instead, thenfined environment of bothuld allow for undeads cull the living population and thus create a sort of vacuum effect that would allow for miasma and death force to rapidly invest a large area in spite of life's resistance, islands worked a bit but tended to lack the amount of livings or size to be truly effective.

Realms on the other hand, theyuld truly be used effectively, by making sure that the realms remainedmpletely shut off from the outside as the empire worked within, theyuldmpletely saturate a realm with death and miasma before suddenly allowed a portion of it to suddenly pour out, the sheer amount being released from what appears to be a minuscule point would be capable of overwhelming the area and instantly bring it under undeadntrol.

If that was done enough, Loimos predicted that they would be capable of easily linking these pockets of miasma to the main territory, surrounding areas of life from all sides and thus more easily engulfing them into the empire.

The champion was well aware that this mostly depended on theordinates of many realms to be possible, but he was alsounting on the researchers and scholars led by Unacunerra trying to diver realms to be capable of opening ways into some and simply placing them at strategic areas.

It sounded a bit insane and would inevitably take quite some time as well asnquering a realmuld get incredibly difficult, especially if more like that one bathed in emerald light existed.

Loimos's plan to draft livings was just budding, the only place to source soldiers from being the island were Ridfoirn's realm was situated, and those people did not exactly look like good soldiers, at least not in their current state.

However, whilst some plans were frozen in place, other objectives were met or progressing steadily, such as the research into the four new ways of power, specifically orderly ranks had reached a greater form, the general had participated a bit himself into this one. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝘣.𝘤𝘰𝑚

It was soon that orderly ranks would be unleashed over the whole empire, the first and most important form of it, aimed toward boosting everything about the undead nation, being an already upgraded form of what Alisart Cleavster had provided to them, and the ruler of this empire-wide orderly ranks would obviously be King Nitok himself.

When it was allowed to get to work, nothing impressive happened, no bright lights, explosions or surge of any kind, it was a silent and inspicuous way of power after all, it took a few hours for it to seemingly start functioning, as Loimos sensed an increase to his power after that time.

As an important figure, he was receiving quite a noticeable, personal benefit right from the get-go, but it would mostly show its prowess when armies of the dead wouldme together to fight.

Already, it was a great step, but it was only the first asuntless, smaller variations were already in the process of being made, it was in that department that Loimos had actually focused when working on orderly ranks, creating variants for the minor lords and their personal forces.

It was the last thing they would receive, and it was a sign that it was finally time for them to get to work.

The first to depart was Yuolrt, already preparedmpletely with The Arbor, her mission would not be taking her to another realm, but to the most mysteriousntinent of all, Verdoyante, as such, she would be remaining in directntact throughout the operation, although her mission greatly differed from the others, it was no less important, if not more-so as thentinent of supposedly nothing but plant life was an utterly unknown quantity.

And as undeads, they knew very well to be wary of the unknown, as it was one of death's aspects.

Her job was to shed light on the hidden dangers of thisntinent, turn what had mercilessly swallowed the previous explorers into something tangible.

Right after her, it was Ourlon who departed, his own realm was the closest one being situated on an island not too far from Belliste, apart from the troops that he had himself trained, the nightbirds were also of the party, as well as Saliana, who was naturally aligned with Tochi as well.

Although not too severe, this realm was indeedmbative against death, and he would thus have to engage in somewhat of a more traditional sort of warfare as it was battle arts that ruled supreme in there.

All of the others left at about the same time following this, each granted a ship capable of stealthily take them to their sometimes faraway destinations, all ignited by a strong desire to prove themselves and earn Loimos's rgnition, they weren't simply planning in fulfilling their missions, they were intending onmpleting them in the best possible manner.

Each would be ampanied by an undead whose job was to move in and out of the realm to give reports back to Loimos, asmmunication devices wouldn't work when inside of a realm, at least, none of the ones they currently had available.

So while the generalntinued to work toward his goals, he would be well informed of anything that was happening, every minute details, every obstacle, every decision, every victory, every defeat.

Well, at least until he decided to challenge a realm for himself…
