Now it was different. Seeing the two being all lovey-dovey, they might even get married once they’ve settled down!

"Tribe leader! Look at what we found!" Dunshan and Keli called out from a distance.
Getting closer, Su Tang noticed they were holding a short beastman captive.
Well, he was only considered "short" because he was slightly taller than Su Tang!
But on this continent of the well-built beastmen, this man could indeed be considered short!
Never letting go of Su Tang’s hand, Gaiyin slightly knitted his eyebrows and asked, "What happened?"
Dunshan forcefully pushed the beastman forward. With a mighty shove, the beastman was forced to kneel in front of Gaiyin, his face showing defiance!
Keli, with an unhappy face, said, "We were ordered to investigate the Stone Wall, and Dunshan smelled human Qi from the blood traces. We followed the scent all the way! We didn’t expect this beastman to ambush us in a forest! It was utterly loathsome! So we captured him!"
After understanding the circumstances, Gaiyin looked down at the beastman, "Why did you ambush us? Where are your tribesmen?"
The beastman stubbornly refused to answer Gaiyin’s questions.
Keli stomped on the beastman with a fierce expression, "Our tribe leader is talking to you! You deaf or something?"
The frail beastman was sent tumbling into a nearby mud pit by the kick, unable to get up for quite a while. It was evident how hard Keli had kicked him!
Su Tang couldn’t bear to watch and turned her eyes away.
Gaiyin somehow sensed something, pulled her into his arms and gave Keli a brief glance, "Who allowed you to lay your hands on him? Go and get your punishment!"
Keli was still defiant, "But, tribe leader!"
Gaiyin’s eyes turned icy, "Don’t make me repeat myself!"
Keli lowered his head eventually and walked off alone.
Su Tang shortly after heard the sound of a wooden stick hitting one’s flesh and Keli’s suppressed groans.
The frail beastman, noticing that Keli actually got punished, looked in surprise at Gaiyin.
"I am Gaiyin, the Tribe Leader of the Winged Tiger Tribe. Our priests have performed a divination which suggests that a disaster is imminent in the Wilderness. What you experienced last night is not the end of it. We came here only to warn you to retreat as soon as possible, we have no ill intentions!"
The thin beastman looked at Gaiyin guardedly, "Why should I believe you? I’m not falling for your tricks. Our tribesmen are hidden, we won’t become your slaves. Give up on the idea already!"
Surprised, Su Tang turned to look at Gaiyin, "Do we have slaves in our tribe?"
Gaiyin patted Su Tang’s head gently, saying softly, "Don’t listen to his nonsense, of course not!"
The frail beastman looked at Gaiyin in disbelief, "Don’t think you can trick me! Our priests said the disaster is over. You’re just trying to draw us out so you can capture us into slavery!!"
