Chapter 95: 95

The people walking by Murmur looked strangely at him as he had a twisted smile on his face. It didn’t take much time to find the village head wife as she was sitting with a group of women.

Murmur had no reaction at that as he calmly walked up to the group of women, before smiling subtlety and said out loud, "Can i have some alone time with the leaders wife"

Weirdly there was no argument as the women all stood up leaving the village wife alone, Murmur looked at the young female woman as he sat down, Nothing was said as the woman was just quietly looking at Murmur.

"Girl, i have a proposal for you" Murmur finally said out loud as he rubbed his chin.

The woman finally spoke up as she smiled at Murmur, "What would that be?"

"Making you the most powerful woman in this continent, with me you can have more than this settlement, What do you think?" Murmur asked the woman.

"That is not a funny joke to make young man, I was doing my due diligence not minding your disrespect and listening to you as it is my responsibility as the village head wife but if you are here to make jokes then please leave and call back my friends on your way out" The woman said with a displeased look on her face.

Murmur said nothing as he stood up walking closer to the woman, soon he got close enough as he got down to look into her eyes, as his own eyes flashed red "And what makes you think that i was joking?"

This time it was the woman turn to stay silent as she looked at the serious Murmur, finally she got herself together "What makes you think i am that ambitious, what stops me from telling everyone if what you just said"

"Hahaha, Simple because you are a human. Mortal woman. It is what you humans want, men, children or women, Power and here I am offering it to you. I could have gone to your husband and made the proposal but ultimately decided you are the best choice" Murmur said as he grabbed the woman’s chin.

"I indeed don’t like my current position as just the village head wife, married out of necessity so your proposal seems tempting enough for me, so how are you to make the most powerful woman" The woman asked as he looked back at Murmur.

Smiling, Murmur bowed as he scooped her up and carried her in a bridal pose, "It first start with you bearing me a child and then your current husband death which comes after but we first have to pass the first hurdle"

A weird look came upon the woman’s face, "Is all this just a ruse of yours to just get me to sleep with you?"

"Don’t think too much into it woman" Murmur said as he carried her into the room of the village head.

"By the way what is your name woman" Murmur asked

"Kaelin, and what’s yours mister?" Kaelin asked.

"Murmur, But please refer to me as Mr Mur from here on" Murmur said as the door closed behind them.

Deep down in the waters where a beautiful underwater sea kingdom can be found, a mesmerizing sight unfolds beneath the surface of the ocean, hidden from the eyes of the surface world. As you approach the kingdom, you are greeted by a breathtaking sight – colossal coral formations of all shapes and sizes, adorned with bioluminescent flora that cast a gentle glow across the entire kingdom. The ambient light dances through the water, creating a magical, otherworldly atmosphere.

The architecture of the kingdom is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of its Murloc inhabitants. The buildings, made of intricately woven coral and adorned with luminescent shells, spiral upwards towards the ocean’s surface. Towers resembling spires of ancient castles extend into the water, creating a cityscape that seems to be part of the natural underwater landscape.

Swirling schools of vibrant fish traverse through the city’s alleys, providing a dynamic and living tapestry of colors. Elaborate gardens of swaying sea anemones and towering kelp forests are carefully tended to, creating havens of tranquility within the bustling underwater metropolis.

As you venture deeper into the kingdom, you encounter the Sharkmen patrolling the outskirts, their burly forms blending seamlessly with the aquatic environment. The grand palace, a majestic structure carved from giant clamshells and adorned with precious gems, stands as the central hub of the kingdom.

Inside the Place sat Tide who now sported a huge flowing beard sat on his throne with a hand and his shin as he looked at the council member talking with boredom on his face.

"Something has to be done about this new murlocs upstanding on how they deserve the treatment as the sharkmen, it bad that some murlocs under us are having idea on joining this pointless cause" One of the sharkmen council member spoke up and he slammed his hand on the table in front of them.

King Tide, with his majestic flowing beard, leaned forward on his throne, his eyes narrowing as he listened to the concerns of the Sharkmen council member.

"Councilor Finback, I believe you have some ideas on what is going on" Tide commanded, his deep voice resonating through the chamber. "What has stirred the disturbance among our Murloc brethren?"

Finback, his sharp, shark-like features expressing concern, stood tall. "Your Highness, it’s some unknown murlocs who’ve been advocating for equal treatment, suggesting that the Sharkmen are more favored. They’re quickly gaining support among some of their own kind. This could jeopardize the harmony we’ve maintained since our kingdom has been established."

King Tide’s eyes glowed with a subtle intensity as he pondered the situation. "Equality is a noble concept, but our society has thrived under the balance we’ve established. We cannot allow such thought to fester within our kingdom. Summon the leader of these murlocs and bring them before me. I will listen to their grievances and decide the path forward."

Hearing Tide’s words, the hall fell silent as no one responded to him. Tide raised and eyebrow at that, "Was my order not quite clear and why haven’t I gotten a response yet"

Finack cleared his throat "Your highness, we have tried approaching or finding the leaders of these new cause but nothing has been found yet, it was like an idea that sprang out of nowhere leading us to believe that this might just be a general ideas of the murlocs"

"And you expect me to believe that, the murlocs have always been under the sharkmen but we made sure to treat them right, even gave them positions of power so them suddenly sprouting out the idea of rebelance is nigh impossible unless someone deliberately lit the fire" Tide said as he rubbed his beard.

One of the council member Finely spoke up, "We thought the same your highness, which is why we were on the lookout for the leader but nothing has been found yet"

Tide leaned back on his throne, his gaze piercing through the council members. "Very well," he said with a tone that resonated with authority. "If finding the leader proves challenging, we must take alternative measures to address this unrest but first we have to find out where their confidence to stand against us comes from"

Finback once again cleared his throat as he responded, "I believe I might have an idea on their source of confidence, your highness"

"What would that be Finback?" Tide asked.

"Your highness, as we all know months ago there was the incident of treasure and things of different natures falling from the sky, closer research on these things that fell from the sky has greatly surprised us and we have learnt a lot from them which we are currently learning of ways to apply it for our kingdom and its people"

"The fall of treasure was everywhere meaning anyone could have gotten their hands on something significant, we have seen some oth this murlocs protestors holding weapons not made by our kingdom, so to answer your question your highness, their confidence may have come from those treasures"

"Not plausible finback, My sister and I made sure to keep an eye out for those treasures and made sure that nothing significant can reach any murloc or even sharkmen hands" Tide said as he shook his head.

Finely stood up before bowing and apologizing, "Not to doubt the prowess of your majesty and your sister by there is a chance that your highness you have have overlooked some treasure because they looked or not feel too significant like this ring" Finely said as he raised his hand to show a ring where a trident popped out from.

Tide raised an eyebrow at the sight, "A ring that stores weapons" Tide muttered to himself out loud. 𝔫𝖔𝔳𝔭𝔲𝔟.𝖈𝔬𝔪

Finback responded, "Not only weapons your highness, but clothes food, a lot of things can be stored in these simple looking rings, so we are to believe that the leader of this new opposition might have gotten their hand on a treasure powerful enough to make them believe that they have a chance to stand against us"
