"What's next?" Almond spoke, his voice resounding towards the Supreme Emperors 49 kilometers away.
"The shield broke, so we are equal now either way," Verina said with a snort.
"Okay, loser. That's why he asked, what's next," Lily said as she rolled her eyes. "Are you all going to attack the two of us together or what?"
"You…"
"Humph, you and your tricks," a woman with a petite figure, but a single horn and two devilish wings on her back spoke as she floated up from her throne.
"You want to fight all of us at once, eh? So you can have the sorry excuse that you lost because we ganged up on you. Yeah, nice try."
She vanished and appeared twenty meters across Almond and Lily, a long handle with a large double-sided axe that was the size of her figure hanging in her hand.
Her aura was surging, her eyes gleaming with brown and indigo blue sparks as she spoke, "I am Viviane of the Siengol clan, and one of you can come at me for a duel and die first."
Almond and Lily looked at each other before turning to her.
"So, what's your rank among those bunch of Supreme Emperors?" Lily asked. "I mean, you were sitting on a lame throne, so you must be one of the ten strongest, but what rank?"
"Why does that matter to you? You both are going to die either way." Viviane sneered. "Well, I heard you got revival from Grimworld, so I guess you won't really die and resume from the same progress. Lucky you, eh? You came here to die, but killed two of us with tricky exchanges."
"Tricky exchanges?" Almond laughed as he shook his head. "That's such a loser's way of saying you lacked the means to see through us."
"There's no trick anywhere here," Lily smiled. "If anything, it's purely the skill issue."
The cat suddenly intervened in between after Lily finished as the stream showed Viviane.
"So lady Viviane, you haven't answered the main question. Among the ten group leaders, what rank do you place yourself in?"
"Or maybe one of you would like to answer in the stead?" the camera moved to the other eight group leaders sitting on the throne.
"I'd say she is in the top five," the group leader of the Karvalheim clan casually says. "I am the strongest, of course."
"You wish," scoffed a man sitting on the throne with the Bralamir Clan's flag.
"Well, Verina and the dead guy Lang are weakest among us," Durlin clan's group leader casually spoke. "But I've only fought for real with four of you, so well, not enough data."
Viviane annoyingly said, "Why does it matter? Just decide which one of you is dueling with me. We don't have time to waste on you. At least, I don't."
"Fine, whatever," Almond waved his hand as he lost interest, conjuring a coin.
"Oh, that's a nice idea," Lily chuckled. "I choose heads."
"Well, tails for me then," Almond said before he flipped the coin, spinning it at light speed before slamming it on his palm.
"It's tails," Lily speechlessly said before her majestic dress made from her Ichor of Dreadspire Eicholod extended with threads that soon created a comfy couch-like throne.
"Have fun."
Almond smiled and turned to Viviane, taking out his sword.
"Finally," Viviane rolled her eyes, squeezing the axe's handle before it suddenly appeared in her other hand and spun skillfully by twirling her fingers around the handle.
Slashing at Almond just physically, she pointed the axe at him as she said, "Make your move."
Almond simply stretched his hand as he stood in front stance with his sword's tip pointing upward as it positioned diagonally across his chest.
"Sorry, but I won't be making a move first," Almond said his aura surged and a slick leather belt, new trousers, and an ethereal white robe with dark gold and black metallic embroidery and patterns covered his figure.
Regalon Spirit Armament, full form!
"To make things interesting and a bit fun, I've decided to attack you once after every ten attacks I receive from you."
"What?"
Everyone was dumbfounded and the chat exploded.
[ What the fuck? Is he for real? ]
[ Geez, these Regalons never fail in the boasting department. Now I know why their fans are so mental. ]
[ Trash above will soon see a new horizon. Watch our Regalon King dominate that bitch from whatever Big Ten clan. ]
[ The insults…]
[ He can't be real. ]
[ He hasn't taken an Arcane oath, so whatever. ]
On the other hand, Viviane's face darkened at Almond's words.
"Are you kidding me?" Viviane spoke as her jaw tightened, teeth clenched. "You Regalons really are pushing your weight around just because of some feats."
"Hold on. Mister Almond, if you are really serious about the challenge you announced yourself, why don't you make an Arcane Oath?" the cat avatar arrived with a grin.
"Sure, why not?" Almond nonchalantly said and made an arcane oath.
"You'll regret that!" Viviane shouted before she vanished from her spot and arrived beside Almond, her blazing axe coming at Almond, about to swing his head off from the neck.
However, a clear sound of metal hitting metal rang as Almond's sword blocked it. An explosion of shockwaves burst out from the clash.
The axe unleashed a wrathful stream of the blaze of brown and indo flame that covered Almond entirely before it solidified and spiked produced from all sides.
"Humph, block it, you said?" Viviane snorted.
But the moment after she spoke, a series of cracks resounded before the shell that covered Almond shattered outwardly.
Viviane's pupils shrank as she laid her eyes on Almond.
His body had a faintly glowing silver-gold border, like a glowing neon film, and he was fucking completely unscathed.
Almond blinked and smiled. "Not bad."
The other Supreme Emperors looked at Almond, at the defensive film around his body, and once again, they couldn't measure its energy level.
Big D clicked his tongue. "Damn it, I can't measure that little brat's power level, but he maintained his stats the same as Viviane."
[ Holy crap! That was an Omega-1 attack, but he is fucking unscathed?! ]
[ Fuck…]
[ No way! ]
"Come on, nine more before I attack," Almond said with a smile.
