Originally digging in the sand on the beach, Gaiyin, who was thoroughly enjoying himself, quickly lifted his head when he heard Su Tang’s coughing.

He dashed towards Su Tang, and, in a flash of movement, wrapped her up in his arms.

With a frightened expression, he asked, "Su, what’s wrong? Where do you feel unwell? Don’t worry, I’ll take you to see Old Nike!"

Su Tang quickly waved her hand and coughed vigorously a few more times before finally expelling the water that had gotten into her trachea.

Her face was flushed as she looked at Gaiyin excitedly, "I’m fine, guess what I’ve discovered?"

Gaiyin still wore a worried expression.

Su Tang couldn’t contain the joy in her heart. She pointed at the sea, her heart was, figuratively, almost jumping out of her chest with excitement.

"Salt! The very salt our tribe is in desperate need of!"

Following the direction of Su Tang’s finger, Gaiyin only saw water.

Gazing at Su Tang seriously, he thought she must have had hallucinations due to eating the potentially poisonous fruit earlier.

Without a word, he picked Su Tang up and sprinted back to the tribe. From the looks of it, she hadn’t eaten much, and with Old Nike’s help, it wasn’t too late to find a remedy.

Su Tang was perplexed. By the time she realized what was happening, she was already back in the valley.

She had been thrown over Gaiyin’s shoulder like a sack of potatoes and was nearly nauseous from the bumpy ride back.

Gaiyin put her in front of Old Nike, his face tense, "Su ate a poisonous fruit and is hallucinating, please check on her quickly!"

The hallucinating Su Tang: ???

Hearing Gaiyin’s words, Old Nike was instantly anxious, he hurriedly questioned, "What fruit did you eat, Su cub? Show me quickly, the cub told me before that antidotes usually grow around the poisonous plants."

Gaiyin nodded and was about to lift Su Tang up again.

Su Tang quickly stepped back, inhaling sharply.

"No, no, no, I have not been poisoned!"

Old Nike cast a skeptical glance at Gaiyin.

Su Cub didn’t seem to look like she had been poisoned.

Gaiyin still looked serious.

"You’re poisoned, or else how could you talk nonsense?"

It dawned on Su Tang why Gaiyin had said she was poisoned.

A few metaphorical tense lines crossed her forehead and she patiently explained, "I wasn’t talking nonsense! It really is salt! That..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Old Nike cut in excitedly, "Really? You have found salt? Then we won’t have to send anyone to the Antelope Tribe for salt!"

Gaiyin glanced at Old Nike and then said to Su Tang in all seriousness, "But it’s clearly water!"

"Water?" Old Nike was a bit confused, how could it be both salt and water?

Unable to hold back her frustration, Su Tang growled, "Can you please let me finish my sentence?!"

Old Nike: "..."

Gaiyin: "..."

Su Tang took a deep breath, "It’s seawater. Seawater contains salt, and the water there is bitter and salty. If you don’t believe me, you can go and taste it for yourself. I know how to extract salt from seawater, so we don’t have to go to the Antelope Tribe for salt."

Gaiyin paused for a moment.

He didn’t know whether the young female was telling the truth or was talking nonsense due to eating the poisonous fruit.

So, he had no option but to quickly head to the sea to taste the water. If it did taste bitter and salty, it would mean that the young female wasn’t poisoned and had indeed found salt. If that wasn’t the case, he would have to hurry back and take the young female to find the antidote.

Old Nike watched Gaiyin’s retreating figure, "Well..."
