The massive storm above the Land of Miracles had not abated but was steadily growing stronger. Darkness had begun to spread from the storm as it gradually devoured the light emerging from the branches of the Tree of Life.
For the first time since the dawn of the Primordial Era, darkness filled the Land of Miracles and the only light that shone was emerging from the massive lightning bolts that stretched across countless light years and the two glowing eyes above.
The cold eyes above had a piercing stare that reached into the hearts of every immortal, and some stared into the eyes for too long and their souls perished, a brief touch on their bodies shattered them to dust.
Cries of fear and hysteria filled all of Reality from the Celestial Domain and its endless Angelic hosts to the Supreme World of Mages where an unfathomable genius was about to be given a title, down to the Great Abyss where Demons entered the storms and screamed their fear disguised as rage, and those cold eyes that lacked any emotions looked down upon it all.
Within those eyes, the brave who looked upon it and survived could see fragments of mysteries that tantalized their senses, and many immortals were lost in the glow of those mighty eyes, which seemed to contain all the colors in Reality, but for them, only death was their answer, yet what was terrifying was that all immortals or mortals who looked long into the eyes and died, did it with a smile on their faces.
Their smile was beatific, it was as if they had seen a paradise that was behind all the limits of their imagination, and they were going home.
There were many who saw those smiles on the faces of the dead and envied them. Despite knowing the fate that would follow, so many chose to look deep into those eyes above the storm, their souls were lost, but their smiles… were blissful.
Seed and Elura were looking at the storm and the Eyes above it and then down to the Memory of Primordial Life, the green ocean had frozen, and it resembled an emerald mirror that stretched for an infinity, although this mirror did not reflect the storm above.
The both of them did not seem to be affected by the glow from the eyes, and on the surface, they both seemed to be calm, but there was a certain stiffness that they did not notice that had surrounded their bodies, and despite how much Rowan knew about the minds of others, he would not have believed that at this moment, even if they were not yet aware of it, the seeds of fear of him had been planted in the souls of Seed and Elura.
The both of them had planned for every eventuality before they killed off Rowan's maid and drove a blade into his skull, they had even deliberated on random events happening that were simply impossible, like Rowan fighting against the entire forces of the Land of Miracle with an unknown power and many other outlandish possibilities, but nothing could prepare them for... This!
A storm that was ravaging all of Reality with these unknown eyes above looking down on everything. This was power on the level of a Primordial!
When did Rowan begin to associate with other Primordial forces and how deep did this conspiracy go? Were multiple Primordials backing him and were these Primordials the enemy of Primordial Life?
So many questions that they had not bothered to factor into the equation thundered through their minds and so they were not aware of the seed slowly growing inside their heart. 𝓷ℴ𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶
Elura had a frown on her brows and her fingers were twitching by the side, faint fragments of memories, fate, and destiny swirled around her fingers as she used her deductive ability as a powerful Old One to decipher the threads of the future.
This was an extremely risky practice, but Elura could no longer wait for what was to come, the lack of understanding was eating her soul from the inside and she decided to take this risk.
Although it was true that no one could see the future, that was not strictly the case, because the minds of an immortal, especially an Old One like Elura were so powerful that coupled with the powers of memories, fate, and destiny which they controlled, gave them the ability to see the future, but this was just a simulation.
However, the simulation they could carry out with their higher dimensional powers was so precise in its scope and depths that there was virtually no difference between the real future and the simulated future produced using this method.
If this technique were utilized on lesser immortals or mortals, the simulation could be said to be a hundred percent correct, and so Elura could see the trajectory of a mortal's life, from the day he was born to the day he dies, and if he becomes an immortal, she would still be able to calculate his future until he reached the seventh-dimensional level and holds his own fate.
This technique was extremely powerful, known only to a few Old Ones and practiced by even fewer of them because it was possible to accurately predict the life path of a single being with a great degree of accuracy but the problem arose when that being began to associate with others, causing their fate to be intertwined with everyone around them.
Placed in a vacuum where the individual would not interact with many different people, the simulation was extremely accurate, but outside a vacuum, that interaction would become nearly uncontrollable and the cost of understanding all those interactions would become mind-numbing.
This interaction between the fates of multiple individuals was called Karma, and understanding its complexity and power led to the death of some Old Ones who wished to calculate the future.
What started as a story of a single person would balloon into a grand tapestry of fate that stretches across billions of lives as the fate of a single man touches the lives of billions and this interaction changes the direction of his life, and the lives of all those around them, whether in big or small ways.
