Chapter 1486: 667 Heartbeat_1 Chapter 1486: 667 Heartbeat_1 What disappointed Nando was that until the following morning, he did not receive any news about a meeting with the Holy Master.

“General, the Holy Master secretly summoned Allegro Kent last night,” Atton Rowney came in to report.

“Allegro Kent?” Nando frowned, “What for?”

Atton shook his head, “We have no insiders in the Holy Temple.

We have no idea what was discussed.”

“Summon Allegro Kent to me when he leaves the temple.”

At the break of dawn, a sedan chair left through the side door of the Holy Temple, vanishing into the thin morning mist.

Atton and his men stopped Allegro in his path, “General Nando wants to see you, Sir Allegro.”

With a grin, Allegro replied, “I should’ve paid General Nando a visit as I haven’t seen him for some time.

But, I apologize, I am on a crucial assignment and can only visit the General later.

After all, we can’t afford to delay the Holy Master’s affairs.”

Invoking the Holy Master made Atton speechless.

...

He could only watch as Allegro’s sedan chair drove away.

Atton returned to Nando to relay the outcome, “General, what does the Holy Master mean by this?”

Nando snorted coldly, “I’d evidently overestimated that man’s significance to her.”

——

A meeting was being held at the Crown Prince’s Imperial Lodge to discuss the arrangements for the Prince’s departure from the palace.

The Destination was the Divine Academy found in the western suburbs of Inracetales.

Prince Liam Anderson was a third-year student at the Divine Academy, where there was no distinction between a prince and a commoner.

Due to the busyness at the palace recently, Prince Liam had stayed in the Royal City for a prolonged period.

However, now that the Crown Prince has been established, Prince Liam needs to further his education at the Divine Academy.

The academy, though said to be in the west suburb, is actually over twenty kilometres from the royal city, surrounded by unoccupied and seldom visited wastelands.

They set off early in the morning and arrived punctually at the academy’s front gates at eight o’clock.

Only one guard could accompany the prince into the academy.

Therefore, Aubree Groove was the only one accompanying Prince Liam into the world’s most mysterious university.

Liam pointed out the scenery as they travelled, a smile on his face, “This place is tranquil, you will certainly like it.”

Aubree observed the surroundings, and indeed it was tranquil.

They had been walking for half a day, and she had not seen a single person.

There were no visible birds in the sky either.

The area was spacious, consisting of sprawling baroque-style buildings, with spires reaching to the sky, exuding a sense of freedom.

These structures rose majestically under the clear blue sky, both romantic and solemn.

In the central square, a pristine white statue stood.

It was of a long-haired figure wearing a mask and holding a staff.

Endowed with a soul by the sculpture, it appeared sacred and untouchable.

While Aubree observed the statue, Liam’s gentle voice echoed in her ear, “The Holy Master is a figure of worship in the hearts of all students.

She is truly remarkable.”

“Those in high positions look down upon us, and should show compassion.”

It’s a shame that all I see in her eyes is ambition.

Aubree redirected her gaze, “Prince, it’s time to go.”

Prince Liam gave her a smile, “You will like it here.”

The dorms were located by a lake in the northern part of the campus.

The surroundings were tranquil.

By opening a window, one could see the deep blue of the lake and Niah Mountain in the distance.

Under a blue sky dotted with white clouds, the scenery was picturesque.

Prince Liam lived alone in a luxurious single room.

While he was unpacking, someone knocked on the door.

Aubree walked over and opened it.

Standing outside was a man dressed in navy-blue uniform, a man with a typical appearance of a Percival inhabitant, his sharp eyes landing on Aubree’s face.

“Amadeo Parker, long time no see.” Liam greeted with a smile.

Amadeo entered, and the two men greeted each other with a hug.

At that moment, Aubree noticed that Liam lost the aura of a prince and appeared merely as an ordinary university student.

“Is this him?” Amadeo’s eyes once again landed on Aubree with a touch of hostility.

“She is my friend,” Laim responded.

Amadeo tossed an ID card to Aubree, “From today on, you’ll be living with me.”

“That’s not possible,” Liam responded, shaking his head with a smile.

“Why?”

Liam didn’t answer him, and instead pointed to a corner of the room, “Put a bed there.”

Aubree picked up the ID card, which resembled a student ID.

It had her name – Julius Sutton, student number 1207, and her class – A-01 written on it. 𝚗𝚘v𝚙𝚞b.𝚌𝚘m

Aubree looked at Liam, “What’s going on?”

“You must always stay by my side,” Liam gently explained.

Aubree put away the ID card, “I will always bear in mind the responsibilities I carry.”

Liam chuckled, “Rest first.

I’ll take you to lunch later.”
