Chapter 145: 145
"You already met the other two" The jaguar said, pointing to the gorilla and the mountain where the huge snake was.
Ursula look at the multiple eyes staring at them from the mist and at the huge monster’s gathered around, "I am already here, I might as well see how much i can push" Ursula thought to herself as she pointed her golden flaming spear at the Jaguar, this time more a more powerful energy started brewing at the tip of the spear.
The jaguar seeing that frowned and said "What do you mean by this demigod, don’t you see and understand the advantage we have over you"
Ursula shrugged as the elder behind her started powering up "I do, and I am my people are ready for the sacrifices that are needed to end all this" She said.
"Damn suicidal demigod" The jaguar though to itself as it began pacing around.
"Demigod, we have no enmity. You have given me enough reason to attack your people when they flew and parade inside my realm uninvited, yet i have made no move against you except those that deserved it"
"Our fight today was unexpected, true that i might have stood in your way but ultimately your goal was reached so why continue this fight" The Jaguar said to Ursula in an inquiring tone confused.
"Because I can and I already grew tired of letting you do whatever it is you want. I know a few things about you demons, your bargain and ace cards but since Felix forgot those ace cards and compromised his position after the awakening of the gods shows me that it now means nothing and you are all scared" Ursula said with a smirk.
The Jaguar stayed quiet at that before smirking and said in a joking tone "Your arm must be tired from pointing that spear at me
The sound of laser cutting through the air was heard as the condensed lame at the tip of Ursula spear left its position quickly headed for the Jaguar who did nothing, even gestured to the gorilla who appeared in front of him to defend the golden flame to stand back.
The golden laser felt on the where the jaguar stood creating a big whole that reached into the other side where there is water, Like the land as alive the whole was quickly healed up:
"No joking huh" The jaguar said to Ursula who did nothing but frown.
"You action just prove we both don’t want a fight demigod, so how do you propose we end this" The jaguar said to Ursula who dispersed the spear she held in her hand and at the same time recalling the phoenix back to her as the temperature around returned slowly back to normal.
"Stop your Pollution to the lands, that is my only inquiry and I will leave with my people" Ursula said to the Jaguar who frowned.
"That is a big request for your highness, I may have some problem agreeing to that" The jaguar said as he shook his head.
"It’s a big request but fortunately for me, it is a request that you have no choice but to agree to" Ursula responded back nonchalantly.
Bernard who has been silent beside her spoke up "Give it up demon, the gods awakening have titled the balance in our favor, you have been left to do whatever you wanted because we fear the hands you hold no it your turn to fear the hand we hold and do as my queen says"
The Jaguar stayed silent before speaking "Your untamable servant is indeed right, the gods awakening have made things better for you guys but you forget the information we have and that information includes how wrong your dependance on the possibility on the gods taking action"
"They have their own set of rules to follow, but I agree with your proposal demigod. I will stop the pollution of lands in exchange your people are to stay out from my reclaimed land and realm" The jaguar said. 𝚗ovp𝚞b.𝚌om
Ursula’s wings began fanning as she took off slowly before responding " Like I said we have the upper hand now, so we do what we want and for you all you can do is watch your back and count your days" She said before taking off.
The Jaguar looked to the now clear sky, waving his hands the purple mist and the eyes behind him all dispersed leaving only him and his five generals, The dragon beast from his position spoke up "Was that a smart decision Krogan?"
The Jaguar, hearing his name called, looked at the dragon beast as he turned back to his four legged form "You don’t agree with my choice?"
"Indeed, I have my doubts. We had a much better advantage to end this demigod right here and now, who is to say that she will keep her own end of the bargain" The dragon beast asked.
"She will keep her own end of the bargain as long as I don’t give her a reason not to, she cares a lot about her people, she wouldn’t want to send them to war and die so she will uphold her own end of the deal to keep peace. Besides stopping the pollution now isn’t bad for us, the land we have claimed is now too much to control and keep in touch of"
"Stopping the population can help us better concentrate our power and get ready" the Jaguar said to his generals who still had their doubts but nodded as they all stepped back while at the same time their position was being covered by a purple mist which soon disappeared along with them.
The Jaguar went back to it’s sleeping spot and began licking its fur, while looking at the place where the ashes of Felix fell "It could have been a better ending if he ended up in my stomach"
Saying that the demon looked up to the sky with distant eyes like it was looking at something.
In Nana ethereal space, the gods all saw how the demon eyes seem to claw with theirs, they doubt he could see but he most definitely knows that he is being watched.
"This is a rather interesting demon," Jaws said, watching the Jaguar that was once again licking its furs.
"Indeed, especially his artificially created realm. Your daughter made a good decision in choosing not to fight him" Keles said to crepuscular who was feeling prideful after watching his daughter battle.
"It’s good her scarring didn’t make her doubt herself" Crepuscular thought to himself before he was drawn out of his thoughts by Keles.
"Hmm, it should be the opposite. The demon should be praised for its decision to not lay a hand on my daughter" Crepuscular said as the table grew hotter.
"Hahaha, well said brother but Keles is indeed right about one thing: his created realm is incredible. Haven’t gotten a closer look to it yet but that land is alive and ready to corrupt anyone who gets into it"
"Ursula may have won but she won’t come out unscathed" Ikenga said jokingly before speaking out a bit seriously at the end.
"What do we do about this demon?" Mahu asked, breaking the tension.
"Nothing, we do nothing. From what we have seen an action has to be taken by one of us before his realm can be completely destroyed, sending our young ones there would be unwise" Jaws said.
The other gods nodded before Ikenga then spoke up "From the trend on how things are going now, the demigods will all soon know about the demon situation by themselves. I see no use on us sending keles children out to deliver such an obvious knowledge"
"What do you propose we do then?" Keles asked.
"Rather than them informing the other demigods about the demon situation, I believe it would be better if they could be informed on our situation first. Nana said a certain ritual has to be performed before we can exert an influence on the outside world"
"Our children probably will be looking forward to us meeting them which we unfortunately can’t so if we can inform them of our current predicament, it will lessens the resentment and help their decision making when they meet a strong demon like the Jaguar"
"We all heard the demon warning Ursula about that, if such a situation can be avoided I say we do that" Ikenga said as the gods fell silent and began thinking on his words.
Keles saw the silent agreement of her siblings os he said "I will instruct my kids on that when i get back"
"What are we to do about the humans and the demon challenges they also face" Mahu said as she, among the other gods, had a group of humans who worship her devotedly, they even had their whole power system based on her.
The gods heard her words immediately and all looked towards Nana. They were interested in what she would say now that it seems the interference of the gods is inevitable. Nana was able to guess their thought process so all she did was sigh.
