The elder had many other questions that she wanted to ask, but she dropped this matter in the end.

The way that she looked at me was as if she didn't trust the things that I said.

Well, it wasn't exactly that she didn't trust me, it was just that she wanted a second opinion.

Preferably a more educated opinion than mine.

In a roundabout way, she was calling me a bit dumb. But it wasn't as if I could deny this since this was indeed fact to a certain extent.

When it came to this matter, I really wasn't certain what the situation with the nobles and rich people would be like. The only real thing that I was relying on was my knowledge that people would pay for things that were rare.

In terms of rarity, there was nothing more rare than the chance to enter the Elven Kingdom.

Since she dropped the matter, I didn't keep talking about it either.

This was something for the people that were smart enough to make it work out to work out.

It was good enough that I had given the idea. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝑏.𝘤𝘰𝑚

Instead of looking at this place, I went to a completely different place.

This wasn't actually a place that was related to what we were doing, this was a place that was in the middle of the Elven Kingdom.

It wasn't the capital, it was just one of the many villages that were scattered all over the Elven Kingdom.

After the elves that had been accused of being traitors had been released from the mines and the manors of the high elves, they returned to the villages that they came from.

That included this village that we were currently visiting.

Of course, no one knew that we were visiting this place.

Before coming here, I had Aisha use the same illusion spell as before to hide us from them so we could move through this village without being recognized.

That was because there was only one thing that I was here for.

"Dad, what should we hunt for today?"

"Don't run so fast or you'll fall. Let's get some deer for your mom today. She asked us to get some for her yesterday."

"Anyone want to trade some berries for some squirrel meat? I've been wanting to try a new recipe!"

It was just like any other village.

No, it was even more simple than other villages since these elves didn't have the same advancements as the humans did. They lived more with nature than humans did, which meant that they had even less utilities than what a normal human villager would have.

But it was a beautiful scene nonetheless.

"Are you done watching?" Aisha suddenly asked from behind me.

I looked at her and said, "What do you think I came here for in the first place?"

Aisha was a bit caught off guard when she heard this before she looked at me with a strange look. There was a bit of confusion in her eyes, but there was also a trace of what seemed to be understanding.

It seemed that there was a part of her that did kind of understand what I meant by this.

So she slowly looked at the village that was in front of us.

She watched the villagers moving through the village and there was a change in her expression.

But in the end, she just said, "Everyone has their own lives, you should know that already."

I didn't say anything else, but just continued to watch these elven villagers make their way through the village.

After a while, Aisha finally said, "I'll do what I can for them, but you should know what kind of person I am. I won't be able to remain in one place for long, so that's just how it will be."

I didn't say anything as I looked at the elder and the High Priestess.

The two of them just shook their heads to show that they didn't know what to do either.

Since that was the case, I didn't say anything else about this.

Instead, I just said, "Let's just enjoy the view then."

Aisha gave a nod, but then she suddenly moved closer which put an awkward look on my face.

There was a part of me that wanted to move away, but then I remembered what I promised.

"Does it still count here?" I had to raise this question, but I couldn't say it out loud with the way that she looked at me.

In fact, the way that she looked at me was already enough to give me an answer.

So all I could do was sit there awkwardly while she moved closer to me.

The elder looked at me with a strange look while the High Priestess had a faint smile on her face.

I really couldn't tell them about the deal that I had made with Aisha, so all I could do was endure those looks.

Though I knew that it would be different if Klein and the others were here.

Those guys just couldn't keep their mouths shut.

After she did this for a while, I said, "Should we head back then? I'm sure that there's plenty of things that you still have to do."

Aisha looked at me as if she wasn't happy about this, but she didn't complain.

Just like this, we made our way back to the Elven Kingdom's capital.

Now that their problems were solved, it was time for me to head back to the Kite Kingdom.

Though there were a few extra people that I didn't expect to come with us that joined our group.

Even if I wanted to leave them behind, it didn't seem like they were going to listen and there was a good reason for them coming along.

So in the end, there was nothing that I could do other than let them come back to the Kite Kingdom with us.

Though I really didn't want to.
