Geng Lu pushed her drawing tools aside, cleared the table, and sat up straight, which caused her top to stretch.
The filled air-like roundness didn’t flatten with her movements but remained pert.
She opened the box to see an exquisitely carved White Jade Bear inside, or rather, a ’miniature version of a large bear’.
Thinking back to the conversation with Jiang Ning the previous night, Geng Lu’s mind was still in turmoil.
Casting aside those strange thoughts, she complimented, "It’s prettier than I thought."
Jiang Ning advised, "Wear it on yourself from now on and try not to take it off."
Geng Lu obediently nodded, "Mm-hmm, I will wear it all the time, even in the shower."
Looking around, the classroom was crowded, and she could only demurely wear the Jade Pendant, then drop the White Jade Bear just below her collarbone, where it disappeared into her chest.
