As Prince Zepharion's army made a full retreat after his recent loss in a battle against Thirteen, the Wanderers at the Central Plains were about to clash with the armies of ten Jinn Factions.

Douglas and all the powerhouses present were tasked to defend the Ravenhold Fortress.

They understood they would not be able to hold the line for a long time, as it was simply impossible. But their only mission was to annihilate as many Jinns as possible and give their higher-ups enough reason to hesitate advancing westward.

"How far are they from the Fortress?" Renz asked one of his Aides inside the command center.

"They're still forty miles away, Sir!" the Aide reported.

"Good." Renz nodded. "Tell the Death Reapers to give them hell!"

"Understood!" the Aide replied.

A siren blared within the Fortress City, which was a signal for the Death Reapers to make their move.

"Fire the Mephisto Missiles!" Douglas ordered.

The Cygni Coalition had managed to create six of these missiles that were used in the Rigel Continent.

It was strong enough to deal fatal Injuries to Rank 8 Sovereigns, and deal serious injuries to Rank 9 Sovereigns.

In this confrontation, Douglas was only authorized to use two of them, for the last four would have to be saved for when they make their last stand.

Once the two missiles were launched, the Death Reapers also fired hundreds of missiles. Although not as powerful as Mephisto, they could still decimate any Jinns that were unlucky enough to get hit by their attacks.

"Do you hear something?" the one leading the Jinn Coalition of ten armies asked his subordinate because he was hearing a whistling sound from somewhere.

"No, Master," the subordinate replied. "I don't hear anyt—"

Before the Jinn could even finish whatever he was going to say, a powerful explosion rocked their army's formation, killing countless Jinn as they were trapped in a blazing inferno.

One of the Rank 9 Sovereigns marching with the army roared in pain as the first Mephisto Missile found its first high-profile victim.

Seconds later, another loud explosion reverberated in the surroundings, and once again, another Rank 9 Sovereign was hit directly by the powerful Anti-Sovereign Missile.

Before the Jinn Army could react to the sudden devastation that had fallen onto them, their Captains, who could fly, saw several missiles headed in their direction.

"Intercept those things!" a Harpy Queen shouted.

Loud booms spread on the battlefield as dozens of missiles were successfully intercepted.

However, more of these missiles managed to hit their targets and exploded in a blaze of glory.

"Damn it!" the Prince of Arborea, Prince Elowen, cursed out loud. "Defensive formations! Block those things with everything you got!"

The Jinns who specialized in defense moved forward and tanked the attacks with their bodies.

Those who were capable of range attacks unleashed their own barrage to intercept and prevent the weapons of destruction from decimating their forces.

But this aerial bombardment of the Death Reapers wouldn't be ending soon.

During the period of time when everyone was ordered to remain in their respective cities, the Central Government and the Cygni Coalition had spent their time mining precious ores and other resources.

They then used them to craft powerful weapons, as well as ammunition, which they were now using in full.

Even as the battle raged, the production of weapons and ammunition was still well underway. This was what gave Renz the confidence to order the Death Reapers to use up all the missiles and artillery shells in their possession.

They needed to give the Jinn Army a strong impression, making them feel that their opponents weren't insects that they could crush so easily.

When the first two Mephisto Missiles had seriously injured two Rank 9 Sovereigns, the other eight raised their defenses or did evasive maneuvers.

None of them advanced, fearing that the Wanderers might have other weapons that could potentially kill them.

As such, they had no choice but to cast their defensive skills and abilities to protect the rest of their comrades from the long-distance bombardment that they were facing.

Douglas, Trevor, and Wendell, who were standing on the ramparts of the Fortress City, watched the battlefield through the eyes of their surveillance drones.

Although their bombardment was effective, the Jinns were able to regain their composure after their initial surprise faded.

While the missiles were still able to kill dozens of Jinns, more of them were being intercepted and destroyed before they could further decrease the number of enemies.

"Stop the attacks!" Douglas ordered.

As soon as the order was given, the bombardment stopped.

This all-out attack lasted for a few minutes, and nearly half of their stockpile of ammunition had been used already.

"Bring out the Majin Cannons!"

This was one of the Trump Cards that Thirteen had shared with the Central Government.

Only five of them existed in the world at the moment, and three out of those five cannons were brought to Ravenhold Fortress for the sake of this war.

Douglas had been granted full authority over their use, but he was warned that these Majin Cannons could only fire five times before they overheat.

Simply put, they were the nerfed version of the cannons of Thirteen's giant submarine, Nautilus. Still, not even Rank 9 Sovereigns would feel safe after getting hit by one of their beam attacks.

Somewhere in the Sirius Continent…

"The war has finally started," Norman said in a serious tone. "Now is the perfect time to strike."

Aaron nodded before turning to face the army of the Ashford Clan.

"Everyone, the time to rid the world of our enemies has come!" Aaron shouted. "Prepare for war! We are heading to the Aldebaran Continent!"

More than half of the soldiers under the command of the Ashford Clan showed confusion. They find it difficult to understand why they were being sent to the Aldebaran Continent instead of the Cygni Continent, where the war was currently taking place.

In order to ensure that no one would leak any information about their plans, Aaron and Norman only told their patriarchs about it.

They then ordered their soldiers to prepare themselves to mobilize anytime, and now was the time to make it happen.

Half an hour later, countless planes carrying thousands of soldiers left the Airports of the Ashford and Stallard Clans and headed to the Aldebaran Continent.

Aaron and Norman were both inside the biggest plane that left the airbase.

The trump card the Ashford Clan had prepared was stored inside this plane, so Aaron and Norman were inside to safeguard it from any attacks until they reached their destination.

Since everyone was busy fighting in the war and had no time to focus on other matters, the two Monarch Clans took this opportunity to rid themselves of the thorns that stood in their way.

"I'm already looking forward to seeing how Zion and Arthur will react after they discover that there is no one waiting for them back home," Norman said.

"We will take key figures as hostages so we can control the two of them," Aaron stated. "Once they are working for us, even the Central Government will hesitate to oppose us in fear that Zion and Arthur would turn their backs against them."

"You really are merciless," Norman commented. "But I like it this way. They pulled us into the mud this time. This is just the consequences of their stupidity."

Aaron nodded because he wholeheartedly agreed with Norman's words.

"If they want someone to blame, they should blame themselves for picking the wrong enemy," Aaron stated. "Did they really think that we'll just let them trample us like doormats? The two of them are courting death."

Norman chuckled because he could already see the outcome of their blitzkrieg attack.

Even if Arthur was there to defend his people, he would still not be able to stop this calamity from happening to his family.

At least, that was what the two Monarchs believed.

Lawrence, who had been informed by the movements of the two Clans, sighed inside his office.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Zion," Lawrence muttered as he looked outside his window.

Zion had warned him not to do anything once he discovered that the Ashford and Stallard Clans were headed to the Aldebaran Continent.

"Everything is going to be fine. I prepared a little surprise for those two monkeys."

Those were the words that Zion had left him.

Even so, Lawrence chose to believe that the teenage boy really had a plan in mind to defend his family, who were about to face the full might of the two Monarch Clans.
