Chapter 531: Chapter 439: Never Dare Again (Please Subscribe!)_1

Not only were the three of them seen as monkeys, but there were also people pointing and gesticulating at them from a distance.

This feeling.

It’s so fucking weird!

I’m also from Earth, okay? I don’t have horns on my head and there’s no tail on my ass. Fortunately, no one is taking pictures because no one dares. However, Tang Qing, who has sharp ears, is very pleased to hear someone complimenting his handsomeness.

"Old Tang, I must say, the feeling of being feared by others is quite good." While walking, Li Kai suddenly blurted out.

Tang Qing was dumbfounded, looking at Li Kai, who was slightly excited, and he disdainfully said: "Haven’t you noticed that we’ve become ostentatious young masters parading around town, just missing a group of flunkeys."

"Ah? Indeed, no wonder it felt familiar." Li Kai also realized that something was off. Many people were watching him with trepidation, and over time, he felt like he was being treated like a plague.

It put a damper on his mood.

At that moment, he saw a child who was quickly pulled aside by his father. The child looked at him fearfully, and Li Kai’s excitement disappeared. Instead, he kindly nodded at the child.

If he had a lollipop, he would give one to the child.

"Good morning, young sirs." At that moment, a middle-aged man came over and said with a beaming smile.

He was speaking Thai.

Tang Qing knew this man.

It was Ge Dan.

He was the intelligence agent stationed here by the Mianmo faction, but his assistant, Sang Jin, was nowhere to be seen.

Because of the attention they were receiving, Tang Qing knew that Ge Dan was here to fishing for information, but luckily, they were lurking behind the scenes, like the biggest crocodiles in the deepest waters. They didn’t have to worry about constant harassment from people like him. Being a carefree boss was indeed wonderful.

Li Kai and Feng Sen looked at Ge Dan in bewilderment, then turned their heads to look at Tang Qing. They understood him, but they felt a little suspicious of this stranger who started a conversation with them in a foreign land. He was obviously up to no good.

"Hello, we’re just strolling around. Please do not disturb us, thank you." Tang Qing didn’t want to talk to these types of people. Any questions he might ask would be agenda-driven. Tang Qing wasn’t even interested in exchanging pleasantries, let alone letting Ge Dan prattle on. It was best to shut him up as soon as possible.

"Uh... Well then, I won’t bother you anymore," Ge Dan said awkwardly. He had been in the crowd watching their ’parade’ the day before. Ling was personally accompanying and introducing them. In his territory, such treatment was a first for him.

He had wanted to start a conversation, hoping to find out some useful information.

Unfortunately, they were extremely cautious.

Once Tang Qing had said his thanks, if Ge Dan continued to stay, he would truly be overstepping his bounds. But, even if the conversation didn’t go anywhere, it wouldn’t matter. Yesterday, he had memorized the license plates of those Mercedes-Benz cars. All it would take was one phone call to find out who owned those cars.

Tang Kai.

The biggest jade and jewelry wholesaler in Thailand.

His conclusion was that he had come to purchase goods, so Tang Kai was just a businessman. He didn’t amount to much. Today’s ’chat-up’ was just a chance to pick up a little extra money, and if the opportunity presented itself, he’d have some bonuses with his instant noodles. If not, just eating the instant noodles would suffice.

With that being said, Ge Dan politely excused himself.

"Old Tang, what does this man want? He looks rather pitiful." Li Kai leaned in and quietly asked. Watching Ge Dan being chased away by Tang Qing, he felt a twinge of sympathy.

Tang Qing thought for a moment, then explained: "You see, ordinary people are afraid of us. That’s perfectly normal. If someone isn’t afraid, they must want something. We need to be careful not to engage with strangers. After all, things here have just stabilized, so there are surely many unstable factors. Hence, it’s always wise to be cautious."

His words alarmed Li Kai.

Indeed.

Upon hearing about the potential instability, Li Kai quickly reciprocated with his own hushed response.

Afterwards.

The group stopped strolling after an hour. Their hands were full of local specialties and crafts, as well as some ’mountain goods’, which were wild animals. Tang Qing suggested they eat them before returning to the domestic land, because they definitely couldn’t take them back home. Otherwise, if they were found out and accused of smuggling, it would be really troublesome.

In the afternoon.

Tang Qing took the two ’can’t carry any more’ around the camp again, trying all specified vehicle equipment and parading around in a well-armoured vehicle. The two were so excited that their faces turned red.

On the other hand.

Wei Jun borrowed a Mercedes-Benz from Tang Kai to go home.

His house was located not far from the road. After parking the car by the roadside and not having walked far, he saw the familiar buildings of home.

Rushing to the house that preserved all of his childhood memories, Wei Jun’s eyes welled up with tears. The people who played a part in those memories were gone, while the clean and tidy front yard seemed to have been taken care of.

At his unlocked front door, Wei Jun was preparing to knock.

"Master Wei, butler Wang, is that you?" came a trembling voice from behind him.

Hearing the familiar voice, Wei Jun turned around in shock. He saw a robust old man pushing a motorcycle, called Xiang Yong, who used to manage the sale of medicinal herbs for his family. During the escape, he had followed them to Thailand. It was unexpected to meet him here.

"It’s me. When did you come back? Are you all right?" Wei Jun quickly stepped forward for a hug.

"I’m fine, really. When I heard about the holocaust here, I brought my family back. This is where we used to live after all. It’s such a relief that you’re still alive. We thought you... What about the old master?" Xiang Yong rambled anxiously.
