NOVPUBSpecifically, it was the demonmmanders who had therruption energy.
They were the ones that had pulled the other demons that were filled withrruption energy towards them, swallowing them into themselves to take theirrruption energy for themselves.
That had caused them to turn into large demons that were filled withrruption energy.
Not only did they take therruption energy that the other demons had, they also took their flesh and irporated it into themselves.
It was truly a sight that was hard to forget.
I just never expected to see it from this seed ofrruption.
When these two seeds ofrruption were left alone to their own devices, their first instinct was to actually attack and devour each other.
Both of them were trying to devour the other seed ofrruption and they had been weakened enough that it didn’t seem like either side was able to gain an advantage. They had both been purified to the point where they were too weak to overwhelm the other seed ofrruption.
But it didn’t seem like they were going to stop any time soon.
It almost seemed like it was instinct for them to attack and swallow each other. It was as if there was some kind of signal deep down inside of them that was telling them to do this.
"It really seems like their world is quite a ruthless one." Iuldn’t help muttering to myself when I saw the seeds ofrruption acting like this.
Eventually, I started using the ice around the seeds ofrruption to purify them again. Ofurse, I made sure to do it evenly so that both sides lost power at the same time, so that neither of the seeds ofrruptionuld overwhelm each other.
Slowly, they had to release each other because they were being purified and just didn’t have the power to keep attacking each other like this.
After releasing each other, they were suppressed by the divine ice around them until they went back into a dormant state again.
With the way that the ice suppressed them, it was almost as if they had been put into some kind of cryogenic sleep.
I had no doubt that if I removed the ice, then they would rver theirrruption energy and try to devour each other again.
But as I looked at these two seeds ofrruption in front of me, there was a part of me thatuldn’t help wondering what would happen if they were to devour each other.
Would they just bme stronger, or would they transform into something else like the demonmmanders had done.
Perhaps this was the way to make the seeds sprout?
Even though I had denied Puffer’s request to grow the seeds, that didn’t mean that I wasn’t curious about this. I was also wondering what would happen if these seeds ofrruption were to sprout and grow.
After looking at them for a bit, I suddenly waved my hand and the ice weakened.
As soon as the ice weakened, therruption energyming from the seeds ofrruption grew again and they started to bme active once more. Once they became active, the seeds ofrruption did the same thing as before as they started to try devouring each other.
Only this time…
"Let me give you a hand." I said under my breath before waving my hand again.
As soon as I did, one of the seeds ofrruption suddenly started to falter.
That was because I increased the power of the divine ice around it and only it. I was only suppressing one of the seeds ofrruption instead of both of them.
With this increased suppression on one of the seeds ofrruption, it became weaker than the other one and eventually it was swallowed by the other seed ofrruption.
Once the seed ofrruption wrapped the other seed ofrruption up in itsrruption energy, it suddenly pulled that other seed ofrruption over and fused with it.
It seemed like it was a waste of time since the seeds ofrruptionuld have fused at any time with the way that they were fusing.
"Is it a way to establish who would remain? Do these seeds ofrruption actually havensciousness? It must be this for them to do something like this, right?" Those were all the questions that were passing through my mind, but it wasn’t as if there was anyone that Iuld ask these questions to.
So in the end, I just silently watched as the seeds ofrruption finishedmbining themselves. 𝓃ℴ𝓋𝓹𝓊𝓫.𝒸𝓸𝓂
When theymbined, it was as I expected.
The newly formed seed ofrruption had actually sprouted and released a single sprout with a leaf on it. However, though it seemed harmless because it only had a single sprout, therruption energy that it released was more than double what it released before.
It was just that in the face of divine energy, ituldn’t do anything to break out.
"Go to sleep." I said before increasing the ice around it, suppressing the sprouted seed ofrruption until it stopped releasingrruption energy. I put it back into cryogenic sleep like this.
After that, Impressed the ice that was around it before sealing it inside of a layer of dirt.
I used this double layer seal to make sure that the sprouted seed ofrruption wouldn’t be able to do anything to break out.
"They swallow each other to grow…they truly are ruthless." Iuldn’t help saying to myself after putting the seed ofrruption away.
Though I had learned that they were able to assimilate each other to bme stronger, that didn’t mean that I had learned anything about therruption energy itself.
I didn’t learn anything about what it was or where it came from.
So ituld be said that this was a bit of a failure.
"Perhaps if I gather more, I’ll be able to find something." That dangerous thought filled my mind.
