Chapter 248: Chapter 249: Concussion
Xionger caught Liu Ye and Su Tang leaving out of the corner of his eye and felt extremely upset!
His heart burned with resentment looking at Xiongda.
He felt a suffocating pressure in his chest, making him uncomfortable beyond belief. Xionger felt like he was about to explode!
Unable to resist, he let out a low growl and fiercely swung a punch at Xiongda!
’Bang’
Xiongda slid several meters across the grassy ground before lying motionless.
Initially, Xionger didn’t care.
But seeing Xiongda lying down without getting up, Xionger felt his entire back covered in goosebumps.
He felt weak and powerless, but, not caring about his abnormality, he crawled over to Xiongda’s side. 𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒑𝙪𝙗.𝙘𝒐𝙢
His voice faintly shook as he said, "Xiongda Xiongda, what’s wrong with you, don’t scare me! Get up, I won’t blame you anymore if you get up!"
Xiongda still didn’t move.
Xionger was extremely scared, and his voice instantly raised, "Xiongda, wake up!"
People like Su Tang, who had not gone far, heard the unusual noise and turned back.
"What’s wrong with Xiongda?"
Xionger turned his head, his face full of terror.
"Chief! I don’t know! I just punched Xiongda once, and he stopped moving! Please save Xiongda!"
Su Tang slightly furrowed her brows, gently pushed aside Liu Ye’s arm, and squatted down next to Xiongda.
Xiongda’s face was pale and his breathing was shallow, not appearing to be critically ill.
Su Tang looked at Xionger and asked, "Where did you hit him?"
Xionger was also a bit dumbfounded and shook his head in panic, "I, I, I don’t remember. I just lightly hit him once, and he flew from there to here. Holy Lady, how is Xiongda? Will he meet with the Beast God? It’s all my fault! If Xiongda meets the Beast God, I will accompany him!"
Gaiyin stepped forward and heavily patted Xionger’s head.
"What are you talking about! Shut up!"
Su Tang was both anxious and angry, and said to Gaiyin, "Anywhere but the head? The kid is not very bright to begin with, don’t make him even dumber by hitting him there."
She then turned around to continue examining Xiongda, ignoring the others.
She gently patted Xiongda’s cheek and whispered repeatedly in his ear, "Xiongda, Xiongda can you hear me? If you can, answer me, Xiongda!"
"Hmm..."
Xiongda’s eyes were still closed, but at least he let out a sound.
Su Tang breathed a sigh of relief.
If she wasn’t mistaken, Xiongda seemed to be in a pre-comatose state from a mild concussion, likely from being accidentally hit in the head by Xionger during their fight.
The beastmen of the Beastman Continent are all robust and strong, so a mild concussion is not a big issue for them. Letting him lie here for a while to recover should be fine; however, he should rest more and avoid heavy work in the coming days.
Xionger looked at Su Tang with surprise and joy, "Holy Lady, is Xiongda okay now? When will he wake up?"
"He’s okay, let him lie here for a while, he’ll recover soon. But you were too heavy-handed and gave him a concussion!"
Xionger didn’t know what a concussion was, but looking at Xiongda’s condition, it seemed to be severe.
Feeling wronged, he said, "I did not use much force! It was just the normal strength we use when we fight, who knew he would fly from there to here! I was scared to death! I don’t feel any strength in my body now!"
Su Tang scoffed, thinking Xionger was scared.
