Chapter 113: Chapter 113: Wall-Crawler Beast

Throughout the afternoon, she managed to create quite a number of clothes out of the beast skins!

Jackets, trousers, shorts, underskirts with tights, long skirts, she even made underwear from a softer type of skin!

When she initially suggested this, the female beastmen in the cave refused. However, with Su Tang’s persuasion, they ended up making them!

Once they experienced the benefits of it, Su Tang didn’t need to waste her breath anymore!

...

After eating the roast meat for dinner, they returned early to the cave.

She stoked the fire and slowly poured the water she collected by the river in the afternoon into a clay pot.

After the water heated up, she scooped it into a barrel she had purchased from the system’s store in the afternoon. When the barrel was almost full, she collected it into her spatial tool and placed it in the furthest corner of the cave.

She couldn’t help but marvel at how handy this space was!

Assured that no one would come, Su Tang immersed herself in the hot water, letting the warmth cleanse her weary body. It felt as if all of her pores were open, an extremely delightful sensation.

Releasing a content sigh, Su Tang said, "Ah, this is how life should be..."

After tidying up, she put on fresh underwear and a new set of thermal clothes from the system’s store, feeling entirely refreshed!

Once everything was in order, she gathered all forbidden items back into her space to eradicate any trace of them.

After all, she was on the Beastman Continent now, and when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Therefore, she brought back two garments she had made from the red fruits in the afternoon and covered herself with them, looking almost identical to the native inhabitants here!

She was simply too clever!

Returning to the somewhat uncomfortable stone bed, Su Tang wanted to purchase a few fluffy down quilts from the store. But considering that anyone could enter her cave at any moment, she reluctantly abandoned the thought.

After bustling about for an entire day, she started to feel drowsy soon after she relaxed.

Half in and half out of sleep, she found it difficult to breathe, as if something was pressing down on her.

Confused, Su Tang reached out to push it away...

To her surprise, she touched something soft and cold!

Startled, Su Tang immediately opened her eyes.

She saw a red object similar to a snake letter, spat out from the mouth of an unknown creature on top of her. Su Tang felt as if her heart was about to stop beating.

Her hair stood on end and her blood ran cold as if it was frozen. Even her breathing seemed to halt.

"Ah--"

A piercing, loud, and firm scream echoed throughout the Winged Tiger Tribe!

Many of the beastmen, who were already asleep, were startled awake by this scream!

"Whose voice is that? It sounds like the Sacred Lady!"

"What happened? Let’s go and see!"

"I think I heard the Sacred Lady’s scream. Do you think something dangerous happened?"

"The Sacred Lady is in danger, we need to go help her!"

The beastmen were alerting one another, racing towards Su Tang’s cave!

...

"Su! Are you alright?"

Gaiyin was the first to arrive at the cave!

Thanks to the beastman’s superior night vision, he spotted Su Tang, pinned down by a wall-crawler beast on the stone bed.

He grabbed the tail of the wall-crawler beast and tossed it aside, rushing over to help Su Tang.

"Su, it’s alright now, don’t be scared!"

The wall-crawler beast collided heavily with the cave wall, making a dull thud. Then it dropped down and stopped moving!

Su Tang felt her psychological endurance instantly shatter. She launched herself into Gaiyin’s embrace, hugging his neck tightly as tears cascaded down her face.
