Chapter 629: Chapter 533 Attack, Warning (Subscription Requested!)_1

While Tang Qing was leisurely taking Lin Jiaxue to school.

Thailand.

Bangkok.

Within a not so small villa in the west side.

A black Toyota sedan stopped in front of a small courtyard.

A middle-aged man stood at the entrance of the courtyard. Upon seeing the car stop, he quickly went up to open the door respectfully. The man was the head of the assassin organization ’Venomous Python’ in Thailand, in charge of collecting intelligence for the organization and providing necessary weapons, equipment, transportation, procedures, identity information, and so on.

Although he was in charge here, he dared not offend the assassins within the organization. These guys are real cutthroats. Even though there’s a rule against killing each other, it’s always better to be safe than sorry. His one principle: serve these guys well.

"You’ve had a long journey, please come in," the middle-aged man said, bowing.

"Thank you, we appreciate your help this time," replied a man who was clearly the team leader.

The middle-aged man’s smile satisfied the four people who stepped out of the car. They had all heard before that the head of the Thai branch was very good at his job and endured. His reputation seemed well deserved.

The four people who got off the car were all of Asian descent, three men and one woman. They were a small team of assassins. Established six years ago, they had completed dozens of assassination tasks without a single failure. They were amongst the top three assassin squads in ’Venomous Python’.

Of course, there are a lot of lone rangers within ’Venomous Python’ who prefer to work alone. But this kind of maverick is becoming less and less popular. Unless it’s a hit with a long time limit, like Ling’s, at least three known assassin organizations are currently on the case. It’s first come, first served, so they only dispatched this team.

All of them had Asian faces, which was convenient for carrying out their mission. After all, Ling was now on high alert. If they sent a white or black person over, it would be like a light bulb in the dark. What kind of idiot would do that?

"So this is our contact point? Nice environment, much better than in Africa. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Thailand. Last time I came here I was not in this line of work. The air is great, rejuvenating, especially for a woman," a lean man who got out of the driver’s seat, said as he looked around with a smile.

His build was not as robust as a European’s, but no one in this line of work would be without real skills. The head of the branch dared not underestimate any assassin.

"You sure talk a lot," a heavily made-up woman said disdainfully, flipping her lipstick in her fingers in a distracting manner.

No team would be complete without a woman. How else would they seduce the target?

The lean man chuckled, "God gave me a mouth, of course I have to use it. Unlike you, I would get sick if I kept quiet." A verbal fight was a nice way to ease the tension in their bloody line of work.

"If there were no women, you’d probably go nuts," the woman retorted coldly.

"You understand me so well. Once the mission is completed, I definitely want to try out the women in Thailand." The man, not at all embarrassed, was fantasizing about finishing this job and sleeping with ten women. No, make that twenty.

As for flirting with the woman in front of him, he thought of at least fifty men who ended up in pieces before his eyes. He did not have the guts to make crude jokes about her, for fear that he might wake up the next day and find...

Wow, where are my balls?

What’s that?

They’ve been flushed down the drain?

That would be the end of him.

And this woman prefers to mesmerize people before striking.

Thinking about this,

the man clenched his legs together, feeling a sudden chill in his pants.

"First, keep your lower half in check. This mission’s target is not that simple," the team leader stopped their usual banter. As they bickered, he had carefully checked the surroundings and found no abnormalities.

"Of course I know it’s not simple. The average person wouldn’t dare to deal with such stuff, but we’ve faced tougher opponents and still come out unscathed," the man replied, clearly unimpressed.

However, those who knew him well knew that this was a facade. When facing enemies, he never let his guard down. Even against the weakest opponent, he would always treat them as the strongest.

"Let’s go in," he said.

They followed the middle-aged man into the small villa. Only the middle-aged man lived in the villa, and there was no one else. He led them to the basement of the small villa.

He switched on the light.

The basement was full of classified documents and a variety of weapons and ammunition, were neatly arranged on shelves on the wall. In Thailand, it’s not difficult to get hold of this stuff, even the villa’s surveillance was here, obviously, this was also the place where the middle-aged man worked.

They gathered around a table in the middle of the room.

A large map, spanning one and a half meters by one meter, was already placed on it. This was the topographic map of their territory, bought at a high price from the United States. The resolution was a bit low, but it still clearly displayed the terrain, rivers and towns.

The date on it marked a photo taken by the US military satellite half a month ago. 𝖓𝖔𝖛𝔭𝖚𝖇.𝔠𝖔𝔪

Pointing at a place on the map, the middle-aged man began to explain,

"This is where Ling usually operates, Xin’an Town, which is also the headquarters of all their administrative agencies, and their core area. There is no precise information on Ling’s residence yet because they are very alert and have caught three of our men, whose whereabouts are unknown. The current intelligence is all from the Thai businessmen who do business with Ling.

According to them, Ling travels with an escort of dozens of heavily armed soldiers. They are well-equipped and highly-alert. Not riding in ordinary cars, but three potassium transport vehicles, which are easy to recognise. However, which one Ling is in is random.

I must reiterate that this mission is extremely difficult. First, getting in there is a problem. Ling has issued identity cards to all the people in his territory. The formal procedures at the port include checks.

Since we’re currently unable to hack into their identity information management system, and can’t find anyone to buy from, or forge, therefore, the chance of slipping in through the trade port is extremely low, pretty much none."

When the middle-aged man finished, he glanced at the team leader. The faces of the others who heard were grave. This situation was really complex. Executing tasks in other countries often involved dealing with various types of traffickers, yet here, simply entering was already a difficult problem.

"Can’t we pretend to be traders or something to get in?" the team leader inquired, his brow furrowed.

The middle-aged man shook his head and spoke, "No, every business person has a specific pass and new passes for new merchants are only issued once a month. We’ve missed the deadline and there’s no way we can get anyone else’s pass in such a short time.

Even if we found someone, they can only bring in one assistant. We previously considered threatening them to take us in, but there are others besides us who have come here this time, and all those who we could manipulate have been taken by others first."

"Damn it, always stealing our business!" the skinny man irately cursed.

"This operation is too difficult. They must also be Ling’s key surveillance targets, so it doesn’t matter who’s fast or slow, as long as the mission is accomplished," the team leader stated calmly. What they don’t know about, the other assassin organizations wouldn’t quickly figure out either. Everyone is at the same starting point. By going in first, maybe they could even help draw attention.

"These are all the details we have on Ling. You can take them. Once you pick up your weapons and equipment, the rest is up to you," the middle-aged man said as he retrieved a small stack of documents from the side and placed them on the table.

He was merely a logistics liaison.

He had no right to know the final plan chosen by the assassins.

When the middle-aged man finished speaking.

The others did not say anything. They picked up the documents, collected a large amount of weapons and equipment from the basement and some ID cards for use in Thailand, made the necessary registrations, and then left the villa amidst the middle-aged man’s respectful farewell.

Watching as the small car disappeared from sight.

The middle-aged man heaved a sigh of relief, returned to the villa, and resumed his duties, uploading the registration information of the equipment picked up and their arrival time to the organization, thereby completing his task.

It wasn’t far from there.

The vehicle stopped by the roadside.

"Boss, when are we taking action?" The skinny man who always acted as the spokesperson for the other three asked.

"It’s now half-past nine in the morning. The people from the other assassin organizations won’t be able to enter there until around four in the afternoon at the earliest. We’ll set off in a while and go in from the Thai-Burma border at night. There’s no need to rush. Maybe the faster one runs, the faster they die," the team leader was not in favor of infiltrating directly.

But when he thought of Ling’s registration system, his head started to hurt. Forces like this were the hardest to deal with. Just like Huaxia, getting an identity there was extremely difficult. Every time they had a task in Huaxia, they kept their distance.

Also, there weren’t any pictures of Ling in the information, which made him want to swear.

What use was a portrait and a list of characteristics?

He felt that this mission

was the nastiest one in quite a while.

They didn’t say anything more. Their vehicle slowly hit the road. Because they were carrying a large number of weapons and equipment, and the ’Venomous Python’ didn’t have a base in Chiang Mai Prefecture in Thailand, they had no choice but to drive over.

...

Bangkok.

Inside Tang Kai’s villa.

He only went to bed late last night because he couldn’t get Ling out of his mind.

As soon as he woke up.

A call from Wangsa came.

"Boss Tang, it’s best to avoid going out these few days," was the first thing Wangsa said, causing Tang Kai to be startled.

"What happened?" Tang Kai enquired suspiciously.

Wangsa quickly explained, "Currently, several groups of assassins have been sent to try and assassinate Ling. I’ve heard from my father that they’ve already arrived in Thailand. I’m afraid they may also harm you."

"Shouldn’t they? I’m just a distributor," Tang Kai said, puzzled, but started worrying about Ling again.

Wangsa warned, "That may be the case, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. It’s best if you don’t go to the company these few days and increase the security around the villa. Or you could come stay with me for a few days. They wouldn’t dare lay a hand on me. As for the rest, it will depend on Ling. I hope nothing will happen."

"I’ll stay in my own home. The security here isn’t weak. Ling should be okay," Tang Kai declined.

Assassins usually operated based on principles. They wouldn’t randomly wander around his place, unless someone really issued an order to kill him. In that case, it wouldn’t matter where he was, as he couldn’t hide forever.

However, Tang Kai did heed the warning. He was determined to send his wife and daughter back home to study.

He couldn’t dismiss worrying about things on this side.

"Alright then, be careful, and the rest will be up to fate. The problem is that even if Ling deals with this wave of assassins, there might be another wave. And they have plenty of money. That’s the real trouble," Wangsa said, concerned.

"Did you tell Ling about the assassins?" Tang Kai asked.

"I told him when I called just a moment ago. I told him to be careful. He said that we shouldn’t worry, that he has a plan, but didn’t specify what the plan was," Wangsa said. He was the nearest to Ling, and he had already hurried back to the port, so he was of course the first to notify Ling.

"That’s good. Let’s wait and see," Tang Kai said.

"Okay. I’ll go look around the port. I’ll be in touch if anything comes up," Wangsa said. He was worried that the assassin might try to get through the port. Although even if they found them, they wouldn’t dare to expose them, he could still give some warning in advance.

"Alright, goodbye."
