"Only the two of us will enter the meeting. I’ll have people stationed at the crossroads. The person you’re looking for, my men have already conducted a background check. If everything goes as planned, I should have the information by the time we reach Singapore. Do you want this person alive or dead?" Shao Ming was unsure what this young lady was really up to.
Bai Xiao shook her head, "I need them alive."
What does she need a dead person for? If she truly wanted someone dead, even at the public market, she would have Bai Mei silently taken care of, with no one able to trace how it happened.
However, Bai Mei probably wouldn’t easily meet with her now.
"What deep grudges does this person have with the doctor?" Shao Ming wondered.

The two approached the roadblock and were stopped by armed soldiers in camouflage gear.
Suddenly, someone rushed over, humbly presenting a card; this time’s public market meeting was inaccessible without a guest invitation.
After checking the invitation, they were immediately allowed in.
