Chapter 555: Meeting the Members of The Eternal Wrath (1) [Bonus]

Kent spent a few hours resting. When he had had enough rest, he dressed up and went to meet his legion.

Kaizo and his team were back from their last dungeon runs, so when they returned, all of them, along with some new faces, were training inside the legion tower.

However, not all of them were training outside. There were eight portals leading to eight dungeons, so some had entered and were battling monsters there instead.

His main undead legion was present, and the new faces were the eight dungeon bosses he had added to his legion.

When he appeared, Kaizo was the first to notice him.

"Master, are we going on another mission?" he asked, making everyone aware their master had arrived. They immediately stopped all they were doing and surrounded him.

"There is something different about you," Sylara, the one-eyed demoness, said, sniffing Kent. Aside from the obvious scent of his having had sex with his wife, Sylara seemed to sense something else.

"Your blood... it has become more powerful, and from the smell, very sweet. I would like a taste, Master," she said, and Kent could only shake his head.

"Why not?" He gave her his arm, and Sylara wasted no time taking a bite. When the first drop of blood entered her mouth, her body shuddered, releasing a powerful energy.

She dragged a mouthful of blood before letting go of his arm.

Kent looked at where she bit, and to his surprise, it had healed up.

"Your blood—it’s both sweet, full of energy, and there’s something else about it I just can’t understand," Sylara said, savoring the bite.

"I recently comprehended Chaos energy, so I think that’s the other thing."

His legion stood there staring at him. The way he said it casually made them wonder if he knew what this meant. However, the clueless Kaizo didn’t let them ponder it further.

"Master is awesome, we all know that. However, are we going on a new mission?" he asked, and Kent shook his head.

"We will go on the mission soon. I just came to check up on our new guests," Kent said, staring at the eight dungeon bosses.

"You guys are powerful. Care to introduce yourselves?" Kent asked. "By the way, I am Kent Madson, the one who summoned all eight of you."

"Master, there is something you should know first," Kaizo said, looking at the eight.

"What?"

"I don’t think they have their memories. Well, they are getting fragments, but aside from their names, they don’t have much recollection of their past."

"Oh, I see," Kent was surprised to hear that. Though he expected such a possibility, he never thought it would be true.

"Then your names, and if you remember something small about yourself, will be enough for now. Though it is not compulsory to know anything," Kent said.

The orc chieftain was the first to speak.

"I am Skoggr, chieftain of the Bloodmourn Clan. I don’t know how I am here, but I remember being the chieftain of this tribe for many years."

Kent nodded. "It was nice meeting you, Skoggr. Don’t worry; I will help you regain your memories."

The orc nodded. The next in line, the demi-human wyvern, introduced himself.

"I am Kha’azal, once a guardian of the sacred Tempest Peak."

⟪I know that place. It is in the Nine Immortal Worlds. There are three of them: the Tempest Peak, the Flame Peak, and the Radiance Peak.

The Tempest is the strongest of the three.

The tempest peak was the holy grounds of the Wyvern race and the only thing keeping the dragons from invading their lands and taking control of their race.

If he is or was indeed a guardian there, then you have yourself a powerful warrior. Also, looking at his true realm, I think he’s not lying,⟫ Dori suddenly spoke, making Kent widen his eyes slightly.

"Guardian of the Sacred Tempest Peak. Looks like you’re a big shot, huh?" Kent said, and Kha’azal looked at him curiously.

"Do you know that place?" he asked.

"No, however, I have a subordinate who does. She’s busy now, but when she’s free, she’ll come so you can have a chat with her. Just know that you’re a big shot."

Kha’azal smiled.

"What about me?" Skoggr asked, and Kent smiled, shaking his head.

"Don’t look down, Skoggr. After taking care of business here, we’ll be going to the higher worlds soon. We’ll surely come across your tribe or your kind soon enough."

The orc chieftain nodded.

Kent used his Enchanted Eyes to scan them and see if what Dori said was true. After what happened with Velyra, scanning people wasn’t something he did instinctively anymore.

’Damn, they are impressive,’ Kent said inwardly, reading their status pages.

⟪Looks like the limitations of the medium worlds are affecting them.

However, the moment they enter a high world, they will gradually recover to their peak, and the same will happen when they reach an immortal world.

Still, I advise you to take your alchemy seriously, Master.

Though they are immortals, their bodies will need time to adapt and fully restore their strength in higher worlds. But with body tempering now, and by making more pills for them, they can recover much faster to aid you when you need them⟫, Dori said, and Kent nodded inwardly.

He turned to the third dungeon boss, the skull-headed man known as the Shade King.

"I am Nykali. I don’t have any recollection aside from my name," Nykali said with a sigh. Kent patted him on the shoulder and smiled.

"Don’t worry, we all have memories locked away. One day we’ll remember them, and when that time comes, we can return to where we’re supposed to be."

Though his head was a skull and he looked terrifying, his true realm was that of an Immortal King—someone several times stronger than even Kha’azal.
