Chapter 382: Chapter 309: Punishment (Please subscribe!)_2

"Crack... clatter..."

Their large wooden door was kicked open, even the iron bolts that were locked from the inside had deformed and fallen off.

The two remorseful men were nearly scared to wet their pants. Their knees went weak, thinking they were the police, but instinctively, they picked up bottles to face the intruder.

A burly man.

Dressed decently.

Wearing sunglasses.

The two brothers had a bad feeling.

The stranger paid no attention to the two men but looked over at a room to the side.

Seeing this, the Gan brothers’ hearts sank.

They felt like something bad was about to happen.

They hoped he was not here for the child.

"Who are you? What do you want? You’re trespassing, I’ll report you!" exclaimed the elder Gan angrily, standing at the entrance to the side-room, brandishing the bottle and even his voice was trembling from the nerves.

The younger Gan joined his brother and nervously stared at the stranger.

The stranger paid no attention to them.

He had driven all the way to the head of the village following a trail of tire tracks that led to this home. If it had rained, an ordinary person wouldn’t have been able to recognize the tracks. Little Two, however, had no such problem. After recreating the model in his mind, a trace analysis was incredibly simple.

So, the stranger drove undisturbed to the Gan’s gate.

One soldier stayed with the car outside, the other went inside to look for someone. They brought no weapons.

Seeing the two men obstructing him from his task,

The soldier had nothing to say, and put on no flashy show. He only approached the two men, grabbed their heads, and with a sudden flash before their eyes, they fell unconscious.

Head to head contact.

The force was great. After such a collision, it looked like their brains needed to reboot.

The soldier smelled a faint scent of perfume in the air. Pushing through the side door, he found a child, their mouth covered over, tears streaming down their face. It was a pitiful sight.

The soldier swiftly moved forward, taking off the tape and undoing the ropes binding the child’s hands.

"Waah... Mommy..."

The terrified child finally broke down and started to cry loudly.

This cry seemed to put the soldier in a difficult position.

His skills did not include calming down children.

"Don’t cry, you’re safe now. Come with me." the soldier tried to modulate his voice.

The little girl was bewildered.

Usually when she cried, someone would come and soothe her. Seeing the stern-looking uncle, and also the two men knocked down by the door, Qu’r quickly suppressed her tears, and with a bit of fear, she looked at the unfamiliar face in front of her.

"Are you a bad guy?" Qu’r whimpered through her tears.

"No, I’m taking you to your mother." replied the soldier.

"The two bad guys who were here earlier said the same thing." Qu’r said, looking wide-eyed at the soldier.

"..." The soldier didn’t know how to respond.

Even a small child knew basic logic. He thought for a moment and then said, "Uncle beat the two bad guys, so he must be a good guy."

"Let’s go." The soldier didn’t waste time on words.

Having said that, the soldier moved towards the exit.

In a non-combat zone, where the target was capable of moving on its own, the soldier would not carry her. Soldiers don’t distinguish between old or young, they only determine whether someone can move on their own. The Command Room didn’t find anything unusual about this, unless it was necessary, everyone was treated the same.

"Okay." Qu’r obediently followed him.

Seeing the two bad men lying by the door, she was a little afraid, so she cautiously held onto the soldier’s sleeve.

After putting Qu’r in the car, the soldier went back inside. He disabled one leg of each of the men, effectively ruining their lives. This was an order from Tang Qing, who had received the news. These people deserved no mercy. If it were his child that had been kidnapped, death would be the easiest punishment.

The soldier drove the car back to the city’s commercial street.

He went into a shop.

The shopkeeper immediately recognized Qu’r.

"Isn’t this ...?" The shopkeeper was ready to call the police.

"Shopkeeper, leave the girl here and contact her parents. Meanwhile, give this to her parents." The soldier handed over a note.

"Alright, alright." The bewildered shopkeeper mindlessly agreed.

The soldier didn’t want to go to the police station to explain things, so he found a shop that was outside the surveillance area.

Having said that, he turned around, left the shop, crossed the neighborhood to the street, got in the car, and retreated.

Simultaneously, Little Two erased the traces of the car in the surveillance system. He only erased the key details. Otherwise, if a car disappeared in broad daylight, it would frighten others.

After the soldier left, the shopkeeper immediately called the police to tell them that the lost child had been found.

Though she had many questions, there was no one to answer them.

When Qu’r’s parents heard the news, they hurried over. Seeing Qu’r, they rushed forward to hug her and wouldn’t let go. They began crying loudly and Qu’r couldn’t help but join in.

"Qu’r, what happened? Who brought you back here?" asked Qu’r’s mother between sobs.

Qu’r replied, "Mommy, two bad guys took me and tied me up and told me not to speak. Then an uncle came and beat the bad guys and brought me here."

Upon hearing this,

All the relatives who had rushed over instantly realized that Qu’r had been abducted by traffickers.

At that moment,

The shopkeeper remembered the note and said: "Miss, this was given by the man who brought your daughter back. He told me to give it to you, I didn’t dare to read it."

A note? 𝓷ℴ𝓿𝓹𝓾𝒷.𝓬𝓸𝓂

Qu’r’s parents hurriedly took the note and read it. It said:

"Your daughter was kidnapped by two traffickers. We happened to pass by and helped a little. Here is the address of the traffickers. Report them and bring them to justice promptly. Remember, take better care of your child next time."

The handwriting was incredibly neat.

It looked as though it had been printed.

The police also took the note.

The neat handwriting made them marvel.

When they finished reading the note, Qu’r’s parents were filled with dread. If these people hadn’t ’passed by’, they might never have seen their daughter again.

"Let’s go, we need to catch those two animals. I want to give them a good lesson." Qu’r’s father said angrily. The thought of nearly losing his daughter filled him with rage, and he wanted to beat the two men to death.

"Yes, let’s find them, my poor Qu’r, sob sob..." Qu’r’s mother started crying again.

With all the family in tow, they drove in several cars, over a dozen brothers and sisters, fueled by anger, rushed to the Gan’s house. They drove faster than even the police because the local police station didn’t have many police cars and they needed to go back to get permission.

Seeing the Gan brothers already awake and trying to treat their feet inside,

Qu’r’s family didn’t care that they were already disabled. They were enraged at the sight of them and immediately attacked them with fists and feet.

It wasn’t until the village committee and the police arrived that the two families stopped their assault. Especially the two men’s faces, they were scratched all over by Qu’r’s mother, littered with claw marks. But they still had enough self-restraint to not kill anyone.
