Chapter 82: Chapter 82: What Are You Unhappy About?

Chapter 82 -82: What Are You Unhappy About?

“Don’t worry, the only woman who will sleep here in the future will be me,” Tang Yifei’s hand gently caressed the quilt on the bed, which felt both soft and smooth, not something an average person could afford.

“I saw that you had four children with you,” Tang Yu brought up the topic on purpose, trying to probe sideways because she always felt something was off.

“Ye Sihan sponsors them, which shows he likes children. There’s nothing wrong with using the children to win Ye Sihan’s favor,” Tang Yifei said smugly.

Tang Yu asked uncertainly, “Was it your idea to let Ye Sihan meet the children?”

“As long as you mention it to the school, they immediately help to bring them over the moment they hear it’s Ye Sihan’s wish. Who wouldn’t want to please Ye Sihan?”

Tang Yu was so angry she could die.

She knew something was up! Why on earth would the cold Ye Sihan voluntarily meet the quadruplets to develop a bond?

And even bring them here!

Turns out it was all Tang Yifei causing her trouble!

“Tang Yifei, being presumptuous in front of Ye Sihan will only backfire!” Tang Yu said, holding back her anger.

“What are you unhappy about?” Tang Yifei sneered, “Are you jealous that I thought of a way to please a man that you didn’t? When it comes to seducing men, you really can’t hold a candle to your mother.”

“You certainly received your mother’s true teachings,” Tang Yu retorted.

“You…” Tang Yifei held back her urge to argue, “Tonight I will have dinner with the children and Ye Sihan. You better not show up, otherwise, I really don’t know what I might do.”

After the warning, she left the room.

Tang Yu sat on the edge of the bed, angry and helpless.

That was exactly what Tang Yifei wanted because she really couldn’t show up.

What a joke!

Wouldn’t that be like appearing in front of those four little ones?

If all four of them call out ‘Mommy’ and hug their legs, climbing all over her, that scene… in front of Ye Sihan no less, it would be more terrifying than doomsday!

Tang Yifei really did have a way, to have dug up so much about Ye Sihan!

Knowing that he sponsored the kids, she assumed he liked children, so she started with the kids to please Ye Sihan.

Her tactic wasn’t bad.

Unfortunately, Ye Sihan didn’t actually like children at all! His motivation was for profit!

It wasn’t long before she heard the door open again, this time it seemed not quite as smoothly.

Then, four little penguins wobbled into Tang Yu’s view.

“Mommy!”

“Mommy!”

“Mommy!”

“Mommy!”

Shocked back to her senses by the calls that baffled her mind, Tang Yu hurried to close the door she had left open, filled with terror!

Then she was pushed back by the four little ones flinging themselves at her.

“Mumfum speech Mommy!”

“Why’s Mommy here?”

“So happy!”

“Ugh! Happy!”

Tang Yu thought, You’re happy, but I’m scared out of my wits!

But it was just one night apart, did they need to be this happy…?

She reminded them, “Keep your voices down, don’t let anyone find out you’re here.”

The quadruplets immediately nodded, whispering softly, “Got it, Mommy!”

“We sneaked in secretly!”

“Nobody saw us!”

“Uh-huh!” Xibao said innocently.

“You didn’t let anyone know Tang Yu is your mommy, did you?”

“No way!”

“Good,” Tang Yu embraced their soft little bodies, kissing their chubby cheeks again and again.

Ever since the quadruplets became the focus of the school’s publicity, she had repeatedly warned them not to let anyone know that Tang Yu was their mommy. Especially not in front of outsiders—they must never call her mommy!

But they were still children, after all. What if they carelessly called her ‘Mommy’ in front of Ye Sihan?

So it was only natural that Tang Yu felt panicked and guilty.

“What is Mommy doing in here?” Junjun asked.

“At Uncle’s house.” Zhengzheng said.

“Do you know him?” Haohao said.

“Hm?” Xibao said.

With four pairs of puzzled eyes staring at her, Tang Yu’s face showed an awkward yet concealing smile.

Her mind raced, yet before she could find an excuse, Zhengzheng’s eyes lit up, “Wow, that’s it! Mommy likes Uncle!”

The other cute kids grew even more curious! Their big eyes twinkling as they stared at Mommy!

“That’s not true!” Tang Yu denied in a hurry, steering the conversation away from anything related to ‘liking’ someone. “Mommy is just… just working for him, working.”

“Oh?” Haohao’s little mouth formed an O shape.

Big question marks seemed to jump above the quadruplets’ heads.

“Really!” Concerned they might not believe her, Tang Yu nodded earnestly.

Before six o’clock, a Rolls-Royce pulled up outside the Ye Mansion, and Ye Sihan stepped out of the car with his tall stature, giving a profound sense of pressure.

His cold gaze fell upon the living room sofa, shifting from Tang Yifei to the four little ones.

One of the quadruplets was lying beside the coffee table with a pen in hand, doodling on paper; another was reaching for an incredibly valuable decoration on the shelf with their little short legs; one was sitting on an antique vase; and the last one was sprawled on the back of the sofa, with their head and little legs dangling.

Tang Yifei couldn’t stop their mischievous behavior no matter how hard she tried.

If it wasn’t the Ye Mansion, they would have already been punished.

Witnessing the scene inside, Ye Sihan’s chiseled face was ice cold.

After Tang Yifei arrived at the Ye Mansion with the four children, Wen Bo had called him.

Seeing Ye Sihan, Tang Yifei immediately went up to him like a tender wife awaiting her husband’s return from work, “Mr. Ye, you’re back? Kids, come over here.”

The quadruplets stopped their play but didn’t move, frozen in place with wide eyes, unblinkingly staring at Ye Sihan.

Just as Tang Yifei was thinking how silly these children were, she saw Ye Sihan head towards the sofa.

Ye Sihan stood next to the sofa, looking down from his height.

Junjun, not even as tall as his thighs, waddled over with his little legs, looking up with his tiny face, “I know you!”

Xibao said, “Thank you…”

Wen Bo approached, “Mr. Ye, would you like to have dinner now?”

Ye Sihan did not reply.

Understanding, Wen Bo nodded, “Miss Tang hasn’t come downstairs yet.”

“Call her.”

“Yes.” Wen Bo instructed the maid to go upstairs.

Tang Yu startled at the sound of the knock, standing there properly, then thinking to herself that although she saw Ye Sihan’s car return, he would definitely not knock if he were entering the room.

Sure enough, the voice of the maid followed, “Miss Tang, dinner is served downstairs.”

Tang Yu didn’t dare to go down for dinner.

Wouldn’t that mean sitting with the quadruplets?

What if the quadruplets were happy eating and accidentally called out Mommy or even fed Mommy?

Ye Sihan was such a shrewd person, there was no room for slip-ups!

“Miss Tang?” The maid, not hearing a response, then pushed the door open. Inside the bedroom, Tang Yu lay on the bed looking listless. “Miss Tang, what’s wrong with you?” no𝚟𝚙u𝚋.c𝚘m

“My back hurts, can I eat up here?” Tang Yu asked weakly.

The maid turned and left.

Tang Yu’s sickly appearance disappeared in an instant.

Would Ye Sihan agree to let her eat upstairs at this?

Five minutes later, a dinner intended for her was brought into the room and placed on the table in the living room next to the bedroom.

After the maid left, Tang Yu sat down to eat.

She hadn’t expected that he would really agree to let her eat in her room.

She truly hoped the quadruplets would leave soon after finishing their meal.

She had no idea what they would be like during dinner.
