Xiao Wu was being rigged with holes by all the questions the others asked her question upon a question on how the hell she had made it back safetly by herself. Xiao Wu didn't dare bothering the Twins after most questions had been answered and merely sat down next to

the Twins.

When Tang San, still leaning against Tang Yin, was starting to stir, blood-like mist oozed out from his body as he convulsed next to her.

Tang Yin cursed and then took him into her arms, hugging him tightly.

He was trying to exceed his limits by a considerable margin here, and if he failed, he would die; that much was obvious. She grabbed him tighter, trying to engulf him in her own spirit power, trying to give him some of hers to help.

They were twins, so it was not an impossibility for her to succeed. The possibility existed. She closed her eyes, focusing completely on her brother to help him to the best of her abilities.

She grasped him tighter when another tremor went though his body, gasping his eyes turned into two black orbs as he shook like a leaf in her arms. She gritted her teeth and silently held on to him as none of them dared take a step closer to them. Tang San let out a scream, a painful wail that was filled with pain as on his back spider-like legs burst forward and tore his clothing. Their sharp edges cutting Tang Yin's skin, they felt the poison inside them run through her hands into her body when it slowly fainted away at the sense of her spirit power.

Still, she didn't dare let go of her brother as blood dripped from her hands. Whispering.

"Life, Life, you have to make it. Survive."

He suddenly started to emit a faint purple glow, his hair dark like a nightshade, as he gasped for air and convulsed once again in Tang Yin's arms, a vicious tremble going through him. Xiao Wu was close to them, not daring to touch them folding her hand as if praying.

"He is not going to turn into a giant spider, is he?" Oscar muttered, and Xiao Wu glared at him with a death glare at those wirds of his. This was not the moment for jokes.

The longer it took, the more the faint purple glow vanished, and his body stilled in Tang Yins arms.

Blue Silver grass grew all around the Tang Twins, curling around them, caressing them, and cocooning the two of them. Tang Yin hugged her brother, holding him tightly as she sprayed to whatever god came into her mind.

The tremors stilled. Tang Yin's purple hands turned clear, and the spider legs on Tang San's back vanished into the air slowly but certainly. Still, they were together as the tremors finally stopped, and Tang San was returning to being a lip body in Tang Yin's arms. She carefully laid him down, three rings glowing like glittering beacons around them, moving up and down gently.

"He's done it-" Zhao Wuji said, eyes on the Tang Siblings. "He actually did it."

Xiao Wu let out a cry of relief as she got closer to the twins and silently asked Tang Yin for permission. Yin looked at her and then nodded after a small hesitation as Xiao Wu settled down. Yin gently placed Tang San's head on Xiao Wu's lap, holding onto his hand, refusing to let go of it.

"He didn't die." Xiao Wu said, and Tang Yin snorted.

"I knew that," She muttered, grabbing his hand tighter. "Far too stubborn"

Despite everything, Xiao Wu had to smile at those words. He was too stubborn, and that was right indeed. They noted he was moving, slowly but surely, his eyes fluttering again. As he opened them, he looked upwards and then croaked.

"Xiao Wu...?" Xiao Wu smiled her most dazzling smile at him, and his head lolled aside as he saw his sister and then sighed. "Sis...."

"Yeah?" She asked him, and he grunted rather ungracefully. "You look horrible."

Tang Yin felt stunned. That. That was what he said after she had just covered his ass, and he had almost died.

That she looked horrible?

"You should get a medic to check you out." He then added his voice barely there, and Tang Yin was about to strangle him when Xiao Wu bowed down and pecked him on the temple with a smile. He was stunned into silence as he looked at her. "Are you an illusion, or have you really made it back?" He asked her. Xiao Wu huffed and let out a gentle laugh.

"I am real." She told him. "I am fine, you idiot."

"I am sorry." He muttered. "I wasn't strong enough to protect you."

Xiao Wu stared at him, just as flabbergasted as Tang Yin. The two looked at each other, silently communicating. Xiao Wu smiled at him.

"I am just happy you are safe, " she said and then smiled. And you may want to get dressed."

Tang San blinked at her and then looked at himself, noting he was indeed topless with mostly torn pants, which did not leave much to the imagination. Xiao Wu turned away, blushing. He let out a hum and was up and dressed in record time.

Tang Yin was instead left laughing at seeing him dressed up all prim and proper, blushing in embarrassment. Seeing her laugh, he grumbled, "You could have told me sooner."

"What?" She grinned. "Nothing I haven't seen yet."

Tang San stilled and internally agreed. There was really nothing she hadn't seen yet. Their father had not made a big distinction between them when he had taken care of them as babies. Even later, they were twins, and the only opportunity to bathe had been in the nearby river or in a tiny bathtub during winter.

"Still. At least act embarrassed." He grumbled, earning laughs from everyone. Then he walked closer to her and looked at her. "You should get some sleep."

"I should get more than sleep." She muttered. "Three times, you can guess who will be carrying me home. Cuz I ain't running anywhere anymore today."

"Sure." He muttered when Zhao Wuji picked the two of them up.

"You two are not going anywhere but my back, and we are heading back to the School."
