NOVPUBLin Lan calmed down and took a walk outside. There were drifting clouds in the sky that covered the moon. It was very dark outside without any lights illuminating her path, but she wouldn’t head the wrong way even if she closed her eyes.
When she reached the intersection, she saw a tall black figure approaching in front of her before she immediately ran over and said happily, “Third Brother, you are back.”
She stretched out her hand to pull his arm. As soon as she got closer and before she touched the person, she immediately knew she had mistaken someone else for Han Qingsong and quickly stepped back, “Who is it?”
The man said, “I’m Han Qingfeng.”
Lin Lan, “What are you doing here?”
Up front, Lin Lan’s family was the only one in the area. A section of the way across the street to the east stood Eldest Sister-in-law Han’s house. There were no residents on either side of her house either and more people were only evident towards the back.
Most people didn’t come around here at night since they were always walking from the back. After all, there were many people and the lights were brighter there. Moreover, it would be a waste of time to go around a house in the brigade headquarters. Han Qingfeng said, “I came from the Brigade Headquarters and was going to head back.”

Han Qingfeng stood for a moment and watched her figure melt into the darkness before heading northwards.
Lin Lan strolled around in front of her house. After a while, some footsteps sounded from the east and Lin Lan shouted, “Third Brother?”
Han Qingsong’s voice sounded from the darkness, “It’s me.”
Lin Lan then ran over and held his hand fiercely to try and forget her embarrassment! Although it was dark, how could she have recognised the wrong person? It was so inappropriate! 𝑛𝘰𝘷𝑝𝘶𝑏.𝑐𝘰𝘮

Han Qingsong immediately noticed something was amiss, “What’s wrong?”

Han Qingsong immediately stopped moving before he hooked her waist, held the back of her head and kissed her. His actions have always been louder than his words. As soon as she said she missed him, he immediately gave a practical response to her words.
Lin Lan felt dizzy from being kissed as the night wind blew in gusts, almost in sync with her heart rate.
Finally, he simply picked her up and said, “It’s so dark, so I might as well teach you how to swim right now.”
During this era, there was no plastic pollution or broken glass in the water. Hence, the river water was both clean and clear, which made nightly swimming sessions alright. The main reason for her to not go during the day was because it was not a good idea for her to wear her swimsuit out in broad daylight. At night, the idea didn’t seem too bad since the river was near her place.
