Chapter 108: Chapter 108: The Terrible Winter
Su Tang jumped up excitedly from the ground.
She felt an overwhelming urge to sell all the beast skins in the cave to the Mall instantly!
Seeing Aunt Hongguo’s confused expression, Su Tang suppressed her excitement and trembling heart!
"Ahem, you’ve done a fantastic job, Hongguo, try it on quickly!"
With a bewildered look on her face, Aunt Hongguo held the clothes, not knowing how to put them on!
Su Tang reacted swiftly and patiently guided her with a gentle smile.
"Spread your hands, push them through both sleeves first, then pull the head through, and adjust the dress. All done!"
After helping Aunt Hongguo put on the clothes, Su Tang also quickly noticed the deficiencies of the shirt.
Hongguo explained that since there were no suitable needles and threads, she used thorny beast bones to make sewing needles and a kind of strong and slender grass for sewing.
The stitching was rather bulky, with gaps so large that Su Tang can fit a finger in-between them!
Nevertheless, the beast skin vest was nicely made, being incomparably warmer than the previously-made chest-wraps. This new clothing had instantly become Aunt Hongguo’s favorite!
"Tangtang, as a messenger of the Beast God, you are extraordinary! We never thought of making clothes from beast skin before!"
Aunt Hongguo was extremely satisfied with her clothes and did not want to take them off! 𝑛𝘰𝘷𝑝𝘶𝑏.𝑐𝘰𝘮
The females who were originally molding clay nearby also came up and touched the clothing, enraptured.
"It’s so pretty! If it was made from the hide of the long-eared beast, it would definitely look better!"

They continuously praised Su Tang for being clever and kind-hearted, saying that the Beast God would bless her over and over again.
Su Tang’s lips twitched slightly and she started to say something, but then took a look around and decided to swallow her words.
She wanted to buy a down jacket for each of the beastmen in the tribe.
However, her mother had always taught her not to make promises that she was unsure she could keep.
Although she was capable of providing the beastmen with enough to eat and wear, she hadn’t discussed it with Gaiyin yet, so she decided to not mention it to avoid raising false hopes.
"After the tribal chief returns from the hunt, I will tell him that Tangtang taught us how to make clothes. I will ask him to order clothes to be made for all the females and cubs in our tribe to help us survive the harsh winter!"
Su Tang quickly waved her hands to stop her, "Aunt Hongguo, please don’t say that. It’s you who taught me how to do this. You made these clothes, it’s not my achievement!"
Aunt Hongguo reverted to her usual stern expression, "No! It was only because of you that I could make such warm clothes! On behalf of the tribe’s females and cubs, I thank you!"
With that, she clenched her right hand into a fist and placed it above her heart, deeply bowing to Su Tang.
How could she not be affected by such a heartfelt gesture!
Su Tang hurriedly reached out to lift Aunt Hongguo up.
"Aunt Hongguo ! Please don’t do this!"
Wanting to avoid being treated differently, Su Tang quickly changed the subject, "By the way Aunt Hongguo, why only make clothes for the females and cubs of the tribe? Don’t the Beastmen need them too?"
Aunt Hongguo nodded, "If the tribe has enough beast skins, they will prepare for the beastmen. If there isn’t enough, they can only be prepared for the females and cubs first!"
