The one year left went by fast and today just like any other day for the resident of Nana, all mana user simultaneously felt restraint in the mana element around them, all most like a superior suddenly appeared and everything went back no order, the freely reigning elements that went wild after the gods went to sleep all calm down, they were still present but now more in order. 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙥𝙪𝙗.𝒄𝙤𝙢
An outside space view of the planet of Nana will show how huge the planet has gotten from its last previous sight. If the planet Nana was two times bigger than earth where Ikenga was from then the planet is now five times bigger. The first of the gods to wake up was Crepuscular, who there was no bright light or explosion of light to signify his awakening but those deep down in the plane felt the temperature increase a lot and it was steadily rising.
In response to that was a slight hum from the small moon of the two moons where the goddess Mahu resides, an ethereal glow bloomed from the moon, which brought with it a cooling feeling to the people down on the planet. The only ones not bothered and rejoicing at the head were the people of the Harpies kingdom, who felt it deep in their blood that their progenitor is awakening.
Once the moon goddess began awakening, Ikenga in his realm also began awakening, his eyebrows fluttering as he gradually woke up, the resident of the planet was also seeing the effect of his awakening as plants quickly grew exceeding their normal height, people who had plants in their room quickly threw them out from the nearest window as the flower and plants they have for decoration is now threatening to destroy and mess up their room.
The growth of plants also brought with it a feeling of coolness to them people as the plants were happily taking in the sunlight from the sun, all of sudden the people of the planet saw the sky darkening quickly covered with clouds as blocking the view and shine of the sun and moon, with the cloud appearing wild raging wind began blowing everywhere, Lightning raging deep in the clouds some escaping it and falling down to the earth, accompanying it was the deafening sound of lightning.
Nana in her ethereal space all saw this happening, sighed "she had a feeling something like this will happen"
"They have grown strong" She thought to herself, she knew that the problem accompanying their awakening wasn’t on purpose but the fact their strength grew too much in their sleep and them awakening up without reigning in their power is bringing about the destruction of their world.
Thinking of that the last god woke up which was Keles, the sign showed immediately with a huge gate to the underworld opening up high in the sky, clear enough for everyone in the plane to see, out of curiosity most looked up to the sky only to be stuck that was as there soul left their body heading for the gate.
Nana, seeing that quickly, spoke to the gods through her connection "Children stop, Wake up immediately. I know the surge of power is intoxicating but if you continue this way, The world you are supposed to protect will have no one left in it for you to protect"
The gods simultaneously heard that and with their new omniscient like power, they immediately saw what was happening outside the whole world from their realm, People were freezing over from Mahu’s power, while people are looking parched and running for water with Crepuscular power even his children are now troubled by the heat, Ikenga saw how huge trees were sprouting from up under people houses tearing it apart and causing the soil around to break apart.
Jaws meanwhile from his realm saw how Lightning was raining down everywhere, trees being uprooted, tornadoes and people being pulled by the wind even a huge whirlpool is forming on the seas, Keles also saw how people were quickly dying just by gazing into the underworld.
Almost simultaneously, the gods all woke up with a jolt as the effect on the outside world quickly died down. Once the effect died down, Nana from her realm suddenly paused as her eyes started glowing golden but soon went away.
"New rule huh?" She just received a warning and message from a higher power, waving her hand from the ethereal space, everything outside the plane went back to the way it was before, no houses were destroyed no body was frozen over, the only thing that didn’t go back to normal where does that stood still looking up to the sky.
Nana can do a lot of things in her world but Playing with bringing back the dead was something she doesn’t dare to mess with. Nana knew things were not over as she was still waiting for the second wave but she sent out the new rule to go to the gods.
Down In Ikenga realm, he was no longer laying down at the center of his altar; instead he was now floating in his humanoid form which he went to sleep on. Ikenga looked down at his hand as he clenched them. He could hardly describe the amount of power felt flowing inside of him, he felt he just needed to wield it for a tree to sprout from deep in the center of this world and tear it apart.
Fighting back the Urge to do something stupid, Ikenga looked away from his arms as he looked at his realm new look, It seems he wasn’t the only growing as the realm was now as far as his eyes can see with a mortal eyes, but with his with his connection with the realm he understood how big the real has gotten before it was just a bit more than the size of a football field now it size of an Island that can house multiple cities in it.
The towering trees that now stand seven taller, their branches reaching towards the sky of the realm. The lush canopy they form blankets the land in a verdant embrace, providing sanctuary and sustenance to all those beneath it.
The pristine source of water, once a gentle stream winding through the domain, has grown into a grand river that meanders through the landscape, its crystal-clear waters shimmering in the sunlight. It serves as a lifeline, not only nourishing the vegetation but also drawing creatures from far and wide to its banks.
The absence of predatory animals, once a notable feature of the realm, has now changed allowing the non-predatory creatures that used to live here now have a trait that all animals should have, now they are no longer just living wildly without fear. This balance within the ecosystem has brought a new life and fun Ikem never realized his realm was missing. As for how these predators made their way into the realm, Ikenga has found out before that animals are attracted to his realm and they all somehow find a node in space that allows them to make it to the realm.
Ikenga could cut off those nodes but he chooses not to as it always enables his realm to be teeming with life which is now most needed with how big his realm has gotten.
Ikenga wasn’t the only one taking in the changes in their realm and growth in strength, all gods were doing the same, all of a sudden all the gods made similar action as they turned back to take a look at their altar and a sight they never could imagine was taking place in front of them.
Ikenga noticed the power of faith that was surrounding him, it was coming in from all different sides of the realm but they were gathering in the altar, which does what it does to the faith before transmitting it to them, with each wave of faith that was absorbed a dark ash is left behind.
The ashes got Ikenga attention while he was observing his realm so following the ashes being pulled by something with his eyes, Ikenag was met with sight of a cocooned womb, the ashes being pulled are absorbed into the cocoon as it glowed dark.
It was almost like the womb was waiting for Ikenga to see it as it began shaking and all of a sudden a darkened sharp nail made a hole on the cocoon, before sliding down like a zip was being opened from inside the cocoon.
Ikenga floated back a bit at the sight of that until he was a certain distance from his altar, the cocoon was fully open. Ikenga focused deeply to see if he could see something but all he saw was darkened before two green colored lights the size of an eye opened from the darkness looking directly at Ikenga.
Meanwhile Nana from Inside her realm saw all this "It has begun" She said as a huge thin film covered the planet, what was going to happen was a sight most beings shouldn’t see, only those of some level of power can see what was happening and her barrier made sure of that.
