Curious by what she heard her friends say, Jess forced herself to get up from her bed even though she still feels sleepy.

Jessuldn't sleep last night while thinking that tomorrow she will probably have her first time with Jeff. It was only around dawn that Jess managed to sleep due to tiredness.

With her eyes still half closed, Jess looks at the video on the smartphone that Kim and Alex were showing to her and sees the scene where two crazy topless masked dudes are kicking Trud, who's down on the ground.

Jeff, Kris, and Marc's assault against Trud and his two henchmen, Henry and Henri, was caught on CCTV of their hotel and was uploaded online, which went viral in less than an hour.

The video was clear enough to see Trud's face when he was pulled out of his car and beaten pathetically. However...

"How are you two sure that Jeff is among these three crazy topless masked dudes?"

At the vacant lot property beside the hotel they are staying, with trees that have been overgrown which is useful as a hiding spot, Jeff is currently waiting for Jess.

Jess arrived right before noon, wearing a disguise of a black hat and Jeff's beigelored jacket thatvered her short slip-white dress.

Upon seeing Jeff who's wearing a white hat paired with his red jacket and dark gray swim trunks and shirt, Jess swiftly runs towards him.

She must be worried about what happened. Or Jeff thought since he already expected that their assault on Trud was probably caught in video and now going viral on the internet.

Jeffuld use the power of the Returner Fantasy System to cause malfunction to all the CCTV of the hotel directed at the parking lot. But it would spend all of his remaining 1,100 USD if he did that. So Jeff just went with the plan tover their face. After all, he needs to hold onto that money for now in case something unexpected happens to Jess's Event as his Mission.

Jeff spreads both of his arms to weme Jess with an embrace, but Jess is not actually asking for an embrace.

The moment that Jess reached in front of Jeff, she made a sudden stop, ready her stance and threw a straight right punch to Jeff's face.

Jeff was able to dodge Jess's straight punch, but his left cheek was grazed by Jess's fist and became red.

Jess follow up with her snd strike. She swiftly closes the distance between her and Jeff. So close that their faces are right in front of each other. She then throws a left body blow.

This time, Jeff has no time to dodge and is left kneeling on the ground with his hands on his stomach, enduring the pain and wondering why Jess is mad again.

...Is she mad about what I did to Trud? Does Jess actually has feeling for that shit bastard?...

Jeff's questions were immediately answered as he raised his head to look at Jess.

Jess is standing in front of Jeff. Her hands and legs are trembling as she holds back the tears that are about tome out in her eyes.

"Why do you have to do something dangerous like that? What if something bad happened to you? What if you're the one taken by the police?"

With that thought, Jeff stood and embraced Jess.

Jess didn't resist as Jeff embraced her. She just wrapped her arms around Jeff and buried her face in his chest while hiding that she was crying for a bit.

After a few minutes, Jess has finally calmed down yet she and Jeff remain embracing each other.

Taking advantage of their romantic situation, Jeff asks Jess the thing he's wondering about.

"If you're worried about me, do you really have to punch me like that, Jess?"

"I'm gonna punch you when and wherever I want, idiot."

When Jess finally feels awkward about embracing Jeff and distances herself from him, that is when Jeff finally tells Jess why he called for her.

"Didn't I promise that we would spend more time together today?"

"But it's already noon, idiot. You already wasted a lot of time that we should be together."

"That's why we need to hurry, Jess. So where do you want to go? Do you want to explore the beach? Or should we just stay in my hotel room? Just the two of us."

"Ehh?..."

Jess looks at Jeff in surprise, for the obvious reason that Jeff is inviting Jess inside his hotel room where there would be only the two of them.

Something is definitely gonna happen between them if she agrees to go at his hotel room. Or so Jess thought with her face and ears starting to blush.

Jess definitely wanted to spend more time with Jeff. It would be more fun if they explore and have fun at the beach first, then just go to Jeff's hotel room in the evening to have...

Even though Jeff and his friends disguise themselves, there is still a chance that someone like Kim and Alex would rgnize them from the video. The hotel staff might be looking for them and the police might return to arrest them too.

That is what Jess thought regarding Jeff's situation.

But in fact, Jeff isnfident that no one would rgnize them with their nude disguise, or so he thought. Also, the hotel staff won't involve themselves that much since the police are already involved. As for the police, one of them is actually an alumni from Jeff's high school, and also a member of the Ironrod Legion.

Jeff, Kris, and Marcntacted him using theirnnection and Jeff's authority as the 2027 Ironrod Champion and reported Trud's illegal sex drug.

Jeff wanted to explain everything to Jess. But if he did, she would probably never agree to go and stay in his hotel room.

Jeff needs to bring Jess to a place where they can be alone for the rest of the day. After all, Jess's New Event includes taking her first time and having sex with her.

On what miracle would Jeff use tonvince Jess to do all those things with him without forcing her and taking advantage of Jess's pushover personality, Jeff needs to find a place first. And the best and easiest place available is his hotel room.

Kris and Marc have already agreed to Jeff's request to stay away from their hotel room even though Jeff didn't tell them the exact reason. As to where his friends would stay the night, Jeff can only pray that they would find a place.

Everything depends on Jess.

Seeing Jess hesitating to give an answer, Jeff tries tonvince her again.
