Chapter 112: Chapter 112: Is It Very Sweet?

Chapter 112 -112: Is It Very Sweet?

Ye Sihan drew down his cold, indifferent gaze, “I never celebrate my birthday.”

“Okay.” Tang Yu nodded thoughtfully, retracting her head and closing the door.

Ye Sihan’s eyes slightly lifted to the closed door, then he glanced toward the computer’s date, his dark pupils as deep as an ancient well.

Surrounding him was an abrupt and oppressive silence in the study.

Tang Yu, having nothing much to do, returned to her room and called Li Xue to talk about the kids.

She did not talk for long, fearing that Ye Sihan might suddenly appear.

However, Ye Sihan did not show up all night.

Tang Yu slept alone in the bed, feeling quite comfortable.

The night turned to dawn.

She had breakfast together with Ye Sihan.

Tang Yu occasionally glanced at Ye Sihan’s face, indifferent and expressionless.

The dining room was so quiet it felt as if only one person was dining.

Until Ye Sihan stood up and left, Tang Yu had not mentioned when she could leave the Ye Mansion.

During the day, Tang Yu watched TV dramas alone, analyzing the acting of the characters out of boredom.

When it was nearly dinner time, she still hadn’t seen Ye Sihan return.

Tang Yu sat in the living room munching on fruit while waiting.

Six o’clock passed, and there was still no sign of Ye Sihan.

Housekeeper Wen approached her, “I called Mister Ye but he did not answer, Miss Tang, why don’t you eat first? It’s fairly normal for Mister Ye not to come back for dinner anyway.”

Tang Yu thought then asked for noodles to be made for her?

Forget it, she was almost starving.

Just as she stood up, she heard the sound of a car engine outside.

Tang Yu hurriedly walked towards the hallway.

Standing on the steps, she watched as Ye Sihan stepped out of the Rolls-Royce, his tall figure imposing and inviolable.

“I thought you wouldn’t come back for dinner, let’s eat together!” Tang Yu said.

In front of the dining table, two sets of utensils were laid out, Ye Sihan seated in the higher position, with Tang Yu sitting closest to him.

The atmosphere was not much different from usual.

Just as Tang Yu was about to eat, she seemed to remember something, “Ah, I almost forgot! Bring over the thing I bought!” she called out to the maid.

The maid at the entrance of the dining room bowed and went to fetch it.

Housekeeper Wen was puzzled, what thing? Why don’t I know about it?

Ye Sihan didn’t make much of it and continued his meal.

Minutes later, a large cake was presented on the dining table.

Ye Sihan suddenly froze, even pausing his meal, as if his heart skipped a beat, as though he had received quite a shock.

“Even if you don’t celebrate your birthday, you still should eat cake, right?” Tang Yu said naturally.

Housekeeper Wen, on the other hand, was quite frightened.

Ye Sihan was known for his cold demeanor and never celebrated his birthday. Wasn’t this going against his wish?

Why did Tang Yu take it upon herself to do this without consulting him? Annoying Mister Ye was something they couldn’t afford!

And now, with Ye Sihan not moving a muscle and an oppressive air around him, Housekeeper Wen didn’t even dare to breathe heavily.

Just when the tense atmosphere in the dining room had reached a peak, Ye Sihan lowered his gaze and continued with his meal, “I don’t eat desserts.”

Housekeeper Wen was frightened, and Tang Yu wasn’t much better off.

There were two possible outcomes for taking such liberty—first, Ye Sihan would get angry and keep her confined in the Ye Mansion; second, Ye Sihan would accept it.

Clearly, it was the latter now.

Although the pause lasted barely a minute, it was enough to make one break out in a cold sweat.

“Then may I eat it?” Tang Yu cautiously observed Ye Sihan’s expression and then picked up a fork, cutting a small piece to taste, “It’s made with animal cream, not too sweet, quite delicious.”

Ye Sihan acted as if he hadn’t heard a thing.

Tang Yu pierced a piece of cake and brought it to Ye Sihan’s lips, “Have a taste?”

Ye Sihan’s eyebrows furrowed with displeasure.

Uncle Wen’s heart almost leapt out of his throat.

Hadn’t he heard that Mister Ye didn’t eat sweets?

“Take it away,” Ye Sihan ordered coldly.

Tang Yu bit her lip. If he wanted her to take it away, she would.

However, after stuffing the cake into her mouth and finishing it, she suddenly stood up, leaned closer, and pressed her small mouth to Ye Sihan’s thin lips.

Ye Sihan’s body stiffened, and his fingers gripping the chopsticks tightened.

The soft touch of her lips, coupled with the sweet fragrance, made him unable to distinguish if it was her own flavor or that of the cake, provoking a shiver in his Adam’s apple.

Tang Yu deepened the kiss, the taste of the cake still lingering in her mouth.

After a series of kisses and breathing heavily, they parted. She asked, “Sweet, isn’t it? Is it very sweet?”

Her question was somewhat provocative. What exactly was she asking about? Was it sweetness of the kiss or the cake?

Yet Tang Yu smiled innocently, her eyes sparkling, utterly unaware of any wrongdoing.

Ye Sihan remained silent, his dark, unfathomable eyes staring at her as if a tumult stirred within the abyss of his gaze.

Immediately afterward, with a cold expression, he averted his gaze, suppressed the reaction in his chest, and spoke, “Since you like it, take it to my room later, and in front of me, finish it all.”

“What?” Tang Yu looked at the several-inch-tall cake in front of her somewhat dumbfounded, protesting, “There’s too much, I can’t finish it.”

With Ye Sihan, however, there was no room for negotiation.

Tang Yu loitered downstairs for a long time, reluctant to go back up.

Was buying a cake for Ye Sihan supposed to make him happy or not?

It couldn’t be unhappiness, as there were no signs of anger from him.

If it were happiness, then why did he want her to finish an entire cake? If not a punishment, then what was it? 𝖓𝔬𝔳𝔭𝖚𝖇.𝔠𝔬𝖒

Just as she was blowing off steam outside, Uncle Wen approached, “Miss Tang, Mister Ye wants you in his room. The cake is still there!”

At that moment, Tang Yu’s stomach was still full.

Being summoned by Uncle Wen surely meant it was an order from Ye Sihan!

Thus, she had no choice but to go to Ye Sihan’s room upstairs.

She knocked on the door, but no one answered.

Pushing the door open and entering, she saw Ye Sihan sitting on the sofa in the bedroom, exuding a powerful, dangerous presence.

And on the coffee table in front of him rested a cake with two bites taken out of it.

“Go take a bath,” he commanded in a low voice.

Tang Yu noticed that Ye Sihan was wearing pajamas, clearly having bathed already.

Was he planning to watch her eat the cake after bathing?

Tang Yu resigned herself to her fate and went to the bathroom, thinking as she bathed that after finishing the cake, her belly would surely burst.

This was definitely Ye Sihan’s wicked sense of humor!

Opening the bathroom door, Tang Yu stepped out dressed in a white bathrobe.

The exposed skin was flushed from the steam, tender and delicate, like a flower bud yet to bloom, awaiting someone to pick and play with it.

Steadying her emotions, Tang Yu walked over and asked, “Can I not eat it? I have such a small appetite. How could I possibly eat such a huge cake…”

Ye Sihan lifted his gaze to her, his black eyes deep, “Take it off.”

Tang Yu was slightly shaken. After hesitating, she shed the robe, which folded at her slender ankles.

The graceful, snow-white flesh glistened in the light, alluring and glossy.

One could tell just by looking how tender and sweet her body was.

“Come here,” Ye Sihan’s eyes darkened.

As Tang Yu lifted her foot, the edge of the balhrobe’s belt snagged her foot, and she lost balance, pitching forward—

“Ah!”

Ye Sihan’s back was originally leaned against the chair, his gaze hardened, and he abruptly sat up, but in the next second, he paused, merely watching as Tang Yu fell onto the coffee table.
