Chapter 1181: Chapter 1039: Crashing the Airplane (Please Subscribe!)

In the early hours,

after Lin Jiaxue had gone to sleep,

Tang Qing headed to the Training Area.

On a huge Airport adjacent to a Ghost City,

hundreds of Aircraft of various sizes were parked, including over fifty combat UAVs, about thirty Armed Helicopters from different countries, and the rest were Fighter Aircrafts from various nations that Tang Qing had brought for fun.

With his learning capabilities,

flying an Airplane was not too difficult.

After he unlocked new products in the Mall, he bought these to play with but soon grew tired of it because the space in the Training Area was not large enough to truly enjoy flying.

Besides those displayed outside, the hangar stored a large amount of flight equipment, including Transport Aircrafts, Reconnaissance Aircrafts, and even Bombers. If it wasn’t for the fact that they hadn’t been written off last time, Tang Qing would have sold them long ago.

On the vast tarmac,

a familiar Aircraft was parked,

--- a Gulfstream G550.

This wasn’t the one bought from the United States.

Instead, it was built by Scientists.

Everything from the Appearance, Interior Design, to the Structure mimicked the Gulfstream G550 perfectly, otherwise, it would not pass the "examination." The differences were in the interior and some equipment.

Like the Engine,

it only looked the same, but internally, it was significantly different. The fuel efficiency had increased by 40 percent, extending the range to 18,000 kilometers, and the Aircraft’s framework had been comprehensively reinforced.

Moreover,

the Aircraft was also fitted with an onboard Weapons System, just in case.

However, a few days later it was to go to Beijing for an "examination," so these devices were not currently installed to ensure the Aircraft would not be found suspicious. The maintenance personnel were all foreign hires, and of course, were Fighters.

"Tang Yi, can it fly?" Tang Qing asked, excited to embark on its first flight.

"Commander, fuel is topped up, equipment examination is complete, no issues found."

"Good."

Finishing his words, Tang Qing quickly boarded the Aircraft.

He didn’t bring a co-pilot.

Tang Qing could pilot a dozen different models, therefore learning new ones amazingly fast. Within just five minutes inside the Aircraft, accompanied by the unique roar, it took off.

Flying an Airplane.

Difficult?

Of course... not simple.

Especially since he crashed over a dozen at the start.

But he still learned, didn’t he?

Speaking of crashing Planes,

Tang Qing recalled the Indians.

Over forty years, Indians crashed more than a thousand Planes, treating it as routine. Sometimes they’d crash multiple times a month, tirelessly walking further down this path.

Regarding this neighbor,

Tang Qing had to admire their courage, treating accidents as normal occurrences, feeling like the year was wasted if they didn’t crash dozens.

"Little Two, let’s have some thrilling chase," after a few rounds and getting excited, Tang Qing commanded.

"Yes, Commander."

As soon as the words fell,

a Projection appeared on the dashboard in front of the Aircraft.

Simultaneously,

not far from the Airport, two fiery trailed rounds chased the Aircraft, sending the cockpit into alarm! It was then that Tang Qing remembered that this was a civilian Aircraft which seemed to not have Weapons installed yet.

Unlike other Aircrafts, where the Mall provided fully armed Weapons for free.

Naturally... guided... missiles were also absent.

On a head-slap,

with only about ten seconds to impact, Tang Qing hurriedly commanded, "Little Two, disengage attack."

"Yes, Commander."

The Weapons redirected.

Within fifteen seconds,

two huge explosions sounded from the sea.

Waterspouts shot up tens of meters high, the majority of the Planes Tang Qing crashed were ruined in this way, by stalling during evasions, crashing directly into the ground and turning into fireballs.

Of course,

Tang Qing wouldn’t lose a hair, he could exit anytime.

Half an hour later,

the Gulfstream G550 slowly parked on the runway, though he played around with sudden accelerations and decelerations and nearly crashed during extremely low-altitude flights, he safely landed without incident.

Ground support Fighters hurried up for maintenance.

Such was the nature of Aircrafts.

After each Task, they underwent an examination, returned for a thorough monthly check, unlike cars, Planes had too many Parts and were operated in the sky; even with good materials, no sloppiness was tolerated.

...

In the following two weeks,

Pang Yu and Lu Qiaojie invited many technicians from Qingyuan Technology for meals and entertainment under various pretenses, believing Wan Yu was an exception, thinking they could glean desired information from others.

However,

They eventually realized their efforts were in vain.

Besides the excellent internal confidentiality system at Qingyuan Technology. The Employees they approached, including some Managers, seemed genuinely unaware of any valuable secrets.

First, they couldn’t find anyone related to the Appearance design.

Second, while there was substantial knowledge about the Operating System, given the current progress of Qingyuan Technology’s Operating System development, it was incomprehensible, like an indescribable mess that made no sense when pieced together.

Regarding the Keys, Interface, Functionality, they only scraped the surface, and the insider they bribed even claimed ignorance about who was handling these tasks.

Inter-departmental communication within the Company was minimal.

With such results,

how could they report back?

In the coffee shop,

Pang Yu expressed his frustration, "What do we do?"

"What can we do? Just report truthfully. There are two interpretations of our current situation. First, Tang Qing’s secrecy is tightly managed, and we were deceived. Second, he has another group of designers that we are unaware of; those we contacted are just the low-level designers."

Lu Qiaojie followed up.

"I’d like to believe the first, but logic tells me the latter is more likely. Tang Qing entrusts key technology design to a development team we don’t know about."

"Let it be, we’ve done our best, spending half a month here, couldn’t meet the key figures, and continuing would yield no results. Even our Hacker can’t breach their network momentarily, it’s frustrating..."

He finished,

Lu Qiaojie stood up,

made a phone call.

Five minutes later,

Lu Qiaojei spoke to Pang Yu with ease, "Let’s go, we can return now. Headquarters has lost patience, they’ll send others to handle it, and it’s not our concern anymore."

"Corporate Espionage?" Pang Yu instantly thought of this.

Lu Qiaojie indifferently said, "Who knows? Anyway, it’s none of our business."

"Right, let’s go, time for skewers."

"I want hot pot." 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝑏.𝘤𝘰𝑚

"Let’s compromise, we’ll have skewer hot pot."

"...You make a good argument."
