Mahu with her own question ready, spoke out "what do you mean by true immortality and normal immortality, aren’t they both the same"
Nana smiled and shook her head "There is a difference and your true immortality is why most beings don’t like fighting with origin gods as you bear a similar trait with the demons"
"Some being are immortal and can live forever but they can be killed with no way of coming back, but with origin gods when killed as long as I your mother and this planet is alive and functioning well I can revive you back like nothing was lost, it will take a lot of energy to do that and even when I don’t have enough energy your essence can be stored till I have the energy to revive you will nothing missing" Nana said clearing the confusion.
"Can our counterpart be killed?" Jaws asked.
"They can, but as long as there is the sin they symbolize and you gods alive to act as their link to reality, they will always revive" Nana answered.
"You said that the situation is different with ascended gods, please explain that mother" Keles asked.
"It’s simple really daughter, ascended gods don’t have the altar you origin gods are born with so they have no way of filtering the worship they receive and instead take it all in"
"You might think it’s a good thing but absorbing tainted faith is very bad as the gods power becomes too dependent on that faith and because of the emotions contained in it, the gods are destined to go crazy and lose himself. Sometimes the most extreme case is that the god becomes just an empty vessel shaped by the visage of those that worship him and just do their bidding" Nana answered Keles.
The god’s expression changed even further to "I don’t know about any of you but I prefer our current situation than losing who I am" Crepuscular said while the other gods nodded.
"Indeed which is why this will be a problem in the future as you all will be a target for ascended gods who wants to avoid the same situation, once the words about origin gods are spread, our world will face the invasion of gods who wants to usurp your realm and altar" Nana once again spoke up.
"It’s one thing after the other, this is a messed up world that I got into" Ikenga thought to himself as he sighed at Nana ’s current information.
Having decided that the information was already a lot, Ikenga spoke out "Let’s forget about that for now, right now we have a more pressing issue, the invaders roaming our world and the influence of our counterpart, I have no doubt that they are already some corrupted mortals from just their small visage before disappearing"
Nana silently floated away, she can only share information where the gods are lacking as for the rest she just has to sit back and watch how they handle the situation.
The gods seeing her behavior paid no mind as Ikenga waved his hand before a huge wooden table constructed itself and the gods each taking a place around the table while conjuring a seat for themselves.
"I believe we should focus more on the invaders, from what we have seen in our memory, they are of greater risk to our world right now, from Nana word our other part is something that will play out for a long time" Crepuscular said as the other gods nodded.
"What are we to do about the coordinate those demons threaten our children with, that has to be countered somehow or else we will be at an impasse with them" Mahu said.
Ikenga got an idea hearing that so he spoke out loud to Nana who was in the distance "Mother, does the trump card of the demons still hold that much value with our awakening"
Nana eyes brightened at Ikem’s word so she answered happily "No, but the price will be heavier for them"
Ikenga nodded, hearing that the other gods curious on what Ikenga thought off looked at him "What idea do you have brother?" Jaws asked.
Ikenga took a sip from the wine he was holding "We all already know how the conversation with the demon went with my son and the demon mentioned about them being able to expose our coordinates once their life is in danger or at the cost of their death"
"The threat would have been of value if we were still asleep but before you guys all fell asleep, I was the last one left and I had a lot of weight on me. The weight made me realize just by us being awake we protect our world in a lot of ways"
"An example would be right now that we are all awake, if you all calm down and feel it, you would feel how a part of you surrounded this world like a shield. If when we are sleep this shield is down now that we are all awake the shield is back up and stronger"
"If the demon plans on sharing our world coordinates now, I believe the message will be hard to leave our world without any of us not being able to stop it" Ikenga said as he watched the other gods close their eyes to get a feeling on what he just said.
Soon they all opened their eyes, Keles spoke up "That’s amazing, it almost takes nothing from us. If you had experienced or explained it to us, I believe we would have no idea about it"
Mahu nodded as she spoke "so that was why you asked Nana, and her saying the price will be heavier means that the demons would need to sacrifice more if they want the coordinate to leak out from our world"
"Indeed," Ikenga nodded.
"That means we have to share the news with our children, they no longer have to hold back from the demon’s threat," Crepuscular said.
"But how do we do that with our new rule, we can’t exactly just go down to the mortal world anymore with no consequences?" Ikenga asked.
Mahu spoke up "We can’t doesn’t mean that the demigods can’t come to our realm"
"What do you mean?" Keles asked.
Not responding to Keles, Mahu looked at Nana who was a bit away from them for an answer.
"The demigod can indeed come to your realm but unlike before you all open a portal for them, they have to find out the coordinate point to your realm by themselves" Nana answered Mahu.
Nana then continued looking at Keles, "Your children should be let out from your realm soon for their own safety, it was okay for them to be there when you were asleep but now you are awake and your realm is growing stronger. It is time for them to leave unless you want them to assimilate to your realm and never to leave it then you can let them continue staying in the underworld"
Keles was a bit happy and sad hearing that as she asked "Does that mean that they can have their own creations out there in the world?"
"Indeed, and daughter please have them under control" Nana said in a pleading tone.
Ikenga spoke up before Keles could respond "if you children are still in their realm then we can give them the messes that they can find a way to spread it among the demigods"
"Indeed but we also have to find a way for us to communicate with our own kids, depending on Keles kids to do that all the time will soon prove to be bad once they no longer like other demigods have access to their mothers realm" Jaws said as he put on a thinking face on.
Meanwhile as the gods were discussing their plan for the future, down in the apeling kingdom back to when the gods disappeared from everyone’s view.
An apeling can be seen looking up to the sky from one of the window in the academy building for the common apelings.
The apeling was a demon who acted as a student at the beginning of the academy year and with his supposed intelligence was able to graduate and serve as a teacher.
"So the gods in this world are truly origin gods, how lucky am I to see a sight of a legend that only occurs in a world with origin gods" The demon thought to himself as it remembered the look alike of the gods and the other world that they got into.
