At 7 p.m., the house was already bustling with activity. Bai Ju and her husband, their three children, Bai Xiao, Li Chunhua, and Bai Song had all arrived.
The house instantly became overcrowded.

After the branches closed, he would return to the main kitchen to prepare large batches of the base for the next day.
So it was impossible for them to be there at the moment.
Seeing the family gathered, old man Wang felt somewhat out of place. It was like he was in his daughter-in-law’s home and not his son’s, and he always felt somewhat disconnected. She had even specifically bought toys and clothes for her, and the toy she was holding now was a little lamb that could sing songs and scuttle across the floor on its wheels.
It was battery-operated, and upon pressing the button, it would light up and the lamb would sing and move around on the floor.
As soon as Bai Xiao presented the toy, Little Tangyuan’s eyes immediately widened. Her big, black eyes, so much like Bai Yue’s, blinked with thick lashes, as if full of wonder.
When Bai Xiao activated the lamb, it started running around the floor, singing.
Little Tangyuan was thoroughly captivated and started patting her grandfather’s hand, wanting to get down to the ground.
Luckily, their house had wooden floors which Bai Yue always kept polished to a shine.
Once on the floor, the little one gave chase to the lamb, crawling and scampering after it on hands and knees.
Everyone in the house watched her and laughed heartily.
Little Tangyuan finally caught up with the little lamb, reached out with her chubby little hands, and embraced the singing Xiaoyan tightly in her arms. Holding up the lamb to watch it sing and glow,
she even began singing along to the melody.
Bai Xiao adored this little girl.
She was truly the darling belle of their family.
