Chapter 62: Chapter 62: You Will Die a Horrible Death

Chapter 62 -62: You Will Die a Horrible Death

“Not planning on leaving?” Ye Sihan’s dark eyes intently gazed down at her as he held her chin in his hand, his tone laced with dangerous intent, “Then let’s do something right here.”

Realizing what he meant, Tang Yu awkwardly withdrew her hand, “I’m sorry!” She immediately went to open the door for him, standing by it with her head lowered.

Tang Yu felt Ye Sihan’s presence brush past her face as he walked by, almost holding her breath in response.

Only after Ye Sihan had left did she exhale a sigh of relief.

Indeed, one should not get too close to Ye Sihan, or problems would arise.

Tang Yu was stopped on her way back to the set with Ye Sihan.

Luo Bingbing looked at her with cold, slanted eyebrows, “How come you’re back so soon? Didn’t go to a hotel?”

Hearing the contempt in her voice, Tang Yu said, “What you think does not represent what everyone thinks.”

“You!” Luo Bingbing’s face almost contorted with anger. “After flirting with Ye Yuli, now you go after Ye Sihan. Tang Yu, your end will be ugly! Just you wait!” After her threat, she turned and walked away.

Tang Yu was speechless. When had she ever seduced them?

Her relationship with Ye Yuli was a normal romance, and after they broke up, they became strangers.

As for Ye Sihan, she couldn’t have wished more to stay away from him.

Trapped in Kyoto like a fish in a pond or a bird in a cage, under Ye Sihan’s control, who could understand her pain?

That afternoon, Li Xue went to pick up the child. By the time she called, the child was already taken home, and Tang Yu still had to film on set.

There was another scene to shoot at night, they had to wait until it was completely dark.

It was a scene with Luo Bingbing.

The lead female and the supporting female had quite a few scenes together, as the script involved a mix of national enmities and domestic strife.

They didn’t start filming until around eight o’clock.

By the time they finished, it was almost ten.

The director’s assistant ran over, “Tang Yu, you’ve worked hard. Have some water.” He even opened the bottle cap of the mineral water for her.

Tang Yu looked at the director’s assistant; it was the first time she received such treatment.

Strange as it was, she thought it might be because they knew she had ridden in Ye Sihan’s car.

When you have value, everyone treats you nicely.

Isn’t that just how people are?

She took the water, “Thank you,” and took a sip.

Holding the mineral water, Tang Yu headed to the makeup room. She placed the unfinished bottle on the table and went to change clothes.

After removing the heavy costume and putting on her own clothes, she was hit with a wave of sudden, hot flush, making her breathing involuntarily ragged.

Sweat beaded on her forehead.

The sensation was remarkably similar to menopausal hot flashes, and oddly, it spread to her lower body as well, feeling as if she was about to melt.

Tang Yu tugged at her neckline, but the heat did not subside.

Turning to the mirror, she saw her face unnaturally flushed, her eyes hazy with a misty look.

Such obvious symptoms… Tang Yu’s gaze inevitably shifted to the mineral water bottle beside her.

She had drunk from this water before.

But she had never opened the bottle herself, had she? No, the cap wasn’t unscrewed by her, it was the assistant.

So, the assistant opened it for her, perhaps to prevent her from suspecting the cap had been tampered with and refusing to drink it.

She had thought it was just a courteous favor.

Tang Yu immediately felt the danger, and taking advantage of having her wits about her, she dashed out of the film crew.

As soon as she ran out of the makeup room, Luo Bingbing and her assistant came over. “Tang Yu, where are you going? I’m inviting you to a bar for fun.”

Tang Yu dared not linger and sprinted forward with all her might.

Luo Bingbing then instructed two male staff members to catch her.

By now, how could Tang Yu not understand? The audacity of the assistant was all Luo Bingbing’s plotting and entrapment.

She could feel the tide within her body, and the heat getting more and more severe; her forehead was covered in sweat, her breathing rapid and accelerated.

Her steps were unsteady and weak, her whole body trembling.

The staff members chasing her were getting closer, and Tang Yu stumbled forward, plunging into the arms of a man, whose solid body made her exceedingly thirsty with longing.

Yet, her consciousness also brought disgust, thinking he was one of the crew members; she pushed hard, “Let me go! Let go…”

“It’s me.”

Tang Yu lifted her eyes, and within her pupils, Ye Yuli’s face was reflected, adding a confused look to her hazy gaze.

“What’s wrong with you?” Ye Yuli steadied her unstable body and asked.

Luo Bingbing and the staff members caught up and, seeing Ye Yuli, felt guilty; she turned with a gentle smile, skillfully faking sincerity. “Mr. Ye, we were just going to take Tang Yu to the bar for some fun. Come on, Tang Yu, Mr. Ye is Zhou Qinghua’s fiancé, you shouldn’t cling to him. Being the other woman is despicable.”

“I… I’ve been drugged,” Tang Yu regained her senses, grabbing hold of Ye Yuli. “Help me get out of here, quickly…”

Luo Bingbing’s smile was forced, “Tang Yu, don’t talk nonsense. Who drugged you? We kindly invite you, and in return, you frame us! Mr. Ye, please don’t believe her, she’s quite the actress when it comes to playing the victim. Everyone knows in the crew she’s a white lotus. Also, don’t forget, her mom was the other woman, her teachings are obviously about luring men.”

Ye Yuli looked at Tang Yu, who was struggling to stand, her complexion flushed, her forehead dotted with sweat.

Tang Yu wasn’t sure if Ye Yuli would help her; they may have had affection in the past, but that didn’t mean anything now.

Besides, he was Zhou Qinghua’s fiancé, and Luo Bingbing was Zhou Qinghua’s friend…

Her body involuntarily started to fall backward, but Ye Yuli quickly pulled her into his embrace, his eyes sweeping coldly towards Luo Bingbing, “Are you threatening me? Whether drugs were used will be investigated. If it’s true, I’ll have you disappear from the entertainment industry.”

This was the real threat.

After that, he wrapped his arms around Tang Yu and took her to his car, which sped away.

Luo Bingbing screamed frantically with rage.

The staff members nearby didn’t dare to make a sound.

Tang Yu sat in the passenger seat, or more accurately, slumped in it. She felt like she was melting from the heat, sweat trickling down her temples.

Even in such distress, a sliver of sense remained in her mind.

She couldn’t undress nor lose her composure.

Her legs were kept tightly together, yet they trembled, the slightest rubbing causing her to quiver violently.

Her white teeth bit her lip tightly, struggling mightily not to let unusual sounds escape from her throat.

“Are you okay?” Ye Yuli asked while driving.

“No… I’m fine… The effect of the drug will wear off…” Tang Yu struggled to speak.

Every word she exhaled was tinged with a burning heat.

She had no idea when the drug’s effect would dissipate, or how intense it could get.

As soon as she finished speaking, the car took a sharp turn, and Tang Yu’s buttocks brushed against the seat, making her shiver and cry out, “Ah!”

Ye Yuli frowned and immediately stopped the car on the side of the road, turning on the interior lights. Tang Yu, weak against the car window, was nearly soaked through with sweat.

What kind of drug had been used, seeing Tang Yu’s reaction, as a man, he would understand.
