At night, the men had to keep vigil at Hongwei’s house, and with Hongwei having to stay with the body, he could not spare time to take care of Tong Yao and Guo Jinnian. However, he had already notified the village head to let them stay at his house for the night.

"Who’s talking nonsense?" Si Xiaohui argued back logically: "Tell me, why would she have come with Hongwei so early in the morning if they weren’t together?
