Lin Shen fought and killed with a frenzied ferocity, feeling not a hint of pity for the Ultra-Burn Tribe that had invaded the Human Race's mother planet.
Under the Cosmic Law—mighty prevailed. If he couldn't reclaim the teleporter, the Human Race's mother planet was doomed to fall, ending in a fate far worse than that of the Ultra-Burn Tribe.
The battlefield was no place for mercy.
To Lin's surprise, despite his rampant slaughter, the Ultra-Burn Warriors showed no fear as they charged at him relentlessly, determined to fight to the death.
Their eyes were bloodshot, and they seemed to rush at him as if they were insane.
Before Lin could advance, another Corps rushed over.
This time, the Corps that arrived was different from the previous two; the Life Bases they conjured glowed like lanterns, emitting a strange red light.
Bathed in that red glow, Lin immediately felt his strength and speed greatly diminish.
"A minor tribe like the Ultra-Burn has so many support Corps warriors. I dread to think how terrifying the major tribes would be if they fought as a Corps," Lin thought grimly.
The Elders of the Elders' Council sighed with relief upon seeing Lin's momentum wane.
Other Corps were also on their way, and Lin was bound to be trapped and killed.
Lin knew that if this continued, there was no way he could kill off all the Ultra-Burn Warriors of the Corps.
He could only be thankful that most of the Nirvana Beings had gone to the Human Race's mother planet; otherwise, his situation would only be worse.
Choosing not to continue the battle, Lin sheathed his Scrap Sword at his waist and grabbed the returning Inheritance Fan, fiercely fanning it towards the enemy before him.
A sweeping gust of wind knocked the flying Ultra-Burning Corps out of the sky—they lost their ability to fly and plummeted down like raindrops.
With the Folding Fan in hand, Lin swept it back and forth, causing the surrounding Ultra-Burn Warriors to topple over one after another.
As Lin charged and fanned vigorously, his Shockfall Two Style disabled the flying ability of the onrushing Ultra-Burn Warriors, leaving them unable to block his charge, and he forcefully broke through.
The Life Bases that rained down from the sky were also deflected by Lin's fan, unable to harm him.
The warriors and the leaders of the Corps were both shocked and angry, as they had never witnessed such bizarre abilities.
Although they had merely fallen without injury, they were unable to stop Lin.
The Elders were aghast, watching helplessly as Lin broke through their encirclement and headed towards the military district.
"Stop him... We must stop him at all costs..." the Great Elder said darkly.
"Great Elder, let us join the battle," a voice rang out from a corner of the conference hall.
The Elders turned to see a young and tall Ultra-Burn Warrior standing up.
"Aode Biao... it's not time for you to fight yet..." The Great Elder frowned.
"That Lin Shen has peculiar skills. Despite the numbers of a normal Corps, it won't be easy to stop him. If he destroys the teleporter, so many of our brave warriors will be permanently trapped on the Human Race's mother planet. We can't afford such a loss," Aode Biao said with a calm demeanor. "The Elders need not worry. Having observed him for so long, I understand him well and am confident I can break his skills. If we join the battle together, we can put him to death immediately, and he won't have the opportunity to run rampant on our Ultra-Burn mother planet."
"How confident are you?" the Great Elder asked Aode Biao, locking eyes with him.
"Completely confident," Aode Biao replied.
"Good, then let's go to battle," the Great Elder declared, his gaze sweeping over the many faces of the elders. Seeing no objections, he gave the order.
"Certainly, your expectations shall not be disappointed," Aode Biao strode out, followed by a group of Nirvana Beings.
These Nirvana Beings had followed Aode Biao to the Chaotic Region Star System in search of the old general and had just undergone Nirvana in the Nirvana Land.
Although they had only recently achieved Nirvana, they had all followed the path of the Great Nirvana, whereas most Nirvana Beings of the Ultra-Burn Tribe were of the Minor Nirvana.
The same number of Nirvana processes notwithstanding, typically Minor Nirvana couldn't compare to the Great Nirvana. Moreover, they had also received guidance from the old general, and their abilities and knowledge were beyond those of the average Ultra-Burn Tribe Nirvana Beings.
This time, in attacking the Human Race's mother planet, the Ultra-Burn Tribe had intentionally kept them back and did not let them join the fight, planning to cultivate them as a core force for the Ultra-Burn Tribe.
This proactive request from Aode Biao and his group to join the battle was also the time for the Ultra-Burn Tribe's leadership to test their abilities.
The group of elders weren't too worried; although Lin Shen's abilities were mysterious, it was quite unlikely for him to kill more than fifty Nirvana Beings.
Even if they couldn't stop Lin Shen, they would not be in danger of losing their lives. It was just a form of training for them.
Furthermore, other Corps were also rushing to the military district. As long as Aode Biao and his team could delay Lin Shen for a while, the combined forces of the various Corps would overwhelm Lin Shen, no matter how strong he might be.
Thinking of this, the Great Elder felt some unease. After pondering, he took out a communicator and dialed a number.
Soon, the communicator connected, projecting the image of a white-haired Minotaur.
"Little Cow, what has happened?" The Great Elder, now in his twilight years, was addressed as Little Cow by the white-haired Minotaur, causing the other elders' expressions to turn somewhat odd.
"Old General, a Human has intruded on our mother planet, attempting to destroy our teleporter," said the Great Elder nonchalantly, continuing, "Aode Biao and the others have already gone to intercept."
Upon hearing this, the white-haired Minotaur laughed and said, "It seems your security is not tight enough, letting someone catch a hint. How many Humans have come, and how many are Nirvana Beings?"
"Just one," stated the Great Elder.
"Just one Nirvana Being?" The white-haired Minotaur was momentarily stunned, asking in confusion, "Then how many Humans have come?"
"Just one," the Great Elder repeated, "Only one Human has come—that is Lin Shen, the Dean of the Celestial Master Institute of the Celestial Race. If we were to kill him, the Celestial Race might require your intervention, Old General..."
"Foolish bravado. Does he really think that with the Celestial Race to back him, he can bully the Ultra-Burn Tribe? Show no mercy; kill him. I will handle the Celestial Race," the white-haired Minotaur stated. "Send me the video feed. I want to see how Aode Biao and those youngsters perform." Discover more stories at Freewebnovel
The Great Elder breathed a sigh of relief and hastily ordered someone to sync the outside video feed.
Lin Shen had already broken through the encirclement of the Corps. The Shockfall Two Style was indeed quite useful—conquering without fighting.
Even the Nirvana Beings of the Ultra-Burn Tribe lost their ability to fly under the Shockfall Two Style, unable to stop him.
The only pity was that the Shockfall Two Style had no lethal force, purely restricting flight.
He had just been flying for a short while when suddenly he saw beams of light shooting into the sky ahead. Dozens of Nirvana Beings flew into the air, blocking all of Lin Shen's escape routes.
"How does the Ultra-Burn Tribe still have so many Nirvana Beings?" Lin Shen was slightly surprised. The depth of the Ultra-Burn Tribe was greater than described in the intelligence reports, something he had not anticipated.
