Gaiyin narrowed his eyes slightly, looking at Yadang with great displeasure.
Su Tang was on the side, her heart pounding and ready to intervene if necessary, but the tense moment between the two passed without incident.

Su Tang nodded. "Yes, that’s right. I was at the entrance of the cave at the time. By the way, do you recognize the two Beastmen from Ten Thousands Beast Country?"
Yadang pondered for a moment before saying, "I came to discuss this very matter with you!"
He turned his gaze to Gaiyin, quietly observing him.
Gaiyin understood his intentions immediately, raising his hand to protectively encase their small cave in metal.
He frowned slightly. "Speak, what happened?"
Only then did Yadang take a deep breath. "Those two Beastmen indeed came from Ten Thousands Beast Country. I even know them. One of them stands quite high in rank!"
Then, with a puzzled look, Yadang seemed to mumble to himself, "But it doesn’t make sense. The Ten Thousands Beast Country is so far from the Wilderness. Why would they suddenly show up here? And with a cub in tow?" 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝑏.𝘤𝘰𝑚
Su Tang looked anxious. "Tell us the important stuff, you’re killing me here!"
Yadang gave a resigned laugh, "Fine, fine. The thinner of the two Beastmen is called Bai Zheng. He’s the third son of the ruler of Ten Thousands Beast Country, so technically, he is my older brother in terms of blood relation."
Su Tang was somewhat taken aback by this news. "Then, didn’t he recognize you earlier?"
Yadang explained, "The ruler of Ten Thousands Beast Country is the biological brother of the Beast City’s city lord. Every warm season, the city lord of Beast City would bring tributes to the Ten Thousands Beast Country, and I once accompanied him there. That’s when I met Bai Zheng."
"The ruler has many sons, and Bai Zheng is one of the more favored ones. However, he always looked down on us sons of the city lords, so we didn’t have much contact. It’s normal that he didn’t recognize me."
Su Tang nodded thoughtfully, "I see...What about the tall and robust Beastman who was with him?"
Yadang recalled, "He seems to be one of the beast soldiers assigned by the ruler to protect Bai Zheng. I remember he used to have many with him, but now there seems to be only this one left. I recognize this soldier though, his name is Lini, a Diamond Bear Beastman. He’s very powerful. Su Tang opened her mouth in shock, "Wow! Beastmen are already quite strong. His superpower is great strength? Does that mean he could move a mountain?"

After careful consideration, Gaiyin replied, "Why don’t I try to fight him and see?"
