NOVPUBTraining Room:
Inside the room, Jeremy has been training with his new ability. During the experiment, he came across a new way to use the starlight ability.
He can smear the starlight energy on the single-edged katana blade. So he tried to coat the handgun bullets with starlight energy in the same manner.
After a few days of continuous attempts, he successfully fired the bullets coated with starlight energy.
When he tested them on dummies, the targeted spot was obliterated. He gave it a new name: Starlight Bullet.
He couldn't help but imagine firing the starlight bullets at the corrupted beasts. He had no doubt that the beasts would be destroyed.
Unfortunately, he can't go outside. Elder Derek had asked him to stay here. But it's been more than a week. He is still Tier-2, 1st Rank - Mid Stage.
Ever since he left the forbidden area, his progress has slowed down. Even his unknown egg lifeline beast has stopped absorbing natural energy from the outside, as if it dislikes the taste.
Without getting feedback from the lifeline beast, he won't evolve quickly. Jeremy then shakes his head, casting aside these thoughts.

In the evening, he exited the training room and started going back to the dorm room. While walking on the footpath, he heard the conversation of the students.
"May Lindsey has reached the Tier-1 limit. She is the first beast tamer among the first year to do so."
"Damn!"
"Doesn't mean she will become a Tier-2 Beast Tamer before the end of this year."
"It's too awesome!"
"It's the power of S-Grade Talent."
"What about Victor Scott?"
"He has been training with his family lately. No one knows about his real strength."
"I guess his strength must not be weaker either."
Jeremy couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in surprise. He had thought he had left them behind. To think they were just a step away. He thinks he underestimated the S-Grade Talent.
If not for the Forbidden Area, he would have been chasing their backs. He also feels glad that he didn't reveal his true strength.
Otherwise, he would have made more enemies. Jeremy feels a sense of urgency. He likes to take the lead. He doesn't want the two S-Graders to surpass him.
Soon, he returned to his dorm room.
Not long after, he received a message from both Daniel and Betsy. He read the message, and his expression changed the next second.
May Lindsey has called for a rematch. She wants to settle the score with him.
"Looks like the strength of the Tier-1 limit boosted her confidence," Jeremy thought.
He doesn't want to participate. Then everyone will find out his real strength. It would deal a great blow to the S-Graders. Then his strength would attract the attention of unwanted people.
He doesn't want to go through all of this. So he chooses to reject the duel. He has a lot more things to do. He wants to practice his sword and handgun skills in the wilderness.
Jeremy Night decides to find a way to handle it later.

The next morning,
When Jeremy reached his class, he saw all three of them discussing something. He greeted them inside before sitting in his seat.
He could see a lot of questions in Betsy, Daniel, and Instructor Jacob's eyes.
"Are you going to fight against her?" Jacob asked.
"No," he replied.
"What?"
"Brother, are you not interested?" Daniel asked out of curiosity.
Even Betsy was surprised.
Jeremy is not going to tell them the truth. If they learned about his true strength, they would be scared out of their wits.
"Don't forget, there are hidden enemies after my life. If I defeat May Lindsey, then the Lindsey Family will target me," Jeremy said in a serious tone.
Hearing that, the faces of the three of them showed some understanding.
Buzz!
Jacob's device buzzes with a sound. He sees the message.
"F@ck," he utters a foul word.
Three of their gazes turn towards him. It's rare for Instructor Jacob to lose his composure.
Jacob raised his head and looked at the three of them. His gaze fell on Jeremy Night.
Jeremy furrows his eyebrows. He thinks it has to do with May Lindsey's challenge. But he waits to listen to the Instructor.
"Victor Scott has also issued a challenge against you," Jacob said in a serious tone.
Gasp!
"What? Victor Scott?" Daniel took a sharp breath.
Even Betsy sat up straight. Today, two S-Graders have issued a challenge against Jeremy Night. Is it a coincidence?
Jeremy's eyes flickered with surprise as well. He hadn't expected Victor Scott to wake up as well. He had thought Victor was not interested in this challenge stuff.
Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. It could be possible that Scott Family wanted to do something to him. Then he shakes his head.
He had not exposed his ability or true strength. There is no reason for the Scott Family to target him. Besides, the senior students and the families behind them were already targeting him.
There is no need for the Victor Family to get involved.
"Jeremy, what are you going to do?" Jacob asked.
"I'm not going to fight against them," Jeremy replied.
He then looked at the Instructor and said, "I'm going to visit my parents."
"Impossible," Jacob uttered.
"You can't leave without getting permission," Jacob said.
Daniel and Betsy were confused. This conversation occurred not long ago. They thought Jeremy had already paid a visit to his family.
Jacob and Jeremy also saw their reaction. Seeing that, Jeremy stopped pressing further. Then he thought of an excuse before saying, "Maybe Captain Nathan can help me."
"Let's go to Elder Derek's place," Jacob replied. He is not the one who is going to make the decision.
Betsy and Daniel stood up to leave as well. They have their own daily schedule. In the STRIKER Department, everyone does self-study and training.
It didn't take long for them to get to Elder Derek's office. When they went inside, as usual, he was busy looking at the monitor and going through reports.
